Chase honestly couldn't remember when he had slept as good as he just did. Not any time lately. Being with Brent... just made everything so much better. He didn't care that Brent had slept half on top of him, and tried hogging up as much of the couch as was humanly possible.
When he felt Brent snuggle closer to him, his head resting on Chase's chest, he smiled. He was so darn cute sometimes. It surprised even Chase. He brought his hand up to Brent's hair and ran his fingers through them, playing with it slightly. A smile on his face as he did so.
"Morning, Sunshine." Chase chuckled, knowing Brent hated the mornings. "Was I a good bed last night?" Chase joked with him on the fact Brent had slept more on top of him than on top the couch. Chase wasn't complaining, he didn't mind at all.

Chase still couldn't believe that him and Brent had done it last night, not that he was regretting it. Because he most definitely wasn't. He would never regret anything when he was with Brent. He was kind of surprised that Brent had let him play with his hair though. It wasn't like Brent to let him, but he did have some major bed head right now.
"Mornings do tend to be a bit bright, love." Chase chuckled at Brent. He was just too darn cute for his own good sometimes.
For some reason, Chase thought that Brent had thought he meant something else by his comment. He hadn't, but what Brent said did make him feel better. He had been kind of worried about that too. If what Brent's hidden meaning had meant what he thought it meant. "I love you, Boo. Since I haven't told you that since last night. I thought it was far too long." Chase laughed, still playing with Brent's hair.

? I'm gonna go blind!" Brent whined loudly. To be honest, his eyes were beginning to adjust more to the light now but it was still too light for him after not waking up that long ago. He found Chase's hand and held is loosely in his own, resting them both on Chase's stomach. This was too perfect. They were too perfect. "Far, far, far too long!" Brent pouted but then couldn't stop the grin from spreading over his face, "I love you too, Chay." Brent was probably sure he could just stay like this forever (minus the brightness, of course). Chase was warm, comfortable and just the cuddliest thing ever. Who in their right mind would want to move from Brent's current position on him? "Can I stay right here all day please? I don't wanna move." Brent smiled, tilting his head upwards to look at Chase.[/ul]

"You're so cute when you're whiney, Boo-Boo." Chase laughed at him. He was hilarious when he pouted too. Brent looked hilariously cute when he pouted. There you go. Perfect description. Even though he was whiney, it was still cute to hear Brent tell Chase he loved him back. Made a huge smile spread across his lips. Then when Brent grabbed his hand to hold it loosely on his stomach. Brent was just too perfect. That was just it. He was perfect.
Chase looked in Brent's amazing eyes when he asked if he could stay here all day and then looked up at Chase. "I have no objections. But knowing you, you'll last a bit longer before you get hungry." Chase laughed at his boyfriend. It was true. Probably for both of them and not just him though. They were both men... they could only last so long without food.

"Well... maybe I'm a bit bias. You're always cute in my eyes." Chase smiled at him and joined in his laughter. Chase didn't think this could get any more perfect. Literally. He was probably that happiest man on the planet right now. Hands down.
Chase laughed more at Brent's comment about his kitchen not having any food. Chase was positive that Brent was telling the truth. "Oh Boo.... what am I going to do with you?" Chase laughed before giving Brent's hand a squeeze. "I'll have to take you grocery shopping somehow..." Chase knew that Brent probably hadn't been shopping by himself for food before. Chase had done that since directly after Hogwarts. He hadn't had another choice. "In the meantime, why don't we go out for lunch." Chase smiled big at him. He didn't know if that would be considered a date... but they would need to have their first official one soon, wouldn't they? Might as well start somewhere.

Chase wanted to laugh at Brent's faded smile when Chase mentioned shopping. "Don't you want food in the house?" Chase couldn't imagine that Brent liked not having anything to eat in the house that was good. "I doubt you've had to do much around this place with Maryn before... but she's not here Boo. You've got to take care of yourself. Or... I'll take care of you." Chase said, laughing while doing so. Sure, his house was clean, food always in the cupboards, laundry always done. But it was another thing to take care of someone else too.
"'Course I'll pay for it, love." Chase smiled before leaning forward awkwardly to kiss Brent really quick. He didn't mind paying for things for Brent. Chase had gotten his mother inheritance when she had died shortly after he got out of school. It was more than he expected it to be. He had bought his house with it, but saved the rest. Over the years with his job, the money accumulated.
"We don't have to move right now, we'll go in a bit."
