Chase was exceedingly happy when Reid answered his owl the other day saying he could do something this weekend. Chase missed Reid. He wasn't able to see him as much as he wanted to because of their jobs. He was always busy in London with the Ministry, and Chase was busy at Hogwarts.
But this weekend they could get together. Chase and Reid were meeting in the Hogs Head for lunch and maybe a beer. Chase didn't know if he should drink today. Lately he had been drinking more and more, and he didn't want to end up like his father. But he was wish his friend, and he didn't mind drinking with them. Any of them.
Arriving at the Hogs Head, slightly late himself, Chase grabbed a booth and waited for Reid to walk in the door. Today was going to be a good day, no matter what Chase's life was like. With Brent, School, anything. Today was going to be good. Relaxing.

Reid walked down the road towards the Hogs Head in Hogsmeade. He had gotten an owl from Chase asking if they could get together this weekend. He wasn't able to see Chase, or any of the others for that matter, all that much because of how busy they both were. Most days it seemed like the only reason he left the Ministry was to go home to sleep or to leave on a business trip.
This weekend however, Reid luckily had a weekend off. It was a once in a blue moon thing and he was sure going to enjoy it. This lunch with Chase was one way he planned on doing that.
He looked at his watch and cursed. He was late. He really needed to get better at being on time for things. The guys should know by now though, that didn't happen often.
He walked into the bar and looked for Chase. He knew Chase was here somewhere as he was usually one of the first to arrive when they got together. He spotted him in a booth across the room. Reid walked over and sat across from Chase. "Hey Chase. How are things?"

Chase was happy to see Reid walk through the doors. He was glad he didn't cancel or anything like that. Chase needed this to just relax a bit. Forget about everything that was going on with Brent, and whatever else in his life that was causing him pain.
"Reidy-Weidy!" Chase smiled at him as he sat down, using the nickname him and Brent called him. They didn't think he really liked the nickname. But it was just like Chay-Chay and Boo-Boo, and Hunty. They all didn't like it, but they put up with it because it was from their best friends. At least Chase knew that Reid wouldn't kick him like Brent did.
"What do you say about some lunch? I know this might not be the best place... but I've heard they can have some good food... sometimes." Chase smiled at Reid. This place couldn't be that bad.
