history;
Phoenix Night lived what seemed at first glance an uneventful childhood. He did well in school, got good grades, and participated in a few after school clubs and what other young kids did these days. He originally planned to follow in his father's footsteps and pursue a career in architecture, taking over the family business passed down from his grandfather when his own father reached the ripe age to retire.
But things never do seem to go as planned. Strange things seemed to just happen around Phoenix during the course of his childhood. Things floated, vanished, morphed into other things and, on rare occasions, even spontaneously combusted. The young Phee remembers trying to explain to his mother these bizarre happenings but she wouldn't hear a word of it - convinced they were just little boyish pranks his friends would pull on one another.
It wasn't until Phoenix turned eleven when everything made sense. Or even less sense depending on how you looked at things. But his parents were supportive of their son venturing into his new world that 'Muggles', or so were his parents called, rarely stepped into. It made them uneasy, no doubts about that, but they were still there to wave him off on his first train away to his new school.
all that matters is the present ,
personality;
Phoenix in general is a friendly guy. It would take someone that clashes terrible with his persona to get on his bad side and even then Phoenix doesn't tend to openly dislike people. He's a forgiving person and doesn't like to hold grudges, they just get in the way and make things more awkward than they have to be. This boy just wants to have a good time, have some laughs and be merry.
The teen also tends to fall in love on a whim although he's not always fruitful in his attempt of wooing. But he goes for it anyway. He'd rather try and fail than not try and resign himself to wondering if it ever would of worked - "As you grow older, you'll find the only things you regret are the things you didn't do." so said Zachary Scott.
Phoenix, as jolly as he is, is easily brought down if things start going south for him. He is easily demotivated. But he prefers not to let on to it. He isn't a proud person as such, he just doesn't like anyone pitying him because the kid knows that pity won't change what has happened. You've just got to take a deep breath, put on a smile and carry on.

"You....you did this?" Phoenix chuckled. "Should've known. There's no way I would of honestly won something like this." But, to tell the truth, he was glad that she had changed the results or whatever crafty ploy she had pulled. He was here with Phoebe in his arms, dancing to some soppy song, in front of half the school. Corny. But Phoenix was enjoying himself.
"I'm totally okay with this." Phoenix whispered, his voice barely more than a low rumble near Phoebe's ear. He looked amused when the girl teased him by drawing even closer before pulling away slightly. Phee didn't let the blondie distance herself for long - he quickly tightened his grip around her svelte waist and pressed himself against her once more.
Phoenix gazed down at Phoebe as they swayed to the unhurried beat. It was funny how to pair had just seemed to click from the first day of knowing each other. The young man guessed that his fondness for Phoebe that stretched beyond that of a normal friend had something to do with it. Maybe now would be a good moment to do something about it. Hell, Phee didn't care who saw. Only Phoebe mattered, right?
Phoenix gently tilted Phoebe's head upwards by placing his fingertips gingerly on her chin. The young man could feel colour invade his cheeks mercilessly as their many onlookers caught on. It didn't help that a couple thought it would be a good idea to wolf-whistle and yell "kiss 'er!". It made Phoenix feel even more put on the spot.
Before he could change his mind or make more of a scene than he could already make, Phoenix slowly leaned down, closing his eyes as he did. Much to the delight of their spectators, Phoenix felt his lips meet the soft ones of Phoebe as he kissed her lightly yet ardently on the mouth.
