i, tenz & nadia agree that i have read the rules and the plot of this site. i have been roleplaying for tenz -about a year, nadia - first time roleplaying and especially love roleplaying humor, tons and tons of humor, and occasionally drama & romance. i joined this site because tenz - someone prodded me here...XP, nadia - tenzin poked me...a lot, on facebook and in real life...she's very persistent. other characters i have here are tenz - keith, nadia, scorpius & the sorting hat, nadia - none.

hello, my name is charlotte abigail barnard and i am thirty-seven years old. i previously went to hogwarts. when i was first year, i got sorted into hufflepuff. currently i work at a florist in diagon alley as an employee. some people like to call me charlie, lotte, lot, char, but i honestly hate it when anyone calls me charlo. my birthday is on may second 1984 and my favourite time of the year is autumn.

Charlotte Abigail Barnard was born on the second of May 1984 to the muggleborn Calum & halfblood Elise (nee Hawthorne) Barnard in the small town of Bibury. Her parents weren't exactly poor, but they weren't rather wealthy either, so Charlotte quickly caught on to the value of money, especially when she was thirteen and her family had been living in London. Her father was fired from his job and her family was forced to endure almost two weeks of living under a roof with no income, luckily a family member helped them soon enough and they moved back to Bibury.

Seeing as she had wizarding parents it wasn't exactly a surprise when she received her Hogwarts letter but naturally she was delighted.

Upon being sorted into Hufflepuff Charlotte made it her task to befriend everyone (steering clear of Slytherins though, as her housemates had warned her; they were not to be trifled with), and the elder Hufflepuffs quickly learned to indulge her: amused with her bubbly personality.

Through out her first to third year Charlotte was treated quite nicely, she never went out of her way to make life miserable for anyone and everyone else paid their respects by doing the same.

However in her fourth year she was pulled out by her parents, terrified that with Dumbledore dead, and Muggleborns being kicked out left and right halfbloods like her would be next. Charlotte didn't take kindly to this and insisted that the teachers were there to protect the students but her parents didn't budge, following this Charlotte locked herself in her room for two weeks, only coming out to grab food, take it into her room and put the plate on the sink.

Once a band of Death Eaters staged a minor attack on Bibury did Charlotte come out of her stubbornness, the attack was minor but it was enough for Charlotte, no one died luckily but quite a few Muggles were tortured being that Bibury was primarily a Muggle village.

Charlotte never got to do her fourth year but she came back to Hogwarts for her fifth year and received mainly E's, getting O's in Astronomy and Charms on her O.W.L's, the same for her N.E.W.T.S.

Completing her fifth, sixth and seventh years at Hogwarts was particularly hard at Hogwarts for many people were still mourning loved ones, and Charlotte felt guilty that both her parents were still alive while others were six feet under.

After graduating Hogwarts Charlotte found that she didn't miss Hogwarts, well, just a tiny bit but not all that much, she had spent the last three years feeling so guilty she didn't feel that Hogwarts symbolized a time of happiness but rather one full of tragedy.

Torn with this realization Charlotte moved to Bibury and decided that staying in London or anywhere near Hogwarts would overwhelm her with guilt. It was quite a sacrifice for Charlotte to give up her free use of magic but she decided in the end she'd rather have days doing everything the Muggle way rather than nightmares in the night about all the kids in the war who lost parents blaming her for their parents' death.

Until a five years ago Charlotte lived a peaceful almost no magic life in Bibury, until Charlotte decided that the pull of magic was too strong, for every wizard and witch magic was their calling and Charlotte could no longer what she deemed her calling and promptly notified her parents that she wanted to move.

Of course her parents were horrified and declared that Charlotte was off her rocker but she explained carefully that her parents should know better than anyone that magic was something you couldn't just give up. Begrudgingly her parents let her go and they occasionally visit Charlotte in Hogsmeade.

Charlotte is a very bubbly person, meaning she's very friendly and rarely gets all angry, except when told she's wrong. It's not that Charlotte has a superior complex she just has to be right. It's part of her nature, apart from that Charlotte is generally just - well not a sweetheart but nice enough, she's very stubborn and is set in her beliefs, if someone doesn't agree with her she tends to give them the cold shoulder or try and yell at them (which isn't very convincing as when she yells it comes out as more of a squeak rather than a shout.)
