Mack laughed at that statement. "Dria doesn't have the best history with anyone.... Hell. The first time we met we fought and she called me a mudblood." Mack laughed but kind of burrowed his eyebrows. That wasn't exactly a good way to start a relationship. But... that was how theirs had started. It couldn't have been the worst way to start one, he supposed. Or... maybe it could be.
"Lavender smells good." Mack smirked at her. "Personally. I can't take a shower unless I have my strawberry shampoo. I'm just weird like that." It was true. Mack refused to take a shower unless he had his strawberry shampoo. He thought it added character to his personality. And he loved the smell of strawberries.
"I see myself with a wife that loves me and I love. With a few kids. A steady job either as a quidditch player or an auror. And myself happy. My sister in my life somehow. And I'll be living in heaven." Mack didn't think he wanted much out of his life, but that was what was going to make him happy. He just hoped he could get that.
Mack decided to change topics a bit, but still ask a question. "What are you doing tomorrow?" He hoped she would get that he was trying to get her to do something with him. He was thinking quidditch. He could probably drag Phoenix out too and then they'd be able to help her more.

Elizabeth furrowed her eyebrows when Mack said that Alexandria called him a mudblood. What a bitch!"Hey, strawberry is perfectly fine..." Elizabeth paused, "if you are a girl." She laughed and gave him a little nudge in the side. "But, really, I love strawberries. They are my favorite fruit, and whenever I smell them, my mouth just starts watering." His future seemed all planned out, and it kind of shocked her that he wanted a family and kids by the time he was 26. "I like how you have everything figured out. I am totally not like that. All I know is that I want to be a healer. I'm not that good at planning. The accident taught me that life can change on the drop of a hat, so what's the use in planning? Now, I just like to live day by day. It makes it all that much more enjoyable for me because it makes everything seem new and shiny. It keeps the excitement." Elizabeth acted as if she was contemplating what she was going to be doing tomorrow, but it was an act. She never has anything going on because she doesn't really have any friends. Just her and her books. "Let's see, tomorrow...my schedule says that I have a major date with a book, like normal. Why? Do you have something planned? Oh, please tell me you do. What ever it is, I would love to do it with you," Elizabeth rambled. She didn't care if she sounded like a complete psycho. She just really wanted to spend more time with Mack. "Oh, but first, why are you with Alexandria? Honestly? I don't think that I could be with anyone that called me a mudblood. It is just cruel beyond words."

"I am not a girl!" He exclaimed, making his face scrunch up in a pout. Sure, he knew using strawberry shampoo constantly was kind of girly. He blamed his sister for making their parents buy it one time. Once was all he needed to become addicted. He blamed her.
Mack looked at her with his eye brows burrowed. "I don't think having everything planned like I do is necessarily good. I like your idea better. Live each day one at a time. No matter how you came by the philosophy, it's still a good thing." He smiled at her. It was a good thing. Leaves less disappointment that way, he supposed.
"Well me and Phoenix were planning a quidditch day. You said you wanted to fly sometime and mess around. Why not join us?" Mack asked her with a smile, confused by how much he wanted her to join them.
Mack's smile disappeared as he heard her next question. "Uh... I guess I don't know. It's... different with her? She doesn't treat me like some quidditch star. She... I..." Mack stuttered. He honestly didn't know how to answer the question. "I guess I'm not sure why."

Elizabeth smiled. Yes! Mack isn't totally turned off by my freakishness. He actually wants to spend more time with me. "I would love to join you guys. But, I have to warn you, I'll probably be not very good. So, that means that you can't make fun of me, and that also means that you have to take it easy on me. If you don't, I might very well cry, and I'm sure that you don't want another crying mess on your shoulder," Elizabeth teased. "And, who knows? I might another sport that I love. I could give you a run for your money next year."
Elizabeth got a weird feeling when Mack was talking about Alexandria. "I know that I don't have a lot of experience with dating, but shouldn't you know why you are going out with someone? I think it is kind of bad that you don't know. 'She doesn't treat me like a Quidditch star,' is kind of a cop-out. I don't think that I treat you like a Quidditch star, but I don't think that means that you should go out with me just based on that." Elizabeth sighed. "Sorry to pry. I honestly don't mean to be nosy." She slowly disentangled herself from Mack, stood up, and stretched. "Now, I am going to leave you with that to ponder. I am utterly wiped out from my rapidly changing emotions. I'm surprised that I didn't fall asleep on your shoulder. Since I feel like I am going to pass out standing up, I am going to go to bed. I normally get up around nine. If you need me earlier, you know where I am." Elizabeth winked at him and gave Mack a quick hug. "Goodnight, my new friend." She made her way up to her bed to spend the rest of her night dreaming of guys with beautiful blue eyes and blonde hair that just looks like it should have fingers run through it.
