"I didn't always have it you know." Chase told Aiden with a glare in his eyes. "I waited for ten years. Ten years of being his best friend and being in love with the man. It took him forever to realize he loved me back." Chase explained. "You knew him in Nevada. He moved before he was ten years old here. You didn't know him for ten years. You weren't his best friend for ten years. I've been his friend since the moment I stepped on the train to go to Hogwarts." It was almost a love story of sorts.
It was their love story, and Aiden had tried to ruin it. "Whatever. Yeah sure. I'll do whatever I please and whatever I think is right. Can I go now? Or do you have something else you want to tell me."

Aiden understood Chase but Aiden was going to stand by his words, "True Chase Jackson. You have been by Brent's side all this time. That is why I envy you even more. Because you have seen and comforted him when he needed it. You were there when he realized that he wasn't meant to spend the rest of his life with a woman. You, Chase. Not me. Even if I came back before he realized that he liked men more than women, I know that he would have gone to you still. Try to grasp that blessing and grateful for it." Aiden said.
he took his cup and finished his tea. He had said everything he needed to say. Well, almost everything. He wasn't going to tell Chase here that he was dating Jackie. The same Jackie that had raped Alex. But if Aiden had known that it was what Jackie had intended to do, he would have stopped it. He thought that he would just hurt him a little. Not rape. It never crossed his mind at all.
"Well, I think we've covered what we should. And of course. you are free to leave as you freely came. Expect an owl in a day or two. Green has told me that he invited you and Brent over for dinner. Red shall be pleased to cook for more people than just Silver, Green and me. Have a good day and pleasant return to you home, Chase." Aiden greeted as he bowed his head before standing up and leaving first.

This dude was boring him, honestly. It was all about how Chase was lucky. Did Aiden honestly think Chase didn't think he was the luckiest man on the planet for being with Brent? He did. Because Brent was the best guy in the world, and Chase had him all to himself. Maybe he was so pissed at Aiden because it made him worry slightly that that wasn't true. Obviously it didn't occur to Aiden.
Chase just simply waved a hand at Aiden as he left the tea shop. Chase finished off his tea like Aiden had and walked out in the same manor. He apparated home and went to go find Brent. He really just wanted to be in his arms right now. He wanted him to hold him, and kiss him. He wanted him. He'd tell him what happened, of course. Chase told Brent everything.
