The voice in his head had a good point but Astoria was a friend of his, his wife, he decided to stay just a little longer or she would probably not be in the best of moods when she returned home. A few minutes later, Draco glanced up from the paper as someone else entered the waiting room. That's when he knew he should have listened to that voice in his head with that brilliant suggestion, then he would be in this sticky situation. Draco Malfoy and Harry Potter in the same room together. Alone. It was not a bright idea at all.[/ul]

As Harry entered St. Mungo’s, his eyes landed on Draco Malfoy instantly. He didn’t want to have a fight then and there or any quarrel at all. The only seat available left was beside the blond Malfoy heir so he sighed and made his way over. He sat quietly next to him and didn’t utter a word as of yet.
He was just worried a bit when Ginny had owled him and said that she went to St. Mungo’s in the middle of her Quidditch tour. HE hoped that nothing bad happened to her while she was playing. Though Harry had to smile as he told himself that Ginny can take good care of herself.

He was feeling uncomfotable sat next to Potter and it didn't help that people kept glancing over in their direction, swiftly diverting their gaze when Draco looked up and glared right back at them. He knew exactly what they were thinking and that's what ticked him off: 'Look, Draco Malfoy and Harry Potter are sat right next to eachother! This is going to be interesting...'Draco was determind to prove that it would not be 'interesting' and that he and Potter could last more than five minutes together before either of them lost their tempers. "Good afternoon, Potter," he said quietly, so none of the other people in the room couldn't listen in on their conversation, "may I ask what you are doing here this afternoon?"[/ul]

Harry turned to look at Draco with a look of worry and joy. “Good afternoon to you too, Malfoy. I got an owl from Ginny’s team and said that she was rushed here. Must have been something because of their quidditch tour and all. I don’t really know.” He sighed and smiled again.
“How about you? Why are you here?” he asked politely. He didn’t want to have anymore troubles or silent wars with people he knew have changed over the years. Besides, Harry already knew what happened between Draco and the incident in the Astronomy Tower.” He just wanted a new life and peace, even with Draco Lucius Malfoy.

Harry simply nodded. He didn’t want to push the subject seeing as Malfoy didn’t say much at all. “Well, I hope Astoria is alright. Ginny and I on the other hand… Well, let’s just say that even after our divorce, we remained very good friends… we managed to made a good deal with the children and the rest of our families…” Harry said in a fading voice.
He didn’t know why he was telling Malfoy about his divorce but it didn’t bother him at all. Then Harry sighed and smiled again. “Well, you and Astoria must be very close seeing as you came here despite your busy schedule…” Harry said. The hospital seemed busy because the nurses seemed frantic everywhere. “I wonder why everyone seems to be I a hurry here.” He thought out loud, not really expecting an answer from Malfoy.

Harry just nodded. "Yeah, divorced. Ginny brought it up one night during dinner with our kids. she just suddenly said that she wanted a divorce... (sighs) i don't blame her though. we both knew that after the war, things would be different. but she said that she could deal with it. We did at first... (chuckles) We had three kids... but during the whole marriage years was... nothing. It was like we were very good friends and nothing more..." Harry trailed off.
Then he chuckled again, "But then again, I'm sure you've heard about it. The divorce was supposed to be a secret and all but somehow... People just found out... She then told me that she knew... All the time she knew... But tried to fix me... But I was alright. I didn't need fixing. I am who I am after the war... But she knew what I became... And I don't even know why I'm telling you this. Sorry about that, Malfoy." Harry quickly apologozied just as a Doctor stopped in front of Harry.
(I'm gonna be the Doctor too... ^_^ Since no one is a Doctor)
"Mr. Potter, Ms. Weasley is alright and wishes to see you. No need to worry. She just had a nasty run in with a bludger. Her bruises will heal within a month. However,'til then, please refrain frommaking her move too much and no quidditch until I say she can play again. She is not getting any younger, you know." the doctor told Harry as he left.
Harry sighed as he watched the Doctor turn the corner, "And she is now using her own family name again... Just wonderful." Harry's voice was neither happy nor angry. He then sat back down, not knowing whether to go straight to the emergency room to see Ginny or wait for a few more minutes."
Then Harry smirked a little, too little for Malfoy to notice, "Definitely waiting for a few more minutes... Besides... Malfoy's here..." Harry thought.

Harry nodded and silently agreed to what Malfoy said, even if it was just formalities. "It was really nice talking to you too, Malfoy. Though I was the one talking most of the time..." Harry said with a smile.
He then leaned back on the chair and waited for... Well, he didn't know what he was waiting for actually. "How about we wait for Draco to invite us to tea one of these days?... Or brunch... That would be great, wouldn't it?" one of the voices in Harry's mind thought.
"Have you completely lost your bloody mind? Malfoy is married and has a family... And his probably as straight as a ruler." a negative voice said, trying to bring down the other side.
"Well, brunch as friends then... Nothing wrong with that now, is there?" the other piped up again, making Harry smile out of nowhere.
"Yes, nothing wrong with that... But,nothing wrong with asking him first either..." Harry thought and slowly turned to look at Malfoy.
"Malfoy, would like to have tea with me sometime? Or perhaps brunch? As friends... Err...Old colleagues..." Harry asked with a sincere smile. The kind of smilethat says 'say-yes-that-you'll-go-with-me' kind of smile.

Harry's smile got just a little wider. He then leaned back further into his seat and didn't break eye contact with Malfoy. "That is a great question... However, I should be the one asking you that. Since I'm the one making the plans, I would like to know when your vacant, Malfoy." Harry told him.
"And this little brunch or tea might just be the beginningof many more to come..." Harry thought. But then again, he still had to figure out if Malfoy was straight or gay. "Even if you find out his gay, what makes you so sure that he'll be interested in you?" the negative inner voice asked.
"Easy... If his gay, then I'll just try to charm him. If it works, then perfect... If not, well... I just hope it works." Harry answered his mean inner voice. He kept smiling at Malfoy, "So, when are you free?" h asked again.

Harry smiled politely. "There was no way around it, Malfoy..." "Very well, tonight it is. Do you fancy restaurants? Or home cooked dinner? I cook." Harry asked him. Harry's new place since he and Ginny divorced was spacious. It over looked the sea and always had fresh air.
"However,I think we should have a home cooked dinner instead. It would really make the front page of the Daily Prophet if they see us together having dinner somewhere, don't you think? And I for one, want to avoid the front page." he added as he waited for Draco to choose.
If he couldn't have Malfoy, he'll just have to have a little bit of fun with the blond man for a little while. "Shame if you don't end up with-- Wait! Stop thinking about those kinds of things! He is just having dinner with you because you aked him! Bloody wanker!" Harry's mind screamed at him.
"So, which is which, Malfoy? Dinner at a fancy restaurant plus the front page? Or home cooked dinner with no prying eyes around? You're call." Harry asked again, still smiling politely.

He knew which would be the best option. That way he wouldn't even have to tell anyone where he was going. Probably only Astoria would need to know so she could hide it from Narcissa. "I think a home cooked dinner would be the best option, Potter." he nodded. That way my family won't find out I'm 'having dinner with the enemy'... He added to himself.[/ul]
