Minna had invited Chase over because she had her own agendas in mind. The fact that she wanted to hear if Chase had caught Brent with Andrew already, how Brent took Maryn's revenge plot, and how no one knows that it was all Minna's doing. She was that good.
She was in her kitchn, preparing something to eat. She had two house elves but she forbid them from making her meals when she wanted to do them herself. The elves were pretty much busy with cleaning the rest of the house and the backyard. Lyra was upstairs, cleaning the rooms while Polaris was cleaning the backyard.
Minna was making sandwiches while waiting for Chase. She had been practicing her innocent smile for the last few days. "I oni nikogda ne znali, chto yaodin za vse..*" she said out loud with a smile. She was indeed cruel and cold.
*And they will never know I was the one behind everything.

Chase was surprised when he got an invite to go over to Minna's house. He knew they were on good terms with each other, but it was still surprising that she had invited him there. But none the less, he accepted the invitation and was now walking toward her house, ready to meet her.
He knocked on the door and waited patiently for her to come and answer it. He was actually kind of excited for this. To hang out with someone other than his three best friends. It would be different, but a nice change from what he was used to. That was for sure. It was weird thinking that he was going to Minna's house though. The very person that he used to hate because she was friends with the girl that had stolen the love of his life. She wasn't as bad as he had originally thought though. She had a soft side.

Minna heard the knock and called Lyra. "Mistress has called Lyra?" asked the elf. "Lyra, be so kind to open the door and lead Chase Jackson here." she told her elf with a smile. The elf looked excited and nodded. "Yes, Mistress. Lyra shall leads Chase Jackson heres to kitchen." the the elf disappeared.
The elf opened the door and bowed, "Welcomes, Chase Jackson, to Mistress' private Manor. Please follow Lyra to the kitchens as the Mistress told Lyra." she told Chase and led him to the kitchen.
Minna just finished making the sandwiches when they came into the kitchen. "Lyra has brought chase Jackson, Mistress. Lyra has been obiedient." she said with a smile. Minna smiled and nodded. "Yes, Lyra. you have been obedient. You'll have your reward tonight." she said and the elf bowed and disappeared, leaving Minna and Chase.
"Hi, welcome to my house. I hope you didn't have any trouble coming here." she asked with a smile. "Please have a seat, Chase." she pointed at a seat across her.

Chase smiled at the house elf that answered the door. And mumbled a thanks. He didn't hate people who had house elves necessarily, but he didn't think he could ever have one. His love for any kind of animals forbade that. His mind simply wouldn't let him. That was for sure.
Lyra the House Elf took Chase to the kitchen, where Minna was. "Hey, Minna. How're you?" Chase said as he listened to her and took a seat across from her. "No trouble at all." He smiled friendly. Chase thought it was weird he didn't think it was weird he was sitting in the kitchen with her. Shouldn't he not be doing this? Shouldn't this be weird? Oh well.
"So why did you invite me here, Minna? I was surprised when I received your invitation. It was kind of out of the blue, isn't it?" Sure, they were friends. He just hadn't expected it.

Minna knew that Chase would really be thinking that it was indeed weird that he was there because she asked him to be there. "Well, since it's the weekend, I thought it would be a good idea to have a chat again. You know, just to catch up on work and stuff. Maryn hasn't been around lately so, I have no one else to talk to." she said and tried to be shy about it.
"I don't want to stay at the castle since Turner keeps popping up everywhere I go and Vladimir is just as strange all the way to Sunday. Did you know that he was in our year? He knows Maryn, Brent and you. It was weird. i didn't even know he was at Hogwarts." she told him as she summoned two glasses of iced tea.

Chase smiled. "That's fine. I was just surprised. Obviously I don't mind, as I came." Chase chuckled a bit. Then he heard what she said next. About Vlad. He wasn't in their year... was he? No. That couldn't be it. Vlad hadn't said anything to Chase before. He would have mentioned it, wouldn't he? Yeah. Of course.
"Are you positive? I don't remember him in our year." Chase said with a confused look on his face. That was weird. Really weird. "I ran into him in the Staff Room one morning. With Brent. Uh. It didn't go too well. Brent ended up storming out. You know him..." Chase said like that should explain everything. "As for Turner, I haven't really talked to him, but Brent has, and Brent didn't like him. But then again, Brent doesn't like many people." Chase said with a sad smile. He loved Brent, but he really didn't have patience with anyone, and had a short temper. It made him adorable though.
OOC: Are we making this after Chase found them kissing, or before?

Minna nodded at Chase. "I'm positive. He said so himself. He was in our year but I don't remember him saying which house he belonged to. He knew Maryn, you, me, and Brent were in the same year so that's enough proof that he was indeed in our year." she told him.
"But I really can't recall him at all. But then again, back then, I wasn't on the front lines promoting inter-house unity, was I? Maryn may have but I asked her and she said she didn't remember him as well." she added and gave Chase a sandwich. Then she raised an eye brow.
"What can possible make McKinney dislike Vlad? He seemed like a nice guy when I met him during breakfast one morning." she asked. "Though I found him a bit scary for knowing a few things about me during my time her as a student, he didn't seem harmful at all." she added as she took a bite of her own sandwich.
OOC: Definitely after the kissing incident ^_^]

Chase thought for a minute. "No... I'm sure I would have remembered that. If he was in our year. I'm positive of that." Chase had talked to lots of people from other houses. He would have remembered him. He was sure of it. There would have been rumors about his ability. They all would have heard about it.
Chase took the sandwich she offered with a polite smile and a mumbled thanks. He was still hurting on the inside because of what Brent did, but that didn't mean he couldn't fake smiles every so often. "How much do you know about Vlad? Like... did he blank out for a moment?" Chase didn't want to be the one to tell Minna about his ability, but that might explain how he knew so much about them... and then he tried covering it up by him saying he had been in their year. It wouldn't make sense though.
"Brent uh... he just.." Chase didn't know how to say it without giving Vlad away, so he changed tactics, even if this made him explain what happened between him and Brent. "Can we not talk about Brent? Can we talk about anything but him?" He gave her a pleading glance, showing her that something was wrong between them, hoping to get away from the topic of Vlad... he really didn't want to rat out his ability.

Minna could feeling the aura around Chase, it was depressing and strangely entertaining. He was actually pleading with his eyes and tone. Andrew must have done something really great to have hurt Chase this bad. She sighed.
"Alright, we'll not talk about MacKinney then. Despite my curiousity as to why you won't want to tactually talk about him, I won't ask. I'll wait for you to tell me. If you ever get to tell me." she told him and smiled as she squeezed his hand softly.
"Back to MacArthur, I am positive he said he was in our year. Though I do not know anything about him though. I have a theory that he was from Hufflepuff seeing as how shy and perky he was when I met him." she told Chase as she took a sip of her juice.
She poured him a glass and placed it next to his plate. "How much do I know about Vlad? Hmmmm... I know nothing of him next to knowing how ungrateful and an arse McKinney is." she told him and hissed.
"I hexed him a few nights ago when we ran into each other... Errr.. I was actually hiding in his choir room because it felt nice and calming. But he just had to show up and being a woman sucks!" she explained. "I didn't mean to but I actually cried and he was as comforting as a rock. He even laughed at me for crying! Ugh! I petrified him and left." she crossed her arms.
"I don't know who un-petrified him and I hoped he was there for an hour or two. That would have been alright." she finished. "I'm sorry about what I did. He was just... Mean." she said.

Chase just kind of ignored Minna's comment about him telling her about what happened with Brent. It wasn't her business and he really didn't want to talk about him, like he said.
It seemed like Minna didn't know anything about Vlad's... ability. So it was possible that he had just played off whatever he knew as that. Chase decided not to rat him out. It wouldn't be fair to him. "Yeah. He could have been a Hufflepuff. I didn't have many Puff friends either. Mainly Gryffindor and Ravenclaw."
Chase just gave up the conversation and took a bite of his sandwich. This was weird. He didn't think he would ever become sort of friends with Minna. Yet here he was. Sitting down with her having a civil conversation with her and -. Did she just say she hexed Brent...
"What?! You petrified him!" Chase asked her. "He never told me anything about that..."

Minna nodded, "Yes, definitely a Hufflepuff. But I just can't recall him at all. I must have at least one class with him from our first year down to our seventh year, right?" she asked Chase. She just couldn't really his name in her head. But then again, she didn't really care. Vlad will be a tool and nothing more.
Minna sighed this time, "Well, I'm sure he wouldn't say anything because it was he damned fault why I hexed him in the first place. I wan trying to be nice to him, Chase. But he was such an arse and was as comforting as a rock!" she told him with a fume.
"He even laughed at me and thought that i was doing some evil plot and the rot. Ugh! You should have heard what he said to me Chase. he was just so.. Insensitive! Laughing at a teary eyed woman is not comforting!" she added.

Chase thought for a second. "Yeah. Every house had a class with all of the other houses in their years. That doesn't make sense though. Surely we would have remembered his face." Chase was still keeping the facade going. He wasn't going to rat out Vlad. Or... he was going to try not to.
Chase took a deep sigh before grabbing Minna's hand, lacing his fingers through hers. "I'm sorry he was like that. But that's just Brent. He's different than most people are. He doesn't seem like he has a heart... I know." Chase said with another sigh. "But he has probably one of the biggest hearts I've ever come across. It just worked in a different way than most people's hearts. That's all." Chase gave Minna a small smile. As much as he could muster when he had just talked about Brent. Chase hadn't even thought about what he just told Minna. Brent had a big heart. He would have never hurt Chase if he could have helped it. Maybe it wasn't his fault.
No. He was still found kissing someone else. That isn't right.

Minna gave Chase an encouraging smile. He seem to need it. And she was feeling a tiny sting of guilt for being the very reason why Chase was hurt now. Since she began talking to Chase, Minna had looked at him in a different light. He wasn't so bad as she thought he was.
"Let's go back to Vlad here. As I was saying, if you don't remember him too, was he really telling me the truth or was he just saying it to make conversation?" she asked him which was making her think how dangerous Vlad was starting to be.
Minna was starting think that Vlad was hiding something. "You know what, if I didn't know better, I'd start to think that Vladimir MacArthur is hiding something." she told him as she leaned back on her chair.[/size]

Chase's mouth was starting to get dry, just like it always did when he got nervous and was hiding something. He was horrible at lying when his life didn't depend on it. "I don't know? He could have... uh. Been one of those kids that sat in the back of the room and didn't say anything..." Chase told her, not making eye contact.
"Why would you think he's hiding something? That's not... no. He's not uh. Hiding something. Not at all." Chase didn't like lying. He was horrible at it. Why the fuck did he have to know about Vlad's ability... he was the wrong person to know! For fucks sake. "I don't know anything." Chase mumbled quietly and quickly. If that wasn't fucking obvious, his name wasn't Chase Jackson. He was hopeless.

Without seconds thoughts, Minna saw Chase look like he was in the edge of saying something about Vlad that she didn't know about. "Is there something you want to share with me, Chase?" she instantly said as she placed down her cup. Since they were students, Chase was one person who she considered a bad liar. He could never keep something so valuable when placed in a tough situation. And this was a tough situation.
"Come on, Chase. I know you know something about Vlad and you are still a very bad liar. Since when we were students up 'til now. That's one trait that you never got to change." she told him frankly. Minna wanted to know why Chase was being so nervous about. And she was sure that it had to be about Vlad and what he was hiding.
