Chris gave a slight cringe at what Alex said. He knew she'd do it which is why he almost covered his junk. "No worries my beautiful Raven, there will be no repeat performance."
He spent a moment holding her, something which he loved. He looked down and saw the strawberries again. "Now I do believe these were meant for eating. Why don't we get back to them. I know for a fact that they taste amazing." He smiled as he picked one up and held it out for her to eat.

Alex almost laughed as Chris tried to cover his lower region. Then she nodded. She opened her mouth, waiting for him to feed her. The food wasn't going to be wasted and she wasn't going to allow it to just be there as a decoration.
She looked at him and knew that she was happy for once. Genuinely happy for having him here with her. Happy to have him in her life. This was something she didn't expect. And she had to tell him.
She held his face lovingly, "I just want you to know how happy you have truly made me. Because of you, I am genuinely happy now. And I thank you for being part of my life. I wish that you won't give up on me when I'm being cold and mean." she told him as she gave him a hug.
She couldn't help it but her tears came down from her eyes. Tears of joy most likely. Something she had never experience during her growing up years at Hogwarts.

He smiled as she ate the berry from him. He truly liked this girl and hated when he messed things up. He usually wasn't so...stupid...in his actions.
He was practically glowing when she told him how he made her feel. He just wanted to make her happy. That was his goal was to make her as happy as possible and it seemed like he was accomplishing it. "I'm glad that I can do that Alex. I like you a lot and all I want is for you to be happy."
He pulled back from her hug and saw her tears. He wiped them away with his thumb. "Hey now, don't cry. I won't leave you, you can't make me. I will ALWAYS stand by you, no matter what." He kissed her, trying to put as much reassurance in the kiss as possible.

Alex felt Chris' effort in his kiss. he was trying his best and this made her love him more. She pulled away and smiled at him. "I would never dream of pushing you away. Never would I do such a stupid thing." she told him. Then she just placed her head of his chest.
"Can we stay like this? Even just for a little while?" she asked him. She just wanted to be in his arms. Feeling and hearing his heartbeat. It was very calming on her. She loved it. She hoped that time would stop for them.
There was nothing more that she could ask for now. Her thoughts of revenge were all gone now. her love and affection for him had drown out her anger and vengence. She would never dream of hurting him. It would kill her to do it.

Chris tightened his arms around her as she leaned against him. He loved this just as much as she did. "Yes, we can stay like this for as long as you want but maybe we should sit down, it might be more comfortable."
He sat down on the blanket, pulling her down with him. He settled her on his lap, her head on his left shoulder. "There. Now we are comfortable and I can hold you for as long as we want." He kissed her hair and just held her, relishing in the fact that she was in his arms.

Alex was happy to be in Chris' arms. It made her feel safe and whole. She never thought that she'd be that calm and relaxed. Chris felt right. Everything was right with him there. It was like nothing can go wrong as long as he was there with her.
Alex looked up and looked into Chris' eyes, "You are my world now. You have it in the palm of your hand. Please take good care of it. I don't know what I would do if you break it." her voice was sad and hopeful.
She then buried her face in his chest once again. "Though it's too soon, I know in my heart that I love you, Christopher Sutton of Gryffindor." she said with a smile on her face. Then she looked back at him.
"I know that Blaze can be mean and cold, but what's important is we're happy. Blaze will just have to deal it with. If she doesn't like you, then I won't push her to like you. But she'll have to respect you because I love you. And your mine." she told him.

Chris was shocked to hear those words come from her. She loved him? He knew things were going good for them, well when he didn't let his big mouth get in the way. He didn't think she would feel that way after so soon.
Better yet, how did he feel? He knew he liked her, he liked her a lot, but did he love her? The more he thought about it, he did. It was still a little fast for them, but he could say that like her, he was in love.
He looked down at her and kissed her sweetly on the lips. "I love you too Alex. I know we've had our rough patches, but through it all I've come to love you. I will try every day to prove just how much." He kissed her again before placing his chin on her head. He let the peace and quiet of the tower wash over them, enjoying being in each others arms.
