Just tell the admins how you want it, and if you are adding to an already existing family, contact the family members.
Our canon list is different from most, canon relationships established and approved by J.K Rowling are set in stone for now and added, if a canon character is not on the list you are free to do whatever you like with them sans killing them off. Canon characters with families not established by J.K Rowling but put together by members will also be put on the list.
