Supper Before You Go [Lily, James, & Harry]

[Albus "Al" Potter]

Albus was in the Great Hall, starving from a day full of classes and homework. He had heard that his dad was around and was sadden a little that he had never ran into him when he was heading for one his class. He hoped that his dad was either with Lily or James so they could force him to have supper before he left.

He sat alone in the Gryffindor table. Unlike James who had friends, Albus wasn't that close to anyone. He usually just stayed at the library, the Astronomy Tower, the greenhouse, or the Lake. He didn't have much friends. It was strange though. He was a Potter. Not that he would use it to have friends. But no one really seemed to care. Which was not an issue.

Al was more than happy to be left alone at times. He did want to hang with Lily and/or James but since he wasn't close to them (they weren't close at all), he didn't know how to approach them. "I hope dad's still here." Al whispered to himself.

[Lily Potter]

Lily entered the Great Hall with her brother and dad right behind her. She smelled the delicious food cooking, and couldn't believe how hungry she was. For a small girl like herself, she could always eat a lot more than what anyone thought.

Lily looked at Gryffindor table, to find a place where they could all sit down. She spotted Albus right away. The Potter hair noticeable from anywhere. She smiled as she saw that no one was by him. There was enough room for all three of them to sit by him. Turning her head back and smiling at her dad and brother, Lily walked toward him.

"Mind if we join you for lunch, Albus?" Lily didn't even shorten his name to Al like she used to. It was almost like they didn't talk for years. Which it did kind of seem like it to Lily.

[Harry Potter]

Harry smiled at his second son. Albus' hari was just like Harry's when he was his age. Then again, James' hair was just as messy too. They really got his hair. And If Lily was a boy, she might have probably have the same hair as James and Albus.

"After a day here, I finally have all my children together." Harry said as he gave Albus a quick hug. "Where have you been young man? I would have thought you would have ran into us at one point but to my surprise, we didn't see you or your shadow... If I knew better, I'd say you were embarrassed to have you dad in your school." Harry said as he pouted a little, teasing his son.

Harry took a deep breath and knew that he had to do what he needed to do before his time ran out. "Albus... There's something I want you to know... I would have liked it if you all three knew at the same time... But the circumstance never allow it so you wach had to know separately..." Harry was stalling. He always did when he was nerves.

He turned to his eldest, hoping that he would help out his dad. He didn't know how to break the news to Albus.

[James Potter]

James shouldn't have been surprised by Albus being in the Great Hall just when they went in, but he was. He sat next to his brother and filled his plate.

He saw the look his dad gave him while talking to Al. "It looks like it's up to me to tell him. Oh joy."

"Listen Squirt," he hoped using the nickname he had given his brother when they were little would help, "What dad is trying to say is that he's told something to me and Lil that was well, unexpected." James took a deep breath and looked at his dad. "He told us that he's dating someone, and that someone is a man. He's dating Mr. Malfoy." He sighed and waited for whatever response Al would have after hearing the news.

Albus was lost for words. Did he just hear his brother right? "He told us that he's dating someone, and that someone is a man. He's dating Mr. Malfoy." Draco Malfoy? The Draco Malfoy that governs Hogwarts, Draco Malfoy? He just sat there then dropped his fork on his plate. He knew it. Then he turned to his dad with a big smile.

"I knew it! Ha! Divinations isn't a stupid subject then. I knew I was right since the summer. When have you been seeing him, dad?" Al asked happily. He didn't care that his father, the Harry Potter was gay. He could care less. As long as his dad was happy. He'd hex anyone who'd get in the way if they even try.

"Come on dad, tell us. When? Where did you see each other again? Since when did you think you had feelings for him?" he began to ask without stopping. "You know that if he tries to hurt you, James, Lily, and I will probably torturing for hours without stop, right?" He told his dad. He loved his dad and mum. Though he didn't show it. He loved his siblings too.

Then he remembered where they were and blushed when he realized that his voice was a bit louder than normal. "Sorry." he said as he pulled his dad next to him to listen to his answers. He turned to his brother and sister, "Are you guys excited about all this?" he asked,trying to contain his own excitement.

[Lily Potter]

Lily wanted to out right laugh at her brother and dad. Just jumping into the subject of dad being gay. They definitely had tact. Not. Lily just sat back and let them do the talking. She wasn't surprised when her dad looked to James for help. She was surprised that James just jumped into it. Then again. It was James. Lily sat down across from Albus, figuring that it would be fine to sit down now.

The one thing that thoroughly shocked Lily was Albus' response. He had known...? Sure lily had had her suspicions before. But she didn't know anything for sure. And yet he seemed to just kind of know.

"Wait... you knew?" Lily asked her brother incredulously. She couldn't believe this.

Lily burst out laughing. She couldn't contain herself. Here the three of them were nervous to tell Albus and he was more excited than anyone! "Excited? Sure I guess. I'm just happy dad's happy." Lily continued to giggle. She just couldn't help herself.

[Harry Potter]

Harry was dumbfounded for a few moments. Then he smiled as he patted Al's head.to think that He, Lily and James were worried how he'd react. But here he was, excited about the whole thing already.

"Wooh... One at a time, Al." Harry chuckled. "Let's start with, when. We met a month ago at St. Mungo's after being owled by your mum's team that she got into a bludger incident. But she's fine. I sat next to him outside the emergency room and we were civil with each other."

"Second, I had feelings for him since my sixth year. After I followed him around the whole year. I noticed every little detail about him and his likes and dislikes. It was unnatural back then though. He and I were in opposite sides of the war." Harry explained.

"And lastly, yes. I know you three would torture that blond man senseless when he even thinks of hurting me." he told his children with a smile. "Thank you."
