Chase had decided to visit Brent on their holiday. He was afraid of how Brent was taking the whole Maryn thing. They hadn't really talked about it much. Chase had only just been there to make sure Brent was alright. Which he wasn't.
Taking a deep sigh after apparating to Brent's house, he knocked on the door. Anxious to see Brent again. Chase missed him. Terribly. He wanted to know what was going to happen between the two of them now that Maryn was out of the picture. But he was afraid to. And he didn't want to push Brent into anything. He just wanted Brent to know that he was here for him no matter what.

Chase waited for Brent to come open the door. At first he didn't think he was going to, but eventually he heard movement behind the door, and figured it was Brent finally coming to answer the door. When he finally did, Chase could see that Brent was surprised.
"I came to see you, of course." Chase smiled at him. He really had missed his Boo-Boo. He was afraid Brent would be taking the Maryn thing horribly, which he probably was. But he didn't look too bad on the outside. He looked like Brent. The Brent Chase loved.
"Are you going to let me in? Or are you going to stand and gawk at me from the doorway?" Chase smirked and chuckled a bit at his best friend. He didn't think Brent would find it that much of a surprise. Chase was his best friend after all.

Knowing he'd look even stupider by doing that, he didn't. "Yeah. I knew that." he mumbled after sighing at himself. Brent thought he saw movement behind one of his neighbour's curtains and grabbed Chase's arm and pulled him inside before slamming the door shut. That answered his question. "If one of the old hags saw you they probaby come round with tea and scones and want to be fully introduced to you.." he explained. Brent remembered when he first moved in (without Maryn) and the old women wouldn't leave him alone. Brent had the feeling it was because he was young and single. Then Maryn moved in and they still always came round and cooed about what a cute couple they were. Now sometimes Brent couldn't even be bothered to answer the door because he didn't want their sympathy. He just wanted to be left alone. [/ul]

"Of course you did, Boo-Boo." Chase smirked. He had barely gotten out his question about letting him come in when he was dragged in by Brent. Then when Chase heard the explanation of why he was dragged, he couldn't help but laugh.
"So what you're saying is you're afraid of old women." Chase couldn't help but giggle at that. It was so Brent. To be afraid of older women coming and giving him tea and scones. What was so wrong about that. "I'm sure the hags are very nice." Chase smirked. He didn't know why he found this so hilarious.
Once he was inside, Chase looked around a bit. He didn't think he had ever seen this place as messy as it was right now. But he imagined that was because Maryn wasn't there. So he figured he wouldn't bring it up.
Looking at Brent again when they were inside, Chase couldn't help himself. He went over and gave Brent a big hug. "I missed you!" He was such a sap.

of them he just found them annoying. "They aren't nice. I don't like tea. I don't like scones. I don't like smelling of their horrible hag perfume. And I don't like being smothered with granny kisses." he complained, narrowing his eyes at Chase. This was not funny in the slightest. These old women were evil. Pure evil. Brent would be very surprised if they weren't ex-Death Eaters in disguise. Coming round very once in a while, sometimes making him even go to church with them. Brent shuddered. He had too many horrible memories involving the old hags. Way too many. Brent half-smiled and hugged Chase back. "I missed you too, Chay-Chay." he replied, struggling to conceal his laughter.[/ul]

"What ever you say. I'll believe you." Chase laughed. He really did believe that Brent didn't like them. But it wasn't like they were dark wizards under a old hag mask. They meant well, Chase was sure. To Brent however. They were probably worse than dark wizards.
"Good. You must always miss me. It's been like a year since I saw you." In reality. It probably hasn't even been a week. But to Chase, any minute away from Brent felt like a day. Any day felt like a month, and so on. He couldn't stand not being near Brent.
"I figured I could come over and hang out with you. Maybe jam a bit. I missed playing my drums." Chase probably looked like a little kid on Christmas at the thought of playing his drums. He didn't get the chance to play them often.

"Wayyyy tooo longgg!" Chase pouted at Brent. He wasn't used to being away from him. It wasn't fair in Chase's eyes. he wanted to spend every waking and sleeping moment with Brent. That sounded good to him, right?
"Uhh. The 28th. I think. I don't know. I don't pay attention to the date much." It was the truth. Chase really didn't care about what date it was besides for when he had to stand in front of a class and teach about whatever animal he wanted to.
"Hmmm. Anything I want you say?" Chase looked at Brent suggestively. "That's an awful big statement to fulfill, ya know." Chase winked at him. He loved goofing off with brent. It was one of Chase's favorite things to do.

It wasn't like he was going to do anything that he didn't want to. "I know it is, Chay-Chay." Brent smirked, looking back at Chase. He was too hot. Especially when he winked and goofed around with Brent.[/ul]

Chase was happy to see Brent laughing and smirking at him. It meant that he was feeling a little better about the whole Maryn thing. Or he was getting better at hiding what he was really feeling. Which was always a possibility, of course.
"Hmmm. Then I choose..." Chase trailed off, leaving Brent in suspense. "To go practice our songs!" Chase said probably a bit too loud. But he was too hyper right now. He was just happy to be seeing Brent again.
"What were you thinking, you perv." Chase giggled and winked at Brent again. God, what had Chase consumed to make him so hyper like this. It wasn't normal Chase behavior, but he wasn't going to object to it. He loved it. He loved Brent. Oh yes. Definitely loved Brent.

much. "You don't wanna know what I was thinking." Brent winked back. Chase seemed a bit... well, very hyper right now. And it was very adorable even if it wasn't that Chase-like. "Someone's a bit hyper today, aren't they?" he chuckled. Chase's hyperness was, as well as being adorable, amusing - and very much so. Brent had definitely missed him and his adorableness. He was starting to wonder how he had survived without it for what he thought must've been close to a week. It seemed impossible.[/ul]

Brent was winking... and joking. It really did seem like he was doing okay. Getting past the whole Maryn thing. This just made Chase even more hyper. "Oh. I do believe I do want to know what you were thinking. I must get some idea's for later. After all, Santa doesn't only give one thing, now does he?" Chase smirked at Brent again. Oh gosh he could do this all day.
"Well... you see. I stopped at this muggle Petrol station. And I saw this thing called an energy drink. And it looked good. So I decided to drink it. But I needed to drink it fast. So I chugged it. And I think it actually works!" Chase laughed at himself. He really shouldn't have gone into that muggle petrol station. It was amusing. But he was bored.

"Oh I sure do hope it's soon!" Chase said, laughing at Brent again. Oh god he was so hyper, he was scaring himself. But he didn't care.
"How was I supposed to know it would actually make me hyper! I figured it was just something they put on the bottle, but didn't do anything!" Chase felt like running... a mile or more. Oh god, he should never have an energy drink again.
"We should... not stand still. I'm too hyper to stand still. OH MY GOD. When will this wear off, Boo-Boo." Chase's eyes got wide. What if it never wore off. He would be doomed. "I'm so hyper. I feel like jumping up and down. Do you have like a tramp-oh-liney. That muggle thing? Those have always looked extremely fun. Majorly." Chase barely took a breath throughout talking. He didn't have time for it. And he had plenty of energy to speak.
