Rayne didn't like asking people for help. She hated it, honestly. She thought about going to see if she could find Phoenix and ask for help, but she thought it might be better if she just went right to the teacher who assigned it. She didn't know what the fuck to write about this stupid Vampire and Werewolf essay thing he assigned.
When Rayne finally reached her Defense Against the Dark Arts room she knocked once before pushing the door open. "P-professor?" She stuttered, afraid her professor was in a bad mood like he normally was.
"I... I wanted to ask you for some help on the assignment you gave us. I'm not entirely sure what you want us to write about these two creatures." She admitted honestly, biting the inside of her cheek to stop her fear. She was afraid he was going to yell at her for some random reason.

[/i] mood. Him and Chase were engaged, and Brent was almost certain his second marriage would beat his personal best of six months together. He hoped that it would last this time. But, then again, his relationship with Chase was a lot stronger than any sort of one he'd ever had with Maryn. "Hmm?" Brent mumbled, turning his head towards the door as he heard someone knock on it. He saw a nervous-looking Rayne Teagan, who was in his sixth year NEWT DADA class who clearly hadn't been listening properly when he'd explained what to do for the assignment, either that or he hadn't explained it properly. But then wouldn't more people have come to ask about it? Well, they probably wouldn't have the guts to, Brent reasoned with his mind. "Sure, come on it." he beamed at her. "You're meant to write the seven most dangerous features of each and then explain what would be the best method of defence against each of the seven features and why you think that. Then sum it up with which creature you think is the most dangerous."[/color][/ul]

Rayne was shocked to see Brent actually smile at her when she entered the room. He was going to help her? Was he feeling alright? Maybe he was sick. Yeah... surely that was it. Rayne entered the room further now that she had permission and smiled back at him unsurely, listening to what he was saying.
After listening to what Brent said about the essay, Rayne decided that she should have paid attention more in class instead of day dreaming about Phoenix. She didn't have him in her class, so she thought about him instead. She couldn't understand why she was so crazy about him. Well... she could. He was perfect in every way.
"Right.... that makes more sense. And... what would you say the more dangerous creature is?" Rayne asked with a hopeful smile. She didn't know how to tell which was more dangerous. She wasn't very good at Defense Against The Dark Arts in general. It was one of her worst classes.
