Minna didn't know how she got there but she wasn't really dwelling on the how. She was thinking more on why her feet took her there. It was the fourth floor choir room, Brent McKinney's place. But good thing he wasn't there.
She sat on one of the benches and just looked around. She didn't go there to pick a fight. She was just there for unknown reasons, even to herself. She didn't hate Brent now. Not much like before really. After her talk with Chase, her view of the people around her had changed, seriously changed.
She took a deep breathe and felt calm and relaxed. That was saying a lot since she was in the den of a supposed enemy. Maryn had began her revenge and the least Minna could do was encourage her friend like how Chase was encouraging Brent.
"It's only fair... I think..." she spoke out loud. Though she knew no one was there, she didn't care. she was relaxed.

he even tell Chase? On top of that, Brent had been reminded that he still had to make a decision on what he was doing with Tommy. He needed Chase... but at the same time didn't want to speak to him about this as he was worried about what his reaction would be. When he entered the choir room, Brent's eyes narrowed as he spotted Minna. "What are you doing here, Theoreux? Here to take more pleasure in my misfortune?" he hissed. Of course, Minna would know if Maryn was pregnant. Brent didn't doubt that. Brent was certain she was purposely here to make him feel worse about everything.[/ul]

Minna turned her head and tilted it when Brent came and seemed mad at her. Even if he was there, she didn't seem to get mad for him being rude. She was still calm and relax. The choir room was surely something else.
"Sorry for coming here... I don't really know why I came here... I actually don't know how my feet managed to get me here..." she told him in an apologetic voice. She was really sorry. She could tell that Maryn had indeed began and she was going to play dumb about it.
"Misfortune? Did something happen?" she asked in confusion. She didn't really know whether he was made because of Maryn, Chase, or her. It was a confusing time for her as well. Everything in Hogwarts seemed crazy.

what happened." He glared at her. Really? Acting innocent? Brent didn't believe that she didn't know anything. She was Maryn's best friend, of course she would know about this.[/ul]

Minna was really confused but then again had a hint that Brent's problem could be Maryn and her revenge plot. But Minna didn't know everything about it so she was still off the hook. She sighed and leaned back on the chair she was sitting. Brent wasn't going to believe her easily that she didn't know anything.
"I should have expected that you wouldn't believe me. But then again..." she placed her hands under her chin and sighed again. "Since the confrontation you have with Maryn, she hasn't spoken to me much. She just cried and then left. Didn't bother to share what had happen."
Minna didn't get to really know anything that had happened. She turned to Brent with eyes that seemed to be tired of living. She was tired of whatever kind of life she had to grow up with. "I envy you, Brent... At least you got the chance to get married... Even if it didn't last long." she said as tears were starting to swell up.
"Now, you have Chase beside you... You're way luckier than I thought you were..." she tried to chuckle but the tears were to many and they started to fall from her eyes. "This sucks..." she said as she hid her face from Brent. to cry in front of him was something she didn't want to do. Not in a million years. But it was happening now.

Quickly, Minna wiped her tears and tried not to sniff out loud. She bowed her head so that Brent couldn't see her face that was wet with her tears. She cleared her throat and thought of what to tell him.
"O-of course not! Why would I be crying anyway... idiot" she said and whispered the last part. She was truly crying but hoped that Brent was stupid enough to believe that she wasn't crying at all. That was a long shot.
She wanted to face him but knew that her eyes would give her away so she still kept her head down.

you crying?" he frowned, not daring to move any closer to her. Brent didn't think he'd be very comforting if she did actually tell him but he was curious and wanted to know nonetheless. Minna knew plenty of his secrets, thanks to Maryn and just her general sly nature.[/ul]

Minna sniffed again. She had crying for the whole week. She had reasons which she had to tell someone or she'd burts out and kill herself. She sighed and turned to face Brent' with puff eyes.
"I have been crying... I have a lot of reason for it... One, Redpaw hasn't spoken to me since our dinner... Two, I have this really annoying man following me... Three, the man I have loved for a long time turned out to be gay and is now married.. Four, Maryn hasn't talked to me since your confrontation... And Fifth, I'm crying because I envy you, Brent McKinney. Very much." she said as more tears came down her cheeks.
Dammit. Things were going from bad to worse for her. It just had to come down to spilling her heart out to him. Chase was alright. But Brent McKinney? She sighed as she allowed the hot tears to fall down. She was tired of living anyway.

? Brent couldn't help but laugh when Minna reached the end of her sob story. "You envy me? What is this? Some kind of sick joke?" he glared at her after he'd finished laughing. Brent knew just how inconsiderate he was being but he really did hate Minna, he was going to take pleasure from her pain. "I didn't need to whole big sob story, Theoreux. Because I can honestly say I don't care one bit about you." he hissed venomously. Maybe it had been her saying that she envied him that had set of Brent's temper. But what he was saying was the truth, he wasn't just blinded by his anger. He would've been more than okay with a 'I've just got some things on my mind' than having to hear all about the woman's life. However cruel that sounded.[/ul]

This just killed whatever feeling Minna had on trying to be nice to him. He was just plain stupid. Before speaking another word. She had pulled out her wand and stupified Brent without second thoughts. She was actually thinking of being nice to him.
"Your an idiot McKinney. I don't know shit what Jackson saw in you, you insensitive asshole. But I will make sure that Chase know that being nice to you will be eternally impossible since you can't even show care to anyone else who tries." she said, looking down on his body.
Minna was damn right pissed of and if Chase was going to be all mad at her, she was going to tell him why she did what she did to Brent. He deserved it and whatever else Maryn had planned on him. On second thought, Minna was going to help Maryn now. Making up plans and plot them on Brent. That made her grin evilly.
Before she left, she added a water repelling charm on Brent and made sure that no one else but her could remove the spell. "Merlin forbid, McKinney, that you'd actually die here alone. You deserve to be alone." she hissed and left the choir room.

Phoenix couldn't practice in his dorms. The other boys distracted him and were forever annoying. There was this one song by The Academy Is that he wanted to learn on an acoustic for Rayne. If he ever got the guts to sing it to her that is. It wouldn't be the first time he was going to practice alone in the Choir Room. The place was perfect for it. There were no annoying echoes and there were no annoying disturbances.
Head in the clouds, he almost bumped into the Head of House for the snakes. Phoenix glanced back over his shoulder, confused. He shrugged it off though and pushed the door to. He was humming to himself as he slung his guitar onto a bench. He dug out his bottle of water from his satchel and took a small sip, oblivious to the stunned form that was his own Head of House.
Clearing his throat, he stuffed it away back into his bag and turned on his heel for some sheet music to nose at to warm up with. "Wha'... the fuck? ..Professor McKinney?!" Phoenix blurted out, seeing Brent's frozen form on the floor. He trotted over and got to a kneel, looking him from head to toe with his mouth hanging open. Blinking and shaking his head to wake himself, he rummaged in his pocket for his wand.
"Uh... this should work... Ennervate!" Phoenix cast the counter spell to the Stunning Spell, hoping it would work. It could of been anything else but this was the simpler thing that could of happened.

Phoenix could feel his cheeks go pink - McKinney was actually thanking him? Was his Head of House feeling okay? The other day he got a smile and today he got a sort of "thank you". Phoenix just looked down at his wand with a small smile and pocketed it before joining McKinney on his feet.
"Its alright..." Phee mumbled, walking over to his bag and getting out his bottle of water. "Would you, uh, like some?" He gave the bottle a small shake to offer it to the professor. Who knew how long he had been out cold. Maybe all afternoon, all morning, all day... Maybe his awkwardly expressed gratitude was a product of dehydration.
"Professor Theoreux?" Phoenix repeated, raising an eyebrow. "I almost bumped into her on the way here... she doesn't look too pleased if you're thinking of talking to her."
