Chase had gone to ask Brent to go out for a drink after dinner at lunch, but he couldn't find Brent in his office and he didn't have much time, so instead he left a note telling Brent to meet him at the Broomsticks at nine. Signed of course with a Yours Truly.
It seemed like the fay went slow after that. Chase and Brent didn't always get to see each other, and today was one of Chase's busiest days when classes were involved. Normally he only had one or two classes a day. Today he had 3. And he had students come ask him for help. Mostly fifth years trying to prepare for OWLS. The summer holiday was coming up thought.
Those things, however weren't on Chase's mind. Brent was. Ever since he had agreed to marry Chase, they hadn't talked. Chase had a lot of questions, and knew they needed to talk about the wedding. When they were going to have it, those kinds of things. He also might need to tell him that he agreed to have Alex plan their Stag Night.

. How could he be any happier? It wasn't until just before nine o'clock that Brent actually spotted the note on his desk. With just one glance, he instantly recognised the handwriting to be Chase's, not that he wouldn't be able to tell just from the note's content... A short while later, Brent swiftly entered the Three Broomsticks, his dark hair sticking up at odd angles, caught by the wind as he'd rushed down here. He'd still been far from making it on time though. Once he'd spotted Chase, Brent walked briskly over to his table before leaning his hands on it, finally stopping to catch his breath and sending his fiancé a sheepish grin. "Sorry, Chay. I only just saw your note." he chuckled breathlessly, keeping his eyes fixed on Chase, and he didn't ever want too look away.[/ul]

Chase told the waitress to bring him two glasses of butterbeer. He'd have them change it if Brent wanted something stronger. He wasn't sure. Brent probably would want something stronger, but since it was a school night, he wasn't sure if he would want something strong.
Just after he had ordered, Chase saw Brent walk through the door, adorable as ever. He wasn't that late. "It's alright." Chase smiled, laughing slightly. "I'm likin' the messy hair look on you. I don't see it that often." Chase smiled before moving into the booth more so Brent could sit next to him instead of opposite of him.
"I ordered us butterbeers. But I can change yours if you want something stronger." Chase smiled widely at his fiancee. "I wasn't sure if you wanted to drink anything strong on a week night." Chase chuckled, knowing Brent normally drank anyways.

Chase laughed at Brent as he tried to fix his hair. He was so cute sometimes. Always caring about his hair and what not. It was adorable, actually. Especially that Brent eventually gave up on his hair and sat down next to Chase. Grabbing his hand and putting his head on chase's shoulder in the process. "Someone's all lovely today." Chase smirked and squeezed his Fiancee's hand lovingly.
"Good." Chase said with a smile as he felt the tingling feeling where Brent had kissed his cheek. "I missed you today, so I figured it'd be nice to get away again. Just think. The school year's almost done." Chase said with a smile as the waitress put the drinks on the table. Chase mumbled a thanks without really looking her way. "And I figured we kind of have a lot to talk about since you said you'd marry me and then seduced me in the park." Chase smirked widely at Brent.

Chase just laughed as Brent tried to kick him. It wasn't hard, and didn't even hurt Chase. He was starting to get used to Brent kicking him. Chase smiled at his fiancee. "So long." he whispered before leaning down to kiss him gently. A welcome kiss, if nothing else. Nothing that lasted very long.
"No more mornings." Chase laughed. "Which leads me to question number one. We're moving in together now. Obviously." Chase rolled his eyes like that was obvious. "So which house do we want? Mine is big enough... but well. There are memories I don't like reliving." Chase finished in a small voice. Brent knew what he was talking about of course. "I'm not suure if you want to stay in yours either. I was thinking we could buy a house." Chase told him with a smirk. "Our own home." Chase said before leaning in and nudging the side of Brent's face with his nose.
"And when do we want the wedding?"

Chase smiled at Brent. Sometimes Chase wondered how he ever got someone as amazing as Brent. He was just too perfect. "Yeah. I'll put it for sale tomorrow. I'll make some calls and get it on the market. Then I'll start looking for our home. I want some where quiet. Peaceful. How about in the country? Where no one else is. Just us." Chase asked him, kissing his jaw gently.
"I'll make sure to look at the weather before we make a date. And I think the beach sounds amazing. So romantic. Should we plan for Late July or early August?" Chase smiled against Brent's cheek before pulling away from him to look at him seriously. He had been afraid to bring this up. But he needed to.
"I think now that we're getting married... we need to take Tommy in, Boo. He's your brother. And we can't just let him live in a home." Chase told him. "And... since... since we well. Can't have kids. Maybe..." Chase stopped and closed his eyes. "Maybe we could adopt a baby of our own." Chase looked at Brent and waited for him to answer.

too perfect for his own good, that man. Not that Brent minded at all. "And I'd say late July. The sooner the better." Any traces of a smile left Brent's face at the mention of Tommy. "I-I know what you're saying. Living in a place like that isn't nice but... I can't... I'll end up making things worse for him somehow. An-what? Did you just say baby?" Brent stared at Chase in horror. "No! I'll end up murdering the poor thing!" he shouted, fully serious.[/ul]

Chase smiled widely as Brent agreed to a house in the country, he was glad that he seemed to want something that excluded too. Chase wasn't going to tel him that his plan was to have horses. He didn't need to know that yet. He'd get there when they got the house.
Chase knew that Brent was afraid of not being able to take care of Tommy, and therefore the baby if they got one. Chase took the hand that wasn't intertwined in Brents and brought it up to rest on his cheek. "Brent. You're not giving yourself enough credit. I think you would be an amazing dad. And it's not like I would just leave you to figure it out by yourself. I'd be there with you the entire way. And Tommy wouldn't need much. He's a grown boy now." Chase made sure to look into Brent's eyes the entire time. He wanted to make sure that Brent knew he meant what he was saying.
"Don't you think it would be amazing if we could have our own little boy or girl to call our own, Brent?" Chase gave him the cutest puppy dog eyes he could manage.

Chase wanted Brent to feel like he could raise a child and not worry about killing it or that he wouldn't be a good father. Chase knew that Brent would be in a heartbeat. Brent had a big heart, Chase knew that firsthand. He just didn't see it. "Brent, you have a big heart. I don't think you'd let anything happen to a baby." Chase followed Brent's eyes down to their intertwined hands. They were perfectly fitted together.
"You won't mess up. You were afraid you were going to mess up our relationship, and look where it got us. We're getting married." Chase told him, still half keeping a puppy dog look at him. "Just think about it. We could have our own little baby. We don't have to adopt an infant if you don't want to. We can adopt one a little older. I just want someone that's going to be ours. You won't mess this up. We're in it together."

want something to work out, most of the time it didn't. He just blamed it on just how much of an unlucky person he was. "I know but what if I end up doing something accidentally? And you're telling me we've got this far without any major mess ups on my behalf?" he sighed, biting his down on his lip. "I dunno if it'll work out, as much as I want it too." Brent muttered. The chance to be a father, it was something he'd wanted for a long time. But when he was actually faced with the option of doing so, it suddenly didn't seem like it would be as easy as he had imagined.[/ul]

Chase moved his fingers soothingly on Brent's cheek where his hand was resting. He wanted Brent to realize that he wouldn't mess this up like he thought he would. Chase wanted their own baby. He wanted to hold her, and cuddle her. Brent wanted that too. Chase knew he did. It was just his insecurities that were holding them back.
"No. You haven't messed up majorly. If you had, we wouldn't be here right now." Chase whispered, getting closer to Brent's face than what he meant to. Brent could probably feel Chase's breath on his lips. "I'll never leave your side Brent. You wouldn't have a chance to mess it up. You wouldn't of course. But if you're that worried, just picture me next to you. Because that's where I'll be for the rest of your life." Chase meant it. He never planned on letting Brent go. Never. Not now after he finally got him.
