Feeling an un easy feeling in the pit of his stomach, Mack decided to follow Chris back up to the castle. Something didn't seem right, and he wanted to make sure Chris didn't get hurt even mire than he already did tonight. It wasn't right that anyone felt that kind of pain.
Chris just seemed so distant and not really there, if he had to fight someone off like he thought, Mack didn't think he could win. So he followed at a safe distance, far enough back so Chris couldn't see him.
