It was true that Alexandria was the snake she had lived up to be. Though she was only on her fourth year, a year her sister's senior. She had tried to keep herself in the light. Though its hard because she hardly really looks like her father. She looks almost like her mother. She was debating whether or not she wanted to dye her hair. If she could dye it, she would go to a blond color. She was tired of feeling like her father did not care for her because she did not have the Malfoy Platinum Blond hair.
So Dria had decided to get out of the castle for a while. It was Saturday. They were allowed to go to Hogsmeade. She had opened the door to the Three Broomsticks and made her way in. Her wand close by in her purse. She carried herself with grace up to a open seat. She quickly sat down after making sure the seat was clean.
She ordered herself a butter-beer and a cookie(crumpet) to go with it. She had thought about going to a hair shop as well but decided she would wait until she was back in the muggle world. Even if she hated every minute of it. She often wondered if there was some kind of spell she could use to get the right hair color back.

He couldn't afford to miss out on any opportunities, he wanted to be Minister of Magic, he had to pull his weight and more. Deciding that his trip to Hogsmeade didn't have to be a complete waste of time, he could stop off in the pub for a drink, act friendly and gain some good press, the head of the Malfoy family did exactly that. Holding onto his butterbeer, Draco searched for a vacant table. Though he couldn't find any tables that were vacant, he did find one that he was willing to sit at. "Alexandria," he greeted his daughter with a brief nod, his voice cold and unwelcoming, "what a pleasant surprise." He placed down his butterbeer and took a seat opposite Alexandria.[/ul]

Dria twisted her finger around her wand tip a little bit. She was debating using her wand to dye her hair as well. Dria glanced over towards the door half expecting the other brats and muggles to come pouring into the place like they usually did. This time there was no one. She just sort of daydreamed as she pulled out her journal. About the only muggle thing she really wrote in. Though she did not have to write it, she merely had to think it and it would end up inside of the book. It was amazing what she could do.
There it was like a black cloud floating over to her table. It was her father. She had not been really talking to him. She did not think she wanted to speak with him. She took a sip of her butterbeer which was automatically refilling whenever it got half way down. She glanced up at her father. "Father." She said a bit more confident then how she felt. His voice sent chills up and down her body. She could hear it in his voice. It was one of those.. Oh your here type of things. "what a pleasant surprise." She rolled her eyes a bit as she heard his voice. It spoke and rang and bit of sarcasm. "Indeed." She told him with a small nod. This was how it was between the eldest girl and her father.
It was a bit different with Lucious before they locked him away in Azkaban. It was different when he died too. She glanced up at him once more before glancing to look down at her butterbeer. It was one of her strong suits. She did not have to look at someone to know they were there. She could sense his presence. "What brings you here?" She asked trying to make her voice sound just as cold and iced as her fathers.

Alexandria sort of took a drink of her butterbeer as she listened to her father. His voice was warning, scolding almost. Telling her that she needed to watch how she spoke to her elders. He was her father, she thought he would have been proud as to how cold she was making herself. It was to hard to please a father like Draco.
"Want to tell me again, Father?" She kept her tone iced. She did not care anymore. Why should she? She was a pureblood and still she was treated like she was second class. If Lucious was still there, the Malfoy's might have been treated better. Her father was a bit of a dote.
Dria sort of rolled her eyes. So the Japanese Ministry caused her father to be there, and then they went and cancelled. "Perhaps he had something better to do." She told her father a bit edgier. She knew she was pushing at her father. But most of the time he pushed right back.
"Oh, Dear Father I am attending Hogwarts, Mom has not a clue where I am." She said as she informed him. Did he perhaps forget where she was. "Third years and above have permission to leave Hogwarts on the weekend." She smirked. "So I choose to go to Hogsmeade and have a drink." What was wrong with that.

with a complete lack of respect. It made Draco's blood run cold. "How dare you speak to me in that way!" he hissed icily. Some people shouted when they got angry and Draco did that on occasion, if his opponent was trying to have a screaming match with him, but usually he kept his voice quiet and unfriendly. It was an especially good tactic in this particular situation as his was in a busy place and didn't want to cause a ruckus. He ignored Alexandria's second comment, not even bothering to give her a reply and wanting to drop the subject completely. "Do you mean to say that you are not even coming home to spend Christmas with your own family? That you are staying there?" Draco asked, almost disbelieving of Alexandria.[/ul]

Dria was a bit different from her father. She had her expressions, though she at least was a bit nicer only if someone was nice to her. She could hear his anger in his voice. The way he spoke to her sent another shiver up her body. She could not help how she spoke to him. He might have been her father but he was really driving her away from him. "Speak to you in what way? The same icy tone you always give me?" She asked.
Alexandria rolled her eyes. "I never said that I would not spend Christmas with you, did you even hear me say that." She asked with a low growl. She rolled her eyes once more. "No I clearly did not say that, but maybe I should. It seems that you want me too." She rolled her eyes a bit.

She about jumped and dropped her own butterbeer onto the table. She listened to his anger. She listened to how much he wanted to yell at her. Alexandria could feel her heart rapidly beating as he said that he could do what he pleased. She knew that she was not dense. She looked at him.
He did not want her coming home until summer and even then she probably would find some place else to go. "Your prize daughter." She rolled her eyes. She could not help but to say it out loud. No matter what Dria did she would never be her fathers prize daughter.
"Shame? I have never brought shame on this family." She hissed out. Her temper was shaking so was she. "How about this... Forget I was ever born, I'd rather have been Lucius Daughter!" She told him.
She got up, grabbed all her stuff and vanished out the door. Leaving her father hopefully dumbfounded. She quickly made her way back to school. Hopefully where he would not want to chase after her.

Dria was gone, by the time her father decided to stay inside. She had hung around for a moment only to finish her thought about her grandfather. Then it was a moment or two later that she took off as fast as she could. It almost appeared like she was flying back to the campus.
Dria was thinking her father was a 'bad father' to be honest she felt like that all along. Dria never got the love that her younger sister had gotten. She never got the love that Scorpious had. She was the one who was iced all the time. It was always her, and it would always be her. She made it back to campus and by now she was frustrated, annoyed, and ready to go and torment someone to make there day just as miserable as hers had gotten. Dria really was not a nice girl after this meeting, (nor was she at the start) but we all know Parents can bring out the best or the worst in us.
