Dria had very few friends at Hogwarts that she could count on. One being Dominique Weasley. The girl was a pure blood none the less. It didn't matter if Dominique was a weasley, or a gryffindor. She still trusted her with a lot of things. So when the girl came to her and told her of her findings, Dria was quick to believe her. Dria's eyes were frosted almost with pure hatred for this girl. This girl who had snuck under her radar. Perhaps it was because she was in the wrong house. Whatever the reason, Dria had lost anything and everything she had really wanted. Sure Mack was good, nice, took care of her, was nice to her, saw through her hedges, knew of her secrets, but that wasn't enough to keep him around. He wasn't her's anymore. Dria had gotten her coat on, and made her way towards the grounds outside.
She liked to escape even during all hours of the day. She was supposed to be in class, but she figured it was better to skip then it was to actually show up. She didn't have a family, she didn't have boyfriend. She had no one. It was the one thing she could count on never having. She thought about her father, and that only turned up the frustration, the hurt and the pain. Then she thought about this new dilemma. She shrugged it off like it was nothing when it was something. She wouldn't cry now. She was stronger then that. She held her wand as she looked at the whomping willow swinging back and forth. She conjured up some birds and flew them straight towards its branches, watching as there necks snapped and feathers flew into all directions. This was who she was, she was a Slytherin, a Pure blood. She wasn't beneath someone, she was on top of them. Even if she was falling apart on the inside, she was holding her appearance up on the outside.
She looked at the note that she had kept from there owls. They two went over to the whomping willow for destruction. She watched the tree as it stopped moving. She just sat there, far enough away from being killed by the tree, but close enough to continually send over the birds for there death.

Mack didn't know where Dria was. She hadn't been in class, and he was worried about her. He had kind of been neglecting her because of Elizabeth. Ever since he had met her, officially, in the common room. He hadn't spent uch time with anyone else but her. Except for when they played quidditch with Phoenix.
After Mack saw she wasn't in class again, he decided to go find her. He told the professor he had a splitting headache and was going to go to the hospital wing. That was a lie, he had lied before to get out of class. He knew Elizabeth would wonder where he was going, but he had to find Dria. He just had a bad feeling.
He went to the grounds, because he knew she loved it there and searched all over for her. Finally spotting a blond haired girl by the whomping willow reading letters. This couldn't be good.
"D-Dria? Are you alright?" Mack called out before carefully approaching her.

Dria sent over another letter shaped like a bird for the whomping willow to destroy. It was quick and it poofed like it was nothing more then dust. Dria didn't care to be found. She didn't care to be even looked at by anyone. Dria was depressed, no matter how you looked at it. It felt like a part of her was gone. Dria's eyes were set on the tree, as she created a few more birds and flew them over to there death. It was during that time, she heard someone approaching her. "I have a note!" Dria said quickly. Not that she cared to be caught by anyone out of class.
It was when she heard his voice that she twisted her head a little bit in irritation. She didn't even look back at him. Dria's eyes were not moving from the tree. If she could she would will the tree to do her bidding for her. "Just fine." She said though she was gritting her teeth together. It was more of a lie, but it was important that she lied at least in this moment.

Mackenzie burrowed his eyebrows when he heard Dria shout something about a note. She clearly hadn't seen who it was and was afraid it was someone catching her out of class. "It's just me, Dria." Mackenzie called out to her in a small voice. He didn't think this entire thing would go over very well. If Mack did what he was thinking about.
He was watching her send birds she had made toward the tree. Killing them instantly. Well that was a little.... sadistic. "You don't seem fine." Mack told her as he went over and sat next to her. "Something happen?" He asked her with concern in his voice. He looked to the side at her. Why did he have a strange feeling that he really didn't want to know what happened? "Is it your father again?"

Dria glanced at Mackenzie, her eyes were set as stone. She was pissed and he was going to hear about it. Especially considering he was the one that had caused it to happen. Dria did not care to tell him what was hurting her. "Yeah I realized that afterwards." She gritted her teeth together for a moment. She wanted to call him a mudblood, dirty blood, anything.
She rolled her eyes when he mentioned that she didn't feel fine. She did her best to not tell him 'as if you care.' truth was she didn't think he cared about her at all now.
She rolled her eyes once more. "No nothing with my father happened again, nothing will happen either." She said with a shrug. She did not want to talk about it. She didn't even want to think that way. She wanted to tell him to leave, but she said not a word.

Mackenzie wasn't stupid. He knew there was something wrong with Dria that she wasn't and obviously didn't, want to tell him. Mackenzie was afraid to know what she had found out. What if someone had seen him and Elizabeth in the common room and exaggerated to Dria about what they saw. What if they didn't and Dria hated him anyways. He wouldn't blame her.
"Dria... can you please tell me what's going on." Mack asked her in a pleading voice. He wasn't going to ask if that was what she was mad about, obviously. Maybe Mack was just looking to far into this. Maybe she wasn't mad at him at all and was just mad at something random. Yeah, surely that was it. His girlfriend... could he even call her that anymore? Was just upset, and he needed to help her get happy.

Dria's eyes were glued to the tree yet again for a moment. She looked at Mack at crossed her arms. "You really don't know what's going on Mack? You don't have the slightest clue why I could be pissed off?" She asked in a tone that accepted no excuses. "Who is she?" She snapped out rather quickly.
He wasn't going to make her happy now. She was far to angry with him. "Is she better then me? Do you love her? Well the truth would be good Mack." She said sharply. Truth is she wanted to know if he was ever in love with her. If he really did love her and care about her. "Well I'm waiting for an answer Mack." She said thru gritted teeth. Maybe this was punishment for everything she had ever done. Or maybe this was just the reason why she needed to be a bitter, cold, and annoyed malfoy.

Mackenzie froze. So it had been about what he thought it was about. Who had seen them and ratted him out to her? There was no one in the common room... they might have gotten a bit snuggly in the air on the broom, but only Phoenix and Rayne had been there. They wouldn't tell Dria on him.
"We're just friends Dria... I didn't do anything with her. She was sad in the common room, and I comforted her. She didn't know how to fly, I taught her. It isn't that big of a deal." Mack told her while trying not to look into her eyes. He didn't want to see the hurt. The pain.
Mack took a deep breath and closed his eyes. "But I don't like you the way a boyfriend should like a girlfriend anymore, Dria..." Mack spitted out, horrified at himself. She was going to think it was because of Elizabeth, and well. Maybe it was.

Dria heard his words, that's all they really were. Everything was just words. It didn't matter how you said them. They were always just going to be words.
The next words were a big slap in the face to be honest. She bit onto her lip a little bit more. The words tore into her a bit harder then one would seem. He didn't love her, he didn't like her the way a boyfriend should.
"Have fun with her then, and don't call me Dria, you have no right." She hissed out. She would hexed him if she had the strength or even the want to hex someone older then her. She felt her heart snap a little bit as she withdrew her eyes from the whomping willow. "Go away Mudblood, and don't show your face to me again." It was all she could to break down and start crying. She wasn't going to cry, but it took every once to become angry all over again.
