Andrey drowsily padded out of the Hufflepuff's common room, his blond hair betraying his laziness. The 5th year was not a morning person and was extremely grumpy whenever he first woke up. However, it only took him his daily morning routine to get him out of his early morning state but, this morning, he hadn't got time this morning to complete it thanks to his rather annoying House mates.
"They really are idiots. So what if one of the Gryffindors crashed at our place? Last night was pretty crazy..." Andrey mused on last night's almost end of year party, his light blue eyes glittering with amusement, complimenting the small smirk forming on his mouth. "But really. As long as the two of them weren't doing the dirty I'm fine with anyone crashing the Hufflepuff common room."
As Andrey was savoring a yawn, his cat, a graceful yet rather large Russian Blue named Maya, leapt into his arms with a happy purr. It looked like his feline companion had missed him last night and was now trying to make up for lost time.

Alexis was passing by when he saw a Hufflepuff coming out of their common room. She smile since she found him adorable with messy hair. "Good morning." she called out as she stopped a few feet away from him. She had books in her arms since her book bag had phials in them.
She had seen the boy around but hadn't had a chance to say hi and just be nice. She was into inter-house relation and wanted to make a difference in her last year. "I heard you Hufflepuff's had a party last night. Too bad I wasn't able to go..." she said with a smile.
"I'm Alexis by the way. Alex for short. You are? she asked.

"Yeah... We had a party last night. It was pretty hectic though. one of the 7th years gave the 1st years some firewhisky and... Yeah. Need I explain any further?" Andrey sighed at the stupidity of housemates as he gave Maya's ears a scratch. Honestly... Hufflepuffs could be extremely crazy if they wanted to. Their parties were proof of that. "I'm sure you can make it to another one of our parties. A sixth year is planning one for tomorrow night. Anyway, my name's Andrey. Andrey Johnson."
Andrey forced himself to give a smile. Good appearances were important to anyone he first met. After all, he was the son of the owners of the Magical Theater. A theater strictly for anyone of the magical community. That was where the blond haired boy had grew up with his twin brother, Caleb. However, Caleb and Andrey did not look alike at all. Caleb had ginger hair and light brown eyes while Andrey had messy blond hair and light blue eyes.

Alexis liked this boy. He was adorable. "I doubt I'll be able to attend your parties since I'm not a Hufflepuff and I don't know anyone from your house. Except you, now..." she said with a chuckle. "And no, no need for any further explanation." she added.
"You seem familiar. I know I've seen you somewhere before but I just can't remember where. It's not here since I know I've seen you but outside the castle and outside Hogsmeade." she said as she studied his face. He was really familiar.
"Anyway, were you heading somewhere? I might have taken up too much of your time. Sorry about that." she said apologetically and bowed lightly.

"Pfft..." Andrey tried to hold in his laughter as she said that she didn't think she'd be able to attend the parties just because she wasn't a Puff. "Ahh... We Hufflepuffs don't care who attends as long as someone does. All of the houses have attended our parties. In fact, a lion had crashed our place this morning. So, as you can see, all people of all houses and all years are welcome to join in."
He spoke of his house with pride, everything he spoke true. Though there was a lot of ruckus thanks to that lil' lion sleepover he knew that his fellow badgers didn't mind.
"Well, if you've ever gone to the Magical Theater than I'm sure you've seen me. My parents own and run the place with my brother. I've acted on stage in small roles a few times before." Andrey smirked a bit as he thought of his brother who was probably still asleep. "No, I'm not heading anywhere specific. I was just planning to walk around until breakfast starts."

Alexis smiled again. "So that's where I saw you. I knew you were familiar." she said and laughed a little. "Well, I don't regularly attend parties that I'm not invited too." she said and shrugged. Then she looked back at him.
"So, you wouldn't mind walking around with me until the elves serve breakfast? I'm heading to the Great Hall anyway." she told him with a smile.
She had nowhere else to go anyway. And she didn't know what time Chris was coming down for breakfast.

"Sure. I don't mind." the male Hufflepuff replied nonchalantly, petting Maya's soft blue fur. He always kept her in good shape and took such pains to keep her coat soft and clean. "Hmm.... If I may ask, what play did you see when you went to the theater?"
The boy had asked this question in hope of receiving some suggestions and feedback on what the theater should show or change about their performances. His mom and dad, though both were professional actors and directors, kept asking for feedback and comments from their sons. After Maya and Ray Johnson had their sons they realized that it was possible to bring theater to the young ones of the Magical community and they've been trying to do so. Andrey always tried to help them out by asking for comments and suggestions from any students at Hogwarts who had seen at least one of their performances.

Alex just smiled. "Hmmm... I don't really remember the title nor the play itself. My cousin, Blaze, was pestering me about something that we barely watched the show itself." she said honestly and sighed. "However, it was really good. My parents said that the actors really brought out the true characteristics of the characters they were portraying." she said with a smile.
"I just wish I had watched more carefully though. I barely understood them when they were talking about it during dinner after the show." she told him. "Anyway, do you really like what your doing? Doing theater and all?" Alex asked him. She had never thought of herself as an actress even.

Andrey listened carefully, his light blue eyes concentrated and serious. He gave a little frown as Alex said she didn't pay much attention. The actors never really appreciated an audience who didn't pay much attention. Especially if they were in the front row. It was extremely distracting for them. These actors were actors who would preform even if only one person came to see their show so of course they'd be a little upset if some members of the audience weren't paying much attention. But, what could you do?
"Well... I've been doing it for a long time now. My parents even put me and Caleb on stage when we were just babies." Andrey answered with a slight smirk. "So, yeah. I enjoy it. I don't think it's what I want to do for the rest of my life but it's fun. Also, it made my family closer. Especially me and my brother."

Luckily, Alex and Blaze weren't in the front row when they were at the theater. that made Alex heave a sigh of relief. "Well, its nice that your parents are on the same page when it comes to the well being of their children. For them to expose you to such a creative world at a young age is a sight to behold." she complimented his parents.
then she looked at him, "You have a brother? Is he also studying here?" she asked him. she was merely curious about Andrey and his theater life. "I for one think that being an actor is fun but not something that should be done for the rest of their lives." she said with a thoughtful look.
then she smiled at Andrey, "But you know what, I think you and your brother might have looked very adorable and charming when you were babies." she said and flashed a white smile.

Andrey took a few moments to process all the information and questions the Seventh year had said then took a few more seconds to think of an appropriate reply. "Really... Too much thinking in the morning is bad for me..." he thought.
"They're pretty good parents... And it's not like they really had a choice cuz we kinda live at the theater." Andrey chuckled awkwardly. Not many people knew that the theater also counted as a home for a good handful of the actors. "Oh, an yes I have a brother. His name is Caleb. No, he does not study here because he doesn't have magic. I'm a halfblood and I got the magic from my dad, Caleb didn't. Well... People do it. My mom does it and I think Caleb plans on doing it. They love it so much that they want to dedicate their whole lives to theater but I, on the other hand, have other interests that I'd like to pursue. That's the only reason why I'm deciding not to act for all my life. And thank you I suppose."

Alex just smiled. "It's a shame that your brother didn't get magic. But in some sense, its better too. At least he doesn't have to experience the hardships of being a wizard or witch in training." she told him. "If I were given the chance to have either been born with magic or not, I think I'd choose being born without magic, sometimes." she added.
"Then again, with the family I am born in, I don't think being born without magic will be a good sign of family breeding." she sighed. "I have nothing wrong against half bloods. Your still humans like me. It's just that, the higher the family status, the more pressure it is on the children to surpass their parents." she said.
"You're lucky that you have plans on your own and that you already have a goal. As for me, my plans have already been laid out even more I could walk." Alex looked saddened. She was starting to envy Andrey a little.

Makar had woken up extremely early but that wasn't anything new nowadays. Sometimes, he only slept for 30 minutes to an hour but today he managed to get in 4 hours of sleep, sleeping at midnight and waking up at four in the morning. He had just been walking around the castle the whole entire time and now he noticed 2 people. The 6th year recognized them both. Alex, who was dating someone from his house, and Andrey, someone he hanged out with from time to time.
"Morning Alex, Andrey." Makar greeted the Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff. "How was the party last night Andrey? Oh, and how are you Alex?"
Recently, Makar had been treating people with more courtesy but that was kind of thanks to Gabbie's death. His feelings were numbed and he didn't really think too much. He didn't act like himself as much as well but I guess that's what grief does to you...
