Peace and quiet, finally [Blaze]-closed-

James almost blushed at her compliment. No one really has ever said that to him. Sure his dad had told him he was proud but...for someone else to say it, well he was just shocked.

His shocked disappeared when she became serious. Of course he would ask her, why wouldn't he? He knew for a fact just how shitty things could go by making assumptions. He would not do that to her. "I promise to come to you if that happens. I'm not stupid enough to make assumptions without all the facts. I hope that you will do the same if you hear anything about me. I mean, I'm me, it's very likely for some rumor or another to be floating around, even if everyone likes me."

Blaze gave him her famous slytherin smirk, "If anyone even dares to try and make a rumor about you and some girl, I will skin them alive and feed their guts to the chickens." she smiled at him. She was not going to allow anyone to ruin them, not now.

"I'm glad that we had this talk, James. And I am glad to have met you." she told him before leaning in to kiss him. It was soft, gentle, and showed how much she truly cared of him now.

She pulled away and held his face close to hers, "You have my heart at the palm of your hand. Please don't break it." she told him, almost like begging him not to leave her.

James smiled. He may be the more experienced one relationship wise, but it seemed Blaze was the more possessive of the two. Not that he minded.

He was glad they had met too. If he wasn't such a gentleman he would never have met this wonderful woman in front of him. He leaned in and kissed her, as softly as she had kissed him. "I'm glad I met you too Blaze. I promise, I will try my hardest not to break it. But like you are nervous about this new experience and might mess up a bit, I might do the same. As long as we talk first before we react, we should be ok.:

Blaze smiled as James pulled away from another kiss. "Talking would be great. I hear that constant communication is one key to keep a relationship steady and trouble free." she told him cheekily. She never had done it before and blushed just as soon as she realized what she did.

"You know, your one strange wizard. James Potter. I must say that only you can make me doing strange things." she joked and giggled. Then she placed her head on James' shoulders.

"Alex is dating a guy named Christopher Sutton. You might have heard of him. A year older than you and a new kid here." she told him, just lying in his arms. She liked it there. "You can't tell him yet. Let everyone see tomorrow." she told him softly as she closed her eyes.

James smiled down at Blaze. Apparently sleeping on his shoulder was one of those things. He was a little shocked that her cousin was also dating a Lion, but it's not too unusual as she was a Ravenclaw if he remembered right.

Why would he tell some guy from his House? He didn't even really know the guy. He was one of the few people he didn't know in school actually. "Don't worry, I won't tell him. I don't even know him so why would I?"

He wrapped his arms around her waist and leaned back against the couch. There, now he was comfortable and had a girl in his arms. How could this go wrong?

Blaze moved a little and remained asleep. She was safe and warm. She had James now and that was enough for her. It was high time for her to be her real self and not care what the rest of the school may think. She didn't study at Hogwarts to earn the approval of others. That was the least of the things she came her for. She could careless if everyone just avoided her.

But not James. She would not want him to avoid her. She cared for him now and she wanted to have him forever. She placed a hand on his chest as she shifted her self to be more comfortable. She had never felt so relaxed and so safe since her Uncle and Aunt came to rescue her from the cellar.

"James..." she murmured as she had a smile on her face. She truly had changed upon meeting him.
