Minna dropped her jaw. No wonder Maryn came to her for help. She didn't even know how to start making a plan. Minna smiled and chuckled as she gave Maryn a hugged. "Ever funny Mary... I shall give you hints here and there on how to come up with a plan." she told her. "I don't think making Brent jealous would work. If you look for a guy to use, he won't be jealous who your with because his gay. And I don't think there are people in this castle who would want to act gay for your revenge..."
At that same moment, Gabe Turner ran across Minna's mind. "No way in Salazar Slytherin's name am I asking for that guy's help! He might ask for something of me in return that I know I would regret soon after." she told herself. Gabe Turner was official scratched off her list of possible male. Second to him would definitely be Keith Blackwood. Minna never wanted to see the man again.
"Always remember, in making a plan, you have to think of what would make your opponent really angry. Jealousy works both ways. It might back fire on you as well." she told her friend. "Try again." she encouraged Maryn. She knew Maryn will think of something good. She was sure of it.

flawless? Maryn liked it already and she knew that Brent really, really wouldn't... "How about I pretend I'm pregnant with his child?" she beamed, knowing reminding herself of the fact she couldn't actually have kids should make her sad but being too busy developing her idea further. "I could make it work... I know I could! It's perfect!" Sweet, sweet revenge. Oh, how Maryn loved it![/ul]

Minna froze dead on her tracks. That idea never crossed her mind. She had to hand it to her best friend to think of the craziest idea for revenge. Minna snapped back to attention and smirked at Maryn.
"Well, well, well... You might just be on the right track. Even I didn't think of that. Keep going Maryn. Your idea seems promising." she encourage her friend. So the revenge wasn't going to involve wands and spells. It was going to be an emotional battle.
"Do you have details with this idea you just thought of? Or did the idea just pop into your mind?" she asked Maryn. She wasn't going to tell Chase about how Maryn was going to have revenge. That was the least Minna could do for Maryn since she already promised Chase that she wasn't going to be part of the revenge thing.

Minna simply nodded as Maryn explained. She was right that the thought just popped into her mind. But it was a good start for Maryn. To think that she thought of it alone and without Minna's help. She was happy for her friend.
As she listened, Minna was amazed on how fast Maryn was learning. And she was right about one thing, Transfiguration had been one of Maryn's best subject back when they were students. And the fact that being an ex-auror was even more advantageous for her.
"Your getting the hang of this planning thing faster than I thought. Keep going. It's getting better and better." she praised Maryn. And Minna meant what she said. Maryn was doing a good job of making her plans. Then she remember why there was a plan. Minna tried her best to not show her distress.

Minna simply nodded and smiled at Maryn. She knew that her friend can do anything if she set her mind to it. It was what Minna did all the time. But this was a bit different. This involved a revenged plot, a secret promise, and her sacred word of witch's honor. If only there was another way to avoid having to go through having the revenge against Brent, Minna might consider it.
"Yes. You do that, Maryn. Go think about it and try coming up with at least five plans involving your idea. Those are called scenarios. You imagine them happening right before your eyes and write down the possible reactions Brent might say and do. This will be your guide on which plan is best to put into action." Minna told her seriously.
This was the only thnig Minna can do for Maryn. Minna was having a tough time trying to fight all thoughts to make Maryn the fool-proof reveng plan against Brent. But Chase would know that it was Minna would made the plan and not Maryn. It would be too obvious. Chase did know Minna and Maryn like he knew Brent, in one way or another.
"Now that you have an idea, time for you to use that Merlin given brain of yours and have your very first revenge plot. Made and thought of all by yourself." she encouraged Maryn. She needed all the encouragement that Minna could possibly give since it was the only thing Minna can give.

She smiled as Maryn gave her a quick hug before leaving. Minna watched Maryn leave her classroom and sighed to herself. This was tougher than she thought it would be. To think that she was really going to back away from the fight itself. But she knew that she was doing the right thing.
Minna and Chase shouldn't be part of the battle because Maryn and Brent had to settle the end of their marriage themselves. If the choose to end their marriage that is. Minna wondered absently if she could have changed Maryn's decision if she had met her before she married Brent.
"You don't hold the answers and solutions to everything, Willhellminna. Always remember that." her own mind reminded her. She sighed again. Once again, she was battling with her own thoughts about what could have been. "Past is past. There is nothing you can do to change it... Besides, if it were the inevitable, even if you where there, Maryn and McKinney would have gotten married still." Once again, her thoughts had a point. A really good point.
