Minna sighed as she tried to make herself believe that James was going to be there for her. It was just a bit hard for her since she had never been in a stable relationship. Hence, she never had a relationship at all. It wasn't because she was picky, it was because of her demands. Though it seemed little to her, she knew that her wishes were not easy.
she smiled at him when he said that they were having Salmon. "Seafood. Perfect. My favorite." she said. She didn't know if he knew she like seafood or because he just instinctively wanted to cook fish. Whatever the reason was, she didn't really care. She was going to enjoy her time with Jaminson Redpaw whether the whole world would go threw a terrible earthquake. She was just going to take a risk now, something she never got to do before.

"Good!" James exclaimed "We're pretty lucky that I was able to get some good salmon then, huh?"
James happily dug into his salmon after serving Minna a peice. Ladies first after all. Chivalry was one of James' strongest traits which made others wonder why he didn't get into Gryffindor. He was the perfect example of one after all.
"So, what do you think? Is it too dry?" James asked worriedly "It was a really last minute thing so I might not have been able to cook it properly. How about the bread? Is that okay?"
James was slightly worried since it had been awhile since he cooked and had dinner with a woman. The last time it happened, he came back home sobbing his heart out to Captain Berry. Then again, life for Jaminson Redpaw was hell when it happened.

Minna smiled at him, trying not to laugh. "Relax, Redpaw. Your salmon is just perfect. And the bread has the right taste to compliment the fish. Everything is fine." she reassured him. Yes, you were indeed lucky to have gotten the salmon... And I'm just as lucky to have met you.
Minna continued to eat her piece with a smile. No man has ever cooked for her. No man of special interest that is. She has friends from the university she went to. In her boarding house which she shared with two other girls and 3 men, the guys would take turns cooking with the girls cleaned and did the laundry.
"Thank you, Jaminson. Sorry to have burnt your ferret and badger's dinner though..." she said and tried to hide the blush that just had to appeare. She didn't know what else to say. She had never had a relationship before so this was all new to her.
