Aiden had to return to the America because his own father had threatened him that he would find away to close up Zonko's and that was the last thing Aiden wanted. So he made a deal with his father that if Aiden would work for their company, he was allowed to do anything and everything he pleased as long as it didn't hinder his work for Chimera Corp.
Aiden loosen his tie as he came down from the third floor office of the cafe where his father was a share holder. Aiden was getting sick already of seeing all the places his family was a shareholder of and/or owned. He looked tired and pissed that his father also threatened that he would have Brent taken as captive if Aiden didn't agree.
"Seriously... to think that he'd do that to me, of all people. Damned power hungry, money greedy parents." Aiden spoke as he sat down on a chair and called for a waitress. A girl came and handed him a menu and was eager to jot down his order. "What will you be having, Mr. Murphy?" she asked him with enthusiasm. "Give me a cup of Black American Coffee and a club house sandwich with no cheese." he told her and dismissed her with one hand.
He was having a splitting headache since the negotiations had lasted a whole day which made Aiden want to thrash the whole cafe but he didn't. It wouldn't keep his father at bay and surely the other share holder of the cafe wouldn't be too pleased if Aiden went ballistic and destroyed the place.

Makar couldn't help but flinch a little as his peer started attracting much (perhaps unwanted) attention but kept calm and composed, looking out at the city through the window. He took a glance at the person Brent was madly waving at and was slightly surprised to see none other than Aiden Murphy. Aiden's family, who owned Chimera Corp., was a large stockholder, supporter and friend of the Germanotta family. Makar had seen him quite a few times at parties or dinners and the two of them got along okay but his sister, Gabbie, was a bit closer to him than he was.
"Hey Aiden..." the brown haired teen greeted the other man casually, taking a sip from his espresso. "I assume your father called you otherwise you probably wouldn't have come back here, right?"
Makar knew that Aiden had troubles with his family and could always tell when someone was troubled. Though Makar and Gabbie never told anyone else of the abuse their parents did to them the teen had a feeling that Aiden had a few suspicions.

Aiden turned as he heard Brent call out to him. All eyes turned to him as Brent waved his hand to get his attention. "Trust Brent not to care where he was and just scream peoples names out loud." Aiden thought to himself as he stood up and moved to join Makar and Brent. Aiden knew Makar's parents and knew about the things that the kid's parents did. He knew because his parents were like that to Aiden in some sense.
Aiden simply nodded at Makar, "You know me well enough to know that I wouldn't come here if it weren't important and such. however, what brings you here? And why is Brent with you?" Aiden asked Makar as Aiden's hand tried to keep Brent still. Aiden had glared at the other guests which made them all look away. "Right, look away, nothing to see here." Aiden thought.

for fuck's sake. And what the hell was Murph doing here in the first place? Brent thought he'd been trying to stay away from his parents, coming to Nevada wasn't exactly going to help him with that at all with that, was it? This was another one of those moments where Murph surprised him by knowing someone Brent had never expected him to. "Wait, how do you two know each other?" he inquired with a confused frown. He couldn't see at all anyway for Makar and Murph to know each other. But he'd been missing throughout a huge chunk of Murph's life, he couldn't be expected to know absolutely everything about him. He pulled Murph in for a hug and whispered quietly into his ear, "I'm here to see for myself that they're really gone..." Brent was clearly referring to the fact that his parents were dead, something he'd heard from Tommy and read in a letter from his father.[/ul]

"Professor Mckinney is with me purely by chance. We just met when I went out to get... fresh air and then he wouldn't let me wander by myself so now he's here." Makar replied to Murphy first, closing his eyes to savor the taste and effect of the alcohol in his coffee. "Aiden's family, the Murphys, are good friends with my family, the Germanottas. The two of them have been supporting each other for quite some time now so Aiden and I saw each other a lot at parties and stuff like that even before my parents adopted Gabbie..."
Makar ignored the whispered message between Brent and Aiden. The alcohol was starting to kick in so he was in a pretty good mood. No need to poke my nose in something that's extremely private right now was his thought process.

Aiden wanted to slap Makar quiet as the kid telling Brent how they knew each other. Aiden hadn't gotten around to tell Brent everything about his family and muggle life. Aiden sighed and placed a hand on Makar's shoulder. "To be honest, I haven't told him everything about my life here in America, Mak." Aiden told Makar in a pissed off tone.
He turned to Brent, "But I was going to tell you about the whole thing when we have time to just sit down and talk, Brent. But since we're here, I better tell you about my life when you left and what happened to me the whole time I was growing up." he told Brent as he sat straight and fixed his suit.
"After finishing college and coming back from Italy for a few years, my parents had been everywhere. They invested and had shares in almost every company there is and that includes Phoenix Corp. Makar's parents are also share holders in our company as well." Aiden said but paused since his meal came. The waitress quickly moved and left after placing the cup of coffee and sandwich Aiden ordered.
"As I was saying, my family became company tycoons, and extending business from mining to tailoring to even book selling. That's why in a very short span of time, Chimera Corp. grew to its present state and is will be growing even more since I am now back and partially working for my family." Aiden told Brent and he took a ship of his coffee.
"Don't ask me why since I know you would. I won't answer you even if you pout on me. Now is not yet the time for you to know why I came back and frankly I don't want you to know why. You'd simply feel sorry for me and that would just make me a whole lot more guilty and angry with my father." Aiden finished and sighed.

!" he whined. It was going to annoy Brent to no end if he was left in the dark, he'd just keep coming up with endless possibilities in his head. Each of them getting progressively more ridiculous.[/ul]
