Chris was shocked. He didn't actually think she would be ok with it. He had been thinking about it a lot lately, well lately as in today. He loved her and wanted to spend more time with her. He had no idea where they would go but if they married, he could live at the school with her, figure things out from there. "Umm...yeah, they can come too. Wait, isn't Potter a student still this year? Would he even be able to leave?"

Alex smiled, "Well, they can if its on a weekend. And I heard from someone that Hogsmeade has this chapel where people can get married." she said. She smirked to herself and didn't look at him. She kept looking at into the lake. "We can have a small gathering and I'll love it still because its you and me who matters, right?" she said as she looked at him this time.

Chris smiled. She was getting excited about this and the more they talked about it, he was getting excited too. "Okay, Hogsmeade it is. This weekend. Who do you want to invite? I know Blaze and Potter are a given. Is there anyone else that you want to be there?"

Alex began to think if there was anyone else she wanted to be there. "My parents?" she asked. She wasn't sure if he wanted that. Alex had mentioned to her parents that she had a fiance now but they still haven't met him. She wondered what they would think if they find out that they were going to get married this weekend. What would Blaze think? Then Alex shook her head, no. What they thought didn't matter much. It was her and Chris. No one else.

Chris froze. "Y...your parents?" He swallowed. It made complete sense that she would want them there. What girl wouldn't want her parents at her wedding, even if it wasn't planned. He was just worried since he hadn't met them yet. "Umm, will they like me? Will they like that we are doing this? What if they don't like me? What if they threaten me? What if they make me leave you because they don't think I'm good enough for you or something? What if, what if they try to force you away from me?" Chris started hyperventilating. "Why am I starting to think that Blaze will be a piece of cake compared to them?"

Alex wanted to laugh but restrained herself. She turned around and cupped his face with her hands. "Ssssssshhhhhhhh... Relax... They already know about you. And to answer your questions in the exact order: yes, they will like you. No they know that I know what I'm doing. No they won't threaten you, your thinking too much. No again, they won't make me leave. No still, they won't force me away from you without having a war on their hands. And for your last question, I have no idea why you think Blaze was a piece of cake comparing to my parents." she said with a wide grin. She was being cheeky to lighten up the mood. And she gave him a soft kiss for good measure.

Chris sighed. She was right, again, though he would never tell her that. He'd never hear the end of it if that happened. "Relax. Right." He looked back over the lake, trying to regain some of the calm he had when he first arrived at the castle. "How about we go down to your rooms and relax. Maybe just sit cuddled up on the couch in front of the fire? Or do you have some grading to do? I shouldn't just assume that you have nothing else to do tonight."

Alex shook her head, "No grades to do. We can go and rest up. Come on, you need the relaxation more than I actually do." she joked as she held his hand with her own. She smiled at him and led them out the Astronomy Tower and to her room. They were going to have a very long talk and she already foresaw herself trying to calm him down again later.
