i, Don agree that i have read the rules and the plot of this site. i have been roleplaying for over a year and especially love roleplaying in the next gen. i joined this site because I missed roleplaying and wanted to start back up again. other characters i have here are Jacob Abbott.

hello, my name is Hunter Diskin and i am 25 years old. i previously went to Hogwarts. when i was first year, i got sorted into Ravenclaw. currently i work at St. Mungo's as a Healer. some people like to call me D or Diskin, but i honestly hate it when anyone calls me Hun or Hunty. my birthday is on August 30 and my favourite time of the year is Christmastime.

Dirk Diskin- father. Dirk was a muggle and had no steady job. He was a natural musician but had a bad reputation which prevented him from ever being anything but small in the music industry. He worked at a small, local music shop for most of his life because of the reputation. His reputation was of being some evil wizard or something to other muggles because of the capabilities his son had. Hunter had several magic accidents and many people witnessed them and pinned the blame on Dirk. Despite this, Dirk loved his son very much and taught him everything he knew about music and life in general. Dirk was a good man with good morals which Hunter soon came to agree with They had an excellent relationship and Hunter is always proud to talk about his dad. Dirk died when Hunter was 18, having just seen his son graduate out of Hogwarts.

Mother- unknown. Hunter never knew his mother and Dirk never really talked about her. This never bothered Hunter so he was always used to the gap of a mother in his life.

Brittany- Mother-in-law. Dirk remarried when Hunter was in his sixth year at Hogwarts. Hunter and Brittany never saw each other because Hunter was always at Hogwarts or spending the summer abroad but in the time they did have to spend together, Brittany was spoiled and rude. Hunter always wondered why Dirk ever fell in love with her because it was obvious Brittany only wanted the attention and hoped Dirk would sometime become famous. After Dirk died, Hunter only saw Brittany once in a while and usually it was for legal stuff or to visit her kids.

Delia- Sister-in-law. Delia is very young, only 12. Hunter and her have a good relationship and is really the only reason he ever visits his old house (because she's there). She's a very carefree child, is patient, and listens to people. Despite not being able to see him very often, Delia loves the idea of a big brother and loves writing letters to him. She's really the only family Hunter has left that reminds him of his dad. He keeps her happy, sending her cool magic toys despite Brittany's initial dislike of magic.

Hunter was born to Dirk Diskin and an anonymous witch. His mother died giving birth to him and telling Dirk in the last few minutes of her life, that she was a witch. Dirk was initially skeptical of the theory of witches and wizards but was soon convinced only a few years after Hunter was born. There were several small incidents involving magic when Hunter was young, most of which Dirk could cover up. One day, however, when he was only 6, Hunter somehow managed to blow a building up. Dirk took the blame for the building and many other muggles thought he was some kind of freak of nature. His music career would never come to be.

Growing up, Dirk taught Hunter all that he knew. He attempted to bribe real witches and wizards into buying textbooks from Diagon Alley so Hunter could learn prematurely. He did everything in his power to help Hunter and to try to help him be the best person he could.

Hunter received his Hogwarts letter when he was eleven. He attended the Wizarding school but kept in touch with his father as much as possible. He was sorted into Ravenclaw and had a good time at Hogwarts, with a pretty normal life. He met some of his best friends at the school and some of them soon formed a band called Odd Virtues You Can't Sweat Out.

Dirk died right after Hunter graduated, something that devastated Hunter. After a few months of mourning, however, he took his father's words in mind that this one event shouldn't stop him from achieving his goal. After another year of study, Hunter became a Healer and works at St. Mungo's. He visits Delia when he has the chance and still is the lead guitarrist in the band.

Overall, Hunter is easy to be around. He's modest and has never felt the need to announce that he's in a generally famous band. Dirk always taught him to be gentlemanly and patient, making him a very easy guy to be around. He compromises well hasn't ever had any large conflicts. He's very quiet and can be pegged as the "strong and silent" type.

If somebody started a conversation with him, Hunter would be very open. He doesn't hold anything back unless it's secrets that his friends have. He's good at keeping secrets and excellent at listening to his friends. Despite the keeping secrets thing, he doesn't do well in drama. When his friends are in fights or something of the sort, he's kind of lost and tries to sit out in an indirect way. He listens to their problems and opinions but he doesn't like to help one side in particular. This is mainly because he knows more about the situation than the people involved do.

Hunter's extremely intelligent, making him a good Ravenclaw. Because of Dirk, he has a great amount of knowledge on many Muggle subjects as well as Wizarding subjects. He's a very good Healer when it comes to his job. He does his best to save the patient, using all techniques that he can think of. In terms of his band, he's good at helping write song lyrics or coming up with new ideas. He can turn pretty much any fact or concept into a song if need be.

Hunter rarely gets upset or angry. He's usually very laid back but sometimes, there's always that one person that gets under his skin. Usually this person is bothering his friends or him as he has a good sense of loyalty. When Hunter's upset, he doesn't tend to think rationally and makes bad decisions (making it a good thing that this rarely happens). His friends usually have to prevent him from doing anything too rash.
