Nadia skulked about the corridor not really sure who or what or why she was doing so. She had made up her mind what seemed ages ago in the common room but had lost track of reason about the time she reached the fourth floor. Initially she had planned to go up all the way to the seventh floor, where she knew the come and go room was, but had grown tired nearing the fifth floor.
She didn't want to be seen though, she was due in her next class in approximately five minutes, which was all the way down in the second floor. Nadia shuddered to think what her father might say if he found out she was thinking about (and probably would) miss class. "Shaming the name of our family" he'd say, "stupid and arrogant as ever" he'd say, Cormac McLaggen had grown more scornful after his wife had died, especially to his daughter.
The sound of thudding footfalls broke Nadia out of her reverie, and prompted her to hide quickly behind a statue.

Scorpius, to be completely and utterly honest, hated Arithmancy, he displayed enough enthusiasm in classes (however fake), and that was enough for his mother. The numbers made little to no sense to him, it didn't help that he didn't understand why they were needed either, they were pointless, which was why he was dawdling, so he could postpone his most hated class for as long as he could.
A sound of scuffling feet drew his attention. Scorpius frowned. Statues didn't make noises. Nor did wands stick out of an obviously re - Scorpius rolled his eyes.
"I know you're there."
Scorpius drew his wand just in case something should happen, something unpleasant, it didn't hurt to be cautious.

Nadia was quick about it, attacking Scorpius that is, she sent a stunning spell his way (hoping it would hit its target), and waited with bated breath for the thud that told her she had succeeded.

Scorpius had only a second or so to react before the blinding light consumed him. Just before he felt consciousness being swept away from him he wondered if he was dying, and as his body was falling to the ground he thought that it didn't feel like dying.

The thud came, but it was too loud. Nadia cursed under her breath, if someone saw a body in the hallway they would be suspicious. Nadia quickly checked her watch to confirm her thoughts, she was late to class. A body and she was nowhere to be seen? That would rouse suspicion.
Without thinking Nadia strode towards the unconscious person, knelt down and turned their head towards her.
Shit.
Nadia groaned, of all the people, she thought.
Scorpius bloody Hyperion Malfoy.
Quickly making up her mind Nadia let out a soft "Wingardium Leviosa" and directed the floating body to a nearby broom closet (which she ran up to and opened herself as she feared if she concentrated on an Alohamora Scorpius would fall and get bruising that wouldn't heal quickly).
As soon as she got close enough Nadia lifted her charm and grunted as one of the the unconscious Scorpius' legs hit her swiftly in the shin. Despite that Nadia pushed on and shoved Scorpius into the open broom closet, not bothering to look back as she climbed in herself and closed the door.
With a sigh Nadia made herself comfortable.
"You alright there?" Nadia smiled as she said this but mentally kicked herself as she realised Scorpius was still stunned. Reluctantly she muttered Rennervate.

Scorpius blinked. At first it was white, just white, which suited him just fine. Then it was an array of colours. He relaxed for a bit as the blurriness died out and a familiar face greeted him, but then he panicked. He'd never thought to alert anyone to his claustrophobia, it hadn't seemed relevant, but it was now. Very much so.
"WHERE AM I!"
It was more of a statement than a question, Scorpius was on high alert and nervous (although he wouldn't admit to the last one).

Nadia winced at the tone of Scorpius' voice. She didn't respond well to anger, well...she didn't really respond well to anything.
"Shut up, someone's going to hear you!"
With that Nadia craned forward as far as she could without hurting herself in an attempt to hear any outstanding voices. When she heard none she slumped back into her former position, but not without bumping her head into the top of the broom cupboard. Nadia wondered why this broom cupboard was marginally smaller than the other ones she'd had the absolute pleasure of being in.
"Right. So." Nadia had never felt more awkward in her entire life, but she soon straightened herself out as she reminded herself that it was just Scorpius, not some stranger. But then again, she'd never been caught up in such a compromising position with Scorpius.
"You're in a broom cupboard Scorp, and the reason you're in here is because for one I had to stun you otherwise you would've reported me like the goody-two shoes you are, and two I need an accomplice." At accomplice Nadia leered forward in a manner incredibly unlike her.
