Tommy had just been playing around in his room, messing around with some dinosaur toys of his. It had generally been quite a slow day, and he was boreddddddddddddd.
Now if only Tommy were at Hogwarts, he would be running around, looking for secret passages and making fun of Slytherins with funny accents. But no, he was stuck at home with nothing to do except play with his toys. And he'd played the same game so many times already! He wanted to jump around, have fun, maybe go outside to breathe a bit of fresh air. Honestly, he was going stir-crazy from being locked in the house.
Tommy threw his toys down on the floor and flopped on his bed. Bored, bored, bored, bored, boreddddd.

. Brent still had that small part of his mind convincing himself that Tommy hadn't done anything completely idiotic. He hoped it was right. He poked his head around Tommy's bedroom door slowly, peering around. "Wow. You haven't destroyed anything. That's awesome." he sighed in relief, a grin spreading across his features, "And why aren't you running around being hyper or whatever you normally do, huh?"[/ul]

Tommy frowned a little at Brent's wayy-too-relieved tone about him not having had destroyed everything. But then he shrugged it off, because at least now he had something to do-- bug Brent. He was really bored, anyway, and bugging Brent sounded fun at least to a minimal extent.
"Brent! I'm bored. Bored. Bored. Bored. Bored. And I broke some of my dinosaur toys does that count as destroying stuff. I don't always-- okay fine maybe but I'm not that bad! And I'm just bored. Bored. I'm too bored to be hyper. Too bored to do anything. BORED." Tommy rambled off, kicking his legs in the air and being, generally, quite bored.
He supposed that it was just one of those days where the boredom kicked in so badly that even being hyper and sugary and dinosaur-y wouldn't help it. And he really wanted to go back to Hogwarts, because he'd be able to at least explore there. He'd explored the entirety of the house at least 3 times already, and it didn't even have any secret passages-- how boring. Bored.

"The dinosaurs were having a fight with the robots, like they were the dark side and the biggest robot was Voldemort and the dinosaurs were the light and the Order and the T-Rex was Harry Potter! And Harry Potter won but almost died and then that's why he's so badly injured and I was bored and I tried a spell on them but it failed and they all kind of exploded. I don't know," Tommy explained. "Maybe I said it wrong. And now I don't even have dinosaur toys to play with and I'm bored."
Tommy frowned a bit when Brent offered to play with him. Not that he wasn't happy that Brent wanted to play, oh no, but what with Rose and all, Brent should be taking care of the baby right now. But then again, Tommy wasn't going to look a gift horse in the mouth. "Ice cream!" Tommy exclaimed, jumping up from his spot on the bed. "Ice cream ice cream ice cream! Er, chocolate ice cream! Andddd could you fix my toys for me? Please? Then we could play together!"

Tommy figured that Brent had probably started spacing out halfway through his ramble, but whatever, at least he was listening and if he'd say yes then he'd get his chocolate ice cream and that would be absolutely delightful. "YAYYYYY! Thanks, Brent! You're the best big brother ever!" And with that, Tommy sort-of-not-really-ah-what-the-heck-yes-he-did launched himself onto Brent, clinging onto him and snuggling into him. He didn't really know what had sparked it, but whatever, Brent was being awesome. Brent was awesome. And the best big brother ever. Life was awesome.
Tommy then jumped off, gathered practically all of his toys into his arms, and handed them to Brent. "These need fixing." He nodded solemnly, or at least as solemnly as Tommy could. "And the rest need cleaning. I kind of got some weird icky gooey stuff over them, I don't really know how, but I tried cleaning them with a tissue and it didn't work and when I tried with soap it didn't work. So now there's also soap on the carpet. And some of the icky gooey stuff is also there. And I'll clean the ice cream up, promise! I'll lick it off the floor if I have to. Really!"
He grinned and grabbed the entire tub of ice cream, wolfing it all down and getting a lot of it all over the bed/room/Brent. He'd clean it up later. Right now, the most important thing was the ultimate enjoyment of his ice cream.

all your toys for you." Brent grumbled. Really, he was making sure never to leave Tommy unsupervised again if he was going to cause this much trouble. Brent was beginning on cleaning and fixing Tommy's toys (using magic, of course) when something brown splatted on his glasses before dripping down his cheek. It was then when he noticed that Tommy had gotten chocolate ice cream everywhere. "Tommy!" Brent screeched, wiping the ice cream off his face and glasses, "Clean it up! Clean it all up!"[/ul]

Tommy laughed a little at Brent's very effective impersonation of some bird. A parrot, most likely, what with the way that he kept screeching at him to clean everything up. But, oh well, Tommy supposed that he had to clean it up (or face not ever getting ice cream from Brent. Ever again. And he couldn't possibly live with that!) Sighing, he finished the last of his ice cream and got down on his hands and knees to examine the goop and maybe figure out how to get it all out. Soap didn't work... but maybe fire would.
Since Tommy wasn't of age yet, he couldn't just set the carpet on fire using his wand. He could try sneaking Brent's wand, of course, but that probably wouldn't work either, seeing as to the fact that Brent would almost definitely stop him. But then Tommy got a great idea. Running to his dresser-drawer, he grabbed a muggle lighter and tried to start a fire.
He failed terribly.

now!" Brent shouted. He had heard a lighter. What was Tommy trying to do? Set fire to his carpet or something? And... why the hell did Tommy have a lighter in the first place?[/ul]

Tommy froze in place when Brent yelled at him to put the lighter down. But... Brent had told him to clean up the mess! And the mess was... and he had to... it's not like he knew any other way that might get the goop out!
And the lighter had been successfully lighted when Brent had told Tommy to put the lighter down, and the flame that had come out had been hot, so he had dropped it and... oops? Well, at least it was cleaning the goop up.
Then, Tommy glanced at his older brother's face, and he looked really, really pissed off. Double oops. He only hoped that he wouldn't get into too much trouble for this.
