i, Don agree that i have read the rules and the plot of this site. i have been roleplaying for a year and half and especially love roleplaying Harry Potter. i joined this site because I was on a roleplaying hiatus for a while but decided to get back into it. other characters i have here are none.

making it short and sweet ,

hello, my name is Jacob Abbott and i am 16 years old. i currently go to Hogwarts and am in my 6th year. when i was first year, i got sorted into Hufflepuff. some people like to call me Jake, but i honestly hate it when anyone calls me Jakey Boy. my birthday is on November 23rd and my favourite time of the year is winter.

Stuart Abbott- Born in England, Stuart grew up with Hannah Abbott at Hogwarts. He's a few years younger and is a diplomat for the Ministry of Magic. He knows at least 40 languages fluently and is asset to the Ministry causing him to travel a lot. Jake and Stuart's relationship is very strained and they barely know each other. Stuart was only there for his children when they were born and otherwise, only sends birthday money and gifts from whichever country he is in. He pays the Hogwarts tuition and pays the housekeeper and Hannah and Neville to buy clothing and food for his son. Stuart doesn't care about getting to know his son so Jake doesn't care about him either.

Rosie Sterner-Abbott- Jacob's mother was born to a poor family. She grew up focusing on her studies which would soon make her very successful. She and Stuart met as co-workers and got married a few years later. She prefers working over spending time with her sons. Secretly, she would have preferred to never have sons but Stuart convinced her to go through with it. Jake and her see each other as much as Stuart sees Jake (so never).

Hannah Abbott-Longbottom- Hannah is Jacob's aunt and in a way, his mother. She grew up as a normal middle class child at Hogwarts and soon married the famous Neville Longbottom. Hannah always knew her brother and his wife were never going to be suitable parents so she watched over their children for them. Although she is a very big part in Jake's life, she'll never be his mother in his mind. He'll always remember that his real parents don't care about him so although he doesn't push Hannah away, he doesn't show much affection for family. Yet, they still have a fairly good connection as she was there for him when his mother was not

Neville Longbottom- Neville and Jake have a very good relationship. While Hannah wanted to be there for Jake more emotionally, Neville wanted to help Jake in a different way. He told Jake stories and taught him before Jake ever entered Hogwarts. He was a role model for Jake and was one of the few people that could ever get Jake to open up. He was the one that helped Jake emotionally although he never did it directly. Whenever he helped his nephew or taught him something new, he showed Jake that not everybody were like his parents. Neville is the closest adult figure to Jake

Samuel Abbott- Samuel is Jacob's younger brother. He's a second year at Hogwarts. Although he will never understand Jake's conflicted feelings, Samuel has always been there for his brother. Jake cares about Samuel a lot and is the protective older brother if Samuel is hurt. They don't ever argue and are as close as brothers could ever be.

His father and mother were very important and involved in their careers, too involved to be even slightly interested in their children. Jacob and Samuel grew up in a rich household, attended to by the various housekeepers their parents paid for. Their aunt and uncle took a special interest in caring for them and came around often or made them visit as much as possible. These visits came to be whole days spent at the Longbottom household. It became their second home. Neville acted as Jake's fatherly figure, teaching him academics and Defense Against the Dark Arts prematurely. There was a mishap when Neville attempted to display a Shrinking Curse on a venomous plant which would create Jake's dislike of Herbology. After eleven years, the Hogwarts letter finally came and Jake went off to Hogwarts.

For starters, Jake is extremely loyal to his friends. He defends them, helps them, and is always there for them in any situation. Sometimes, he puts his friends before himself which has caused problems in the past but just shows he has his heart in the right place.

Jake is pretty level headed in general. In altercations, he tends to look at both sides and tries to see the best solution from an unbiased view. This makes him a fantastic Hufflepuff but sometimes conflicts with his loyalties to friends although he usually tells himself he's doing what's best for the friend (and is therefore helping them). The only times when Jake gets really mad is when he is betrayed by his friends. It reminds him of his parents' betrayal (in the way that they were never really parents) and he becomes a torrent of emotions when it happens. He thinks of betrayal as something unforgivable and will hold a grudge if something like that happens.

Although he cares about his friends and is deeply loyal, his outwards personality seems much more different. To his friends, he seems very reserved and doesn't talk much about his past or his emotions. He is happy when something good happens and is sad when something unfortunate occurs but when it comes to the more emotional things (such as death), he doesn't show anything. His friends have tried to talk to him but he has just shut them out.To put it this way: he seems like a normal person most of the time but when something happens that triggers a memory of his family or is much deeper than everyday life, he will stop the conversation or will lose focus.

His outwards nature has caused several problems for his relationships with girls. When he likes a girl, he is unable to show it and this has caused many girls to get the idea that he doesn't like them or is uninterested. In his few relationships that he's had, most have not lasted long. One or two of his girlfriends have been able to get him to open up but it does not come easily.
