Chase didn't think he had ever been this nervous before. Sure, it was only Brent, but this was their first date. Chade was afraid he would fuck it up somehow, and he didn't want that to happen.
He had grabbed Brent from his office before dinner and after all the classes. Chase had told him to get dressed in muggle clothes and meet him by the gates in fifteen. He didn't tell him where they would be going, only to get ready. Chase had ran up to his room and threw on some dark black jeans and a white button up shirt. Dressy, but not exceedingly so. He had made reservations at a nice restaurant in muggle London. Thinking it'd be a nice break from the end of the year craziness.
He wouldn't answer Brent questions but simply took his hand and apparated a few blocks away from the restaurant. He'd deal with being in the dark for a few more minutes.
Chase looked over at Brent as soon as they had apparated safely. "Excited, Boo?" Chase laughed. Of course he couldn't be when he didn't know what they were doing.

Chase chuckled at Brent. He was just too cute. That pouty face he was giving almost made Chase want to break down and tell him. Almost. "Nope. Not telling. But you're really cute when you make that face, ya know?" Chase winked at Brent as he was staring down at him while Brent was staring up. He leaned down and kissed Brent gently.
"Now trust me." Chase said before starting to drag him down the street and to the restaurant. It wasn't that far of a walk, since Chase apparated fairly close. When they had finally reached the restaurant, Chase decided to give in and tell Brent.
He stopped on the sidewalk outside and turned to look down at Brent. "We, are having our first ever date. Since we haven't yet. I thought tonight would be the perfect night." Chase smirked down at him wickedly. He loved him so much. "Excited now?"

Chase had just let Brent pout. This was too fun. He'd have to do it more often now. Hiding everything from Brent until they had just got to where they were going. It was fun. When Chase had finally told him, Chase couldn't help but smile even bigger. Especially as Brent kissed him. "I love you too. Obviously." Chase smirked before walking into the restaurant with his hand intertwined with Brent's. He didn't care if he got looks.
After Chase walked into the restaurant, he gave them his last name and smiled as the hostess took them to a table in the back, where there wasn't many people. Like he had asked for when he made the reservations. It was a corner booth table. That way Brent and Chase could sit next to each other in the circular booth without it being weird and look awkward.
"I've thought of everything. Tonight is going to be perfect." Chase whispered to Brent as they slid into the booth next to each other. Chase was determined to make that true.

Seeing Brent beam at Chase was the most amazing site in the world. He didn't think he would ever forget this night. Should nothing go wrong like Chase's mind was screaming it would. Chase always had a feeling something good was going to be ruined by something he did. But this was Brent. That meant it was different, right? He sure hoped.
Chase wrapped his arm around Brent's shoulder with a smile and whispered into his ear. "Why haven't we done this earlier?" He chuckled, but backed away a bit when the waitress brought their wine and glasses. Chase had got the most expensive wine he could find. Figuring that it would be good wine, and he didn't care about the price.
Chase smiled at the waitress and said they'd need a minute to look at the menu's. "Order whatever you want, Boo. My treat of course." Chase smiled to his boyfriend sitting next to him.

"Idiotic, really." Chase smirked next to Brent. He was glad he took him out tonight. They needed to do this. Get their first date out of the way. They hadn't really had time to do this before. So it was good they finally were.
Chase laughed at Brent when he said he better not be spending a lot of money on this. Chase was. But he didn't care about it. He had gone and got money out of his inheritance. Something he didn't touch often because he was fine living off what he earned at Hogwarts. So he took out the equivalent to 700 pounds from his Gringotts account this morning before classes had started. He had woke up early so he could do so.
"Don't worry about the money, Boo." Chase smiled. He didn't want Brent to think about how much he was spending on him tonight. He took a sip of his wine, it was worth it.
Chase laughed at Brent. That would so be like him. "I'm having chicken alfredo. You can choose." Chase said with a smirk as he kissed Brent with a laugh. "What about the Curry?" Chase suggested after looked at the menu a bit.

Chase didn't want Brent to make a big deal about him paying for everything that was so expensive, so he was glad when the whatever he said in a grumpy tone was followed by him sticking his tongue out. He was so adorable sometimes, it made Chase lose track of his thoughts often, but he didn't show it often. Even though Brent knew how much Chase loved him, sometimes it was better not to act like some lovestruck person. Even if he was.
Chase laughed at Brent. "All right. I'll take the blame, but this restaurant is supposed to be one of the best that isn't one hundred percent fancy. Which is why I didn't tell you to dress up a lot. Just in muggle clothes. Because it's not too fancy, and therefore can't be too expensive." He told Brent as he pulled him closer. The waitress came back and Chase ordered for them.
"Whatcha thinkin' 'bout?" Chase asked, whispering in Brent's ear.

to." Brent snickered, remembering how he used to always purposely make a fuss over everything whenever he or his family went out somewhere posh for a meal and wind up the waiters and waitresses. And, most importantly, he even managed to get on his parents' nerves too. His smile faltered for a few seconds; if there was any way he could apologise for putting them through such hell during his teenage years then he would. But it was too late now. They were gone. Brent's mind just had to find the worst time to think about these things. "You." he whispered back before pecking Chase on the lips, forcing a smile back onto his face. He could hardly say ' Oh, just my dead parents. Not that they're entirely inappropriate right now'.[/ul]

Of course Brent woild have conplained, that was what Chase loved about his Boo. How crazy he could be sometimes, his little temper, the cute way his eyes twinkle when they're together. Everything about Brent is amazing in Chases eyes.
Chase saw the falter of Brents smile, and then when Brent answered, it didn't seem genuine. Chase always knew when Brent was lying. They had been best friends since they boarded the plane when Chase was eleven and scared. He was terrified of Hogwarts, but Brent made everything better. It made Chase know he wasn't going to be alone and friendless for 7 years. Chase didn't know if he ratted out Brents lie, or just go with it. It was a hard call. Whatever Brent had truly been thinking of must have been something he didn't feel should be shared at the moment. Chase wasn't mad about that. He respected it.
"Good, because you're all I can think of." Chase said, trying to act like he didn't know Brent was lying. He smiled into the kiss Brent gave him. Chase felt like they were perfect. That they were comfortable around each other. They should be, considering they've been friends for so long. "All I see." Chase whispered into Brents ear, kissing his temple right above before putting a trail of kisses down his face, stopping at the corner of his mouth. "All I want to feel." Chase was going to make sure that whatever was truly on Brents mind was going to go away and leave only Chase in the wake.

left Brent's head but Chase right now. He didn't give a damn about being in the middle of some restaurant and probably putting one or two people off their meals. If they didn't like it, then they always had the option to leave, didn't they? He couldn't help but feel a little disappointed that the food had arrived so quickly as a signal that maybe they should eat that instead of each other's faces. "Starving." he smiled back before picking up his cutlery and digging into his curry. He hadn't had a proper meal all day, only a couple of pieces of toast at lunch since he'd slept through breakfast again and hadn't had time to sit down for a proper lunch. He really hated this time of year at Hogwarts, it was as busy as hell.[/ul]
