Blake was hiding out on the seventh floor, no one really goes up there. So it just became the only quiet haven he had in Hogwarts. He found his secret spot during his third year. Now, his in his very last and would proceed to a magical university somewhere. He hadn't really thought about what he'd do after Hogwarts yet.

During his stay, he had run into so many people. Facing different types of characters and personalities that would scare any shy wizard or witch. But Blake knew how to handle them. He had a handsome face. He could charm anyone that didn't agree to what he says. Any girl would swoon over him. All except one.

Sophia Blaze Livington, Seventh Year, Slytherin. The only girl that didn't seem to fall head over heels over his devilish looks. He wondered why. She was in his year and had seen her countless times but never had he spoken to her before. But he still thought it was weird that Blaze, as she preferred to be called, was as cold as winter to his charms.

Then Blake smirked, "Good thing that my best quality is never giving up." he told himself. This was his last year and he was determined to make the most of it. And by that, making the cold slytherin fall for him. He was confident he could do it. No girl has ever resisted his charms.

Blaze walked around the whole castle without thinking. She was contemplating on a lot of things the last few days: Alex's relationship with the Gryffindor, being seen smiling and laughing like a normal person by the same person was just too much of her.

Before she knew it, she found herself with the the corridors of the seventh floor. The wide, silent, and deserted hallway seemed calming to her mind that very moment. But as she explored further into the abandoned corridor, it wasn't as deserted as she thought it was.

It was occupied by no other than mr. I-Can-Charm-Any-Girl-I-Pleased. She never liked the guy simply because he knew that he was good looking at that he went around dating almost every girl in Hogwarts who would fall for his so call charm.

"What are you doing here?" she asked out loud, breaking the silence.

Blake turned and saw who it was that was now sharing the empty seventh floor. And to his surprise, it was Blaze. The girl he was just thinking about. "I don't know how in Rowena Ravenclaw's name did she get her but I'm not complaining." he thought to himself and a smirked crept in.

"Well well well... Just the girl that I was thinking about. Sophia Blaze Livington of Slytherin House. The heavens must be on my side today for me to have you alone up here where no one can see or hear anything." he said as he walked closer to where she was standing.

"I have always wanted to talk to you but I was never given the opportunity. Now I think I have it... Tell me, Blaze, why is it that among all the female population in Hogwarts, it is you that hasn't fallen for my charms yet? I'm good looking and definitely charming." he said in his cocky and confident voice.

He really was so into this particular girl because she has not been like the rest of the others.

Blaze's eyes glared at the piece of being that was making its way to her. "You better not get any closer, Parker or I will hex you to the next millennia." she said as she pulled out her wand without hesitation. She didn't want him getting any closer.

When her mind had processed what he was saying, her eyes turned from glare to shocked. Did he just really ask her that?

Blaze sneered, "You really are too full of yourself. Not all girls fall for you because not all of them are stupid and ignorant. But as you said, I'm the only one that hasn't. So, I'm the only decent witch in the school who knows what you really are." she told him.

She didn't mention Alex since she had that lion and she doesn't count as one of the girls who fell for Parker. She knew that anything that came out of his mouth were just sugar coated words of lies.

Blake couldn't believe what she was saying. Did she say that he was full off himself? He was never like that. He just knew that he had the looks that made heads turn. He had received a lot of letters, gifts, and indirect proposals even from other men. And here she was, being cautious of him.

"Why are you so scared of me getting close to you? And I suggest you keep your wand away. You might poke someone's eye out." he said with a smile as he still kept moving closer to her. "By the way, I'm not full of myself. I just know that I have good looks and charm that girls would turn their head to look at me."

"And I agree. You are the only decent witch left here. That is why I have my eyes set on you." Blake told her confidently. "Lastly, you don't know me as well as you think you do, Blaze. But if you like, we can get to know each other so you can say that you really know who I am." he finished as he had stood in front of her.

Blaze was frozen solid. this is why she didn't want the guy near her. He makes her freeze dead in her tracks and loose her mind. But she would never admit it, not to him of all people.

She tucked her wand away, trying not to show how scared she was. "I have nothing to be scared about. And I certainly not have any reason to be scared by the likes of you." she began.

"I have no desire of getting to know you because it won't matter to me whether I know what you hide from people or not. So, why don't you just run along now and find some witch who would actually bow down and do your every bidding."

"Because I'm not the one who would bend over for you." she told him confidently. But she was trying not to look at his lips that looked so enticing. It looked soft from her point of view.

Then Blaze shock the idea away. "Why did I just think that? Salazar help me!" she screamed in her mind.

"Bend over? How I would love to see you do that." he thought and smirked. He turned to her and brought his face close to her and his lips was inches away from hers.

"If I didn't know better, the reason why you don't like me around is because I make you feel all nervous and you freeze when I'm near." he said confidently. Though he wasn't really sure about what he just said, but said it anyway.

Blaze was certainly one of a kind. She wasn't like the other girls he met and she would never be like them. She was superior and smart. Funny in her own way and confident. It was the very reason why he liked her.

"Blaze, I suggest you really get to know me. I promise that you won't regret it and that knowing me would make my plans easier." he told her before he kissed her for a second then stepped away a few feet with a smile of his face.

Before Blaze could react, Blake had already kissed her and moved away. Her eyes were wide as muggle tennis balls. "Did he just kiss me?!" she thought and her mind exploded. His lips were soft! She tired her best not to snap.

"What was that for?! How dare you kiss me, you-- you--. argh!" she couldn't think of anything to say. The kiss still had effects on her mind. How can he have this level of influence over her? This was absurd beyond measure.

Blaze wanted to leave as fast as she could but her body wasn't doing what she wanted it too. She just stood there, still frozen solid as if she was covered in ice. A moment later, she had managed to move.

She huffed and turned around, hoping to get away from him as fast as she could. She knew that she might snap and just hex the guy. "But from what we think, it's not hexing that you might do to him..." her mind told her sneeringly.

Blaze glared at the wall, how can her own mind go against her?

"Was my kiss that bad? I thought that I was a good kisser. But from your reaction, you seem not to think so. Hmmm... I wonder now if I should try again." he smirked. He was trying to egg her own. She was truly different. Usually, girls would have fainted after the kiss. He was that good.

But Blaze was far from fainting. She was mad actually. "Are you stupid? Some girls would act mad when their being kissed by some guy. It's a normal reaction." Blake's mind told him. But Blake knew that it was more that anger that Blaze was feeling. He could sense it.

"Blaze, I swear on my family's name that if you agree to get to know me, I would never again turn to look at any other girl or flirt with them even." he said without thinking. Then a second later, his words hit him, why was he promising her something like this? Was he more into her that he thought?

Blaze was dead confused. Why was he promising her such things? Why did it really matter to this pure blood playboy that she got to know him? She could careless if he would jump off the Astronomy Tower. Blake was nothing more than a playboy.

"If he is what you think, then why are you resisting his proposal of knowing each other? It wouldn't kill you, you know. And... (mental smirk) It would be your chance to show him that your superior than he is when he eats his own words in the end." her mind told her.

Her mind was right, Blake won't last a week without flirting with other girls. Blaze smirked at him, "Alright, Mr.I-won't-flirt-with-anyone. You have one week to prove to me that I am wrong about you. If you fail, you shall announce to the whole school that your a playboy and that you can never be serious with any girl her because their mindless whores who just love the face rather than the person itself." she told him confidently.

He was going to be in for a very very tough week. That she can guarantee.

Blake knew that it was coming. And it did. The re-precautions of his own words have bitten him in the arse. But he couldn't back out now. The stakes were too high and his family name and reputation was at stake. The only thing he could do was bluff. That was his last chance to come out cool and confident still.

He smirked, "Very well then. However, if I do finish the one week, I should have a prize as well. Call it even. If I lose, I'll ruin my own reputation in front of you. But if I win..." He began. Blake knew what he wanted since he met her and that hasn't change over the years.

"If I win... You'll be mine." He told her confidently. He was just going to tough it out. He could let her win. With what she wanted him to do, he was going to lose more than his reputation alone. He was going to lose everything. And Ashton Blake Parker never loses.

Blaze knew he was bluffing. It was written all over his face. He wasn't going to last a week. And his failure will make her year memorable, most definitely. She smirked at him wider. He was making it too easy for her.

"Your week starts tomorrow then, Mr. Parker. Good Luck." she told him with confidence. Blaze was going to enjoy her time, torturing and making sure that Ashton Blake Parker was going to eat his own words and admit to the whole school what he really was.

"But isn't that a bit too harsh? But what if he lasts?" her mind told her. Blaze wasn't worried. She knew what she was doing. "Alright then... If you win, I'll be all yours. Just remember, if you lose, which I know you will, You'll be losing your face, reputation, and whatever charm you have on all the girls here." she reminded him.

Blake smirked at Blaze, "Start getting used to being my girlfriend then because I kow that I would win. I'm looking forward to seeing you attached to my arm soon, Blaze. You should know that when I want something, I would get in, one way or the other."

Blake knew that he would win and he was going to be proud of having Blaze as his own. And she was in for one tough time. He was that confident. He held her chin tenderly and looked into her eyes, "When I win, I hope you would smile gladly and be happy like how happy I would be then." he told her.

Blaze was frozen still once again. Why did he kept doing it to her? Why her of all people? She hated every fiber of Ashton Blake Parker and nothing he says would make her happy if he won. She had to make sure that she was going to win. Her life was at stake. Not to mention she would be his, ugh, girlfriend. She detested the word already.

"Keep dreaming, Parker. That day will never come. So holding your breath will not make you achieve anything. And I will never be yours." she sneered at him and turned her back on him while she could still move. She was trying her best to gather her wits at the same time. He will never get the best of her. NEVER!

She started to walk away, trying to walk as if she wasn't affected by Blake at any degree. "This coming week will be fun!" her mind said. "Your supposed to be on my side? Why are you going against me?" she asked. "I'm just siding with the part of you which whats to be happy. That's all." She sighed. Her own other half was siding with her enemy already.

This made Blake smirk wider. Why was she fighting all his attempts on her? Did she really hate him that much? "You really are one of a kind, Blaze. Only seem to detest everything I do. Especially my attempts of getting close to you." he told her. He backed away a few feet, still smirking.

"You should know, that when I say I want something, I will do everything just to have it. No matter what it takes. And you are worth the effort, Sophia Blaze Livington."
