Blaze entered the common room looking mad and bewildered. She was still trying to recall what she saw and heard outside the fifth floor hallway. Was their new head of house that cold and cruel? "I hope she won't throw her anger for Pro.Blackwood at us..." she thought.
Blaze sat down on the sofa, facing the fire place and watched the flames dance into a mysterious tune. A silent tune of music that only the flames could hear. She began to plot on howto gain her new head of house's trust. It was her last year and she was bent out on making it her most glorious year.

Alisha tried sneaking into the Common Room quietly. She'd skipped meal in order to get some rest here, and didn't really feel like being ambushed by these annoying first years that followed the older girls' around as little ducks. Therefore, she was quite relieved to see only one person sitting at the fire. The girl was obviously older than Alisha herself, so she wouldn't really have any troubles with her.
Sitting onto an armchair herself, Alisha pondered that the girl and she herself were actually quite alike. For one, they looked alike. Both long blond hair and slim body and of course, both wearing the same, Slytherin uniform, they could easily pass for sisters. Contrary to the girl, Alisha's hair was straight, and this typical Malfoy-blonde-white colour, but still... They were also the only two that seemed to have the need to be alone right not so much that they skipped meal over it.
Alisha suddenly realised that she was quite curious as to why the older girl (Blaze was her name, if she recalled it correctly) was here. She studied Blaze carefully, knowing that her staring was sure to attract the older girl's attention any second now. Yet she didn't look away. Alisha was in a strange mood this moment; something in between a really, really foul mood, and some kind of melancholia. Any talk or confrontation would be welcome to distract her from the sad thought she sure knew were about to come when she was in such a mood...

Blaze knew the young Malfoy was staring at her. And for some reason, she just let her stare for a little while. She recalled seeing the Malfoy when she was sorted into Slytherin. Most of her peers whispered that Alisha Malfoy could pass off as her sister. But Blaze hexed them the moment they got back from dinner and none of them dared to mention anything about family to her.
"For a Malfoy, you sure lack manners. Didn't your parents teach you that staring at someone is rude? Even if they aren't looking back at you?" she asked her calmly and monotonously. She didn't particularly like the Malfoy family since they were just like her own: Boastful and cruel. However, she knew that this Malfoy child was not like her family for some reason.

Alisha smirked when the seventh year started talking. This was exactly what she had been aiming for. A little distraction from her thoughts, even if it was in the form of arguing with a seventh year. "I suppose Grandma mentioned that..." she shrugged nonchalantly. She smiled a little at the thought of her Narcissa. Well maybe her parents hadn't taught her that much, (even though Alisha was sure they loved her, they seemed to have a hard time actually expressing their emotions.) Narcissa had always been there when she needed something. It had been Narcissa who had held her hand when she was scared, who had taught her the important things of life... it had been Naricca who scolded her when she was rude.
Alisha shook her head to snap out of her thoughts. "She also taught me to look at people who were talking to me. " she said amused, "And since I expected you to start talking... I figured I could just as well look at you already..." When looking at it separately, the sentence actually made sense... if it weren't for the fact that Blaze'd only started talking to Alisha because she was staring... not the other way around. She smirked once more at that thought, and continued to look at the older girl expectantly. Merlin, this was actually fun

Blaze smirked. This Malfoy was surely different from the rest of her clan. Then, just to amuse herself, Blaze stood up and transferred to the seat across Alisha's armchair. "Right you are, little Malfoy. And as your senior, it would be rude to not look at you during this talk." she began.
"For some reason, your stare was simply your way of drawing my attention to you. You seem to be thinking... No, feeling something a bit unbearable so you chose to distract yourself by getting my attention... You really are interesting... So like me when I was younger... Smart and cunning as well." she told Alisha straight forward and with a smirked.
This little girl has yet to prove her worth and use to her. Having a Malfoy disciple would be very amusing and that was what she needed, Something to amuse herself. But before she could listen to Alisha's response, Blaze heard a pounding from the door.
And then she heard her cousin call out. She turned back to Alisha, "We shall have to talk again soon. Excuse me..." Blaze said as she stood up to head on over to the door and open. And just as she thought, her cousin was there and looked really furious. She went out and closed the door behind her.
