hello, my name is Reid Dylan Rutherford and i am 25 years old. i previously went to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. when i was first year, i got sorted into Ravenclaw. currently i work at the Ministry of Magic in the Department of Magical Games and Sports. some people like to call me Reid or Dylan, but i honestly hate it when anyone calls me Reidy. my birthday is on March 10th and my favourite time of the year is Fall.

Debra Rutherford – Non magical. Worked as a school teacher in London. Didn't know her husband was a wizard until the day Reid got his letter. In which she left them. She couldn't trust someone that lied to her for all those years. She didn't even give a second glance towards Reid. Reid hasn't heard from his mom since and has no need to go looking for her. She's dead to him.
Donte Rutherford – Born into a nonmagical family as a wizard. It was hard on him, which was the main reason he never told Debra he was a wizard. He had basically given up on most magic. Only using it occasionally when she wasn't around. He would do tricks for Reid and stuff like that, but not much. He knew that Reid would be a wizard and that he would end up having to tell Debra at some point. He didn't think she would leave him though.
history;
Reid doesn't really remember things much before he turned eleven years old. He remembers the day his mother left him and his dad. How he was scared and confused and he didn't understand it. He cried for days straight. He told his dad he wouldn't go to Hogwarts if it meant that his mom would be able to come back. His dad told him that it wasn't his fault and that going to Hogwarts was something he needed to do. So he went to Hogwarts and eventually forgot about his mom. He purposely blocked her from his life. As if she didn't exist.
While at Hogwarts he met his four best friends. Chase, Brent, and Hunter. They started a band while at Hogwarts called Old Virtues You Can't Sweat Out. He's the bassist. He started playing base after first year. His dad had bought him one for his birthday and had taught him to play. He had played the base for fun when he was younger and loved it so much that he decided Reid needed to learn how to play it. Reid fell in love with the base in an instant and knew that he wanted to play somehow for the rest of his life. Not a lot of people know he's in a band with his best mates. It's more of a secret thing.
After Hogwarts Reid went straight into the Ministry of Magic. Starting off low at first and slowly working his way up to the Department of Magical Games and Sports. Something he loves because he was a rather good Quidditch player in his time at Hogwarts. His N.E.W.T's and O.W.L.'s were high enough that he was one of the lucky that could get a decent job right after school. He almost went to be an auror, but he wasn't exactly brave. His Ravenclaw mind was perfect for the Ministry.

Reid blames his friends for his personality, but Reid is rather outgoing. He's never afraid to tell people what he's thinking when he's thinking it. But his Ravenclaw mind tells him when it's probably not a good idea to speak what his brain is thinking. He's clever and he uses that to his advantages. Reid loves to goof off with his friends and have a great time. Which means partying or just playing chess with the guys. No matter what, Reid is up for it. He's not picky about anything and is just a laid back sort of person.
He's not what someone would label as Cocky, but he's not exactly humble either. He knows his strength's and uses them to his advantage like any good Ravenclaw would. He get depressed when he can't hang out with his friends a lot, because his job does demand a lot of his time, but he always makes sure to have time to practice his base with his friends and go over any band stuff that's needed.

It was clear to anyone with eyes that those two were at least more than friends."I guess I'll have to give them a little push. Seriously, who did they think they are kidding?"
"Really good friends huh? Sure...I'd believe that, if it wasn't blatantly obvious that there was something there. The way you acted around each other before you realized I was here, the pet names, the way Professor McKinney reacted to said pet name...you aren't fooling me. I won't tell anyone professors, as long as you tell me the truth."
Chris smirked. Maybe all the arguing with Alex and Blaze were bringing the Slytherin out of him.
"I'm Chris Sutton by the way. I'm a seventh year."
