Andrew was making his way to his Head of House's office on the Fifth floor. He just accomplished his task and got Brent into trouble with Chase. It was rather fun and he got a good kiss from it. Andrew wasn't going to complain. However, he wasn't going to tell him Head of House that he actually enjoyed the kiss.

He knocked on her door, it was alright evening when he finished his task. "Professor? Are you in?" he asked out loud and pushed open the door. he came in and closed the door behind him just in case Chase and/or Brent decided to follow him.

"Professor, I did what you asked me." he began and smirked. "And just as you planned, Professor Jackson came and saw me with Professor McKinney in a very awkward position." he finished. He placed his things down on an empty table.

"Though I thought I was going to have a hard time doing your task, the opportunity came in a snap and everything else just followed." he told her.

Minna looked up from her table and saw Maxwell coming. When she heard his news, she smirked in triumph. She stood up and clapped at him. "Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful news of the evening, Andrew. Very wonderful news." she told him as she stopped a few feet away from him. She was really happy to hear his news.

"I am glad that you were able to accomplish your task then. And I am very impressed. You're rather lucky, aren't you? To have everything just fall into place and all." she told him as she crossed her arms. Then, her curiosity got the better of her.

"If I may ask, how did you get him into trouble?" she asked him. She just had to know. It was a patronus worth memory.

Andrew didn't want to tell her but he knew he had too. He took a deep breath, "My plan was to ask Professor McKinney for help with the homework he asked of our class. Though I didn't need any help at all, it was the only window I had to have him alone." he began as he sat down on the chair.

"He looked over my notes and we kind of got on the wrong foot which almost cost me my only opportunity to be thrown out the window. But I managed to get it back and we began to go over my homework again." He thought about the event as he was speaking.

"He was trying to remember where he placed the books that we needed for the homework and as he just stood there... I-uh... I kissed him." he said and tried to hide his blush. "I pretended to have weak knees and fell on the ground I began to apologize to him."

"I thought he was going to yell at him or give me detention but he didn't. He actually surprised me by bending down and kissing me again. This time, I held on to him and he kissed me back." he smirked. "Then Professor Jackson came along like being on queue and he caught us." he said with a triumphant tone.

"Professor McKinney went after Professor Jackson and they had a short fight and before they could finish, I left and came here. I was careful as I came here, thinking that they might have followed me. But they didn't." he ended. He hoped she was satisfied.

She listened to his explanation and was amazed that everything did fall into place on its own. Andrew really was the right choice for her plan. She knew that he was a step better than the rest of her male snakes.

Then Minna stared at Andrew. Did she hear him right? "You kissed him?... And he kissed you back?" she repeated what he told her just to make sure that she heard him right. Then a smirk came across her face. She gave him a soft clap.

"Well done, Maxwell. Very well done. I didn't expect that you would have done such a risky move but it worked well for you. I was glad to have chosen you to do the task then. I could not have chosen anyone else." she told him.

"By the way, did Chase leave McKinney just like that? Without a slap at least?" she asked. She just had to ask. It was too good to miss.

Andrew was glad that his explanation was enough to satisfy his Head of House. And he was glad that she didn't ask how he felt the whole time. He thought that she was going to pry but she seemed happy already.

"No, he just cried and Professor McKinney ran after him. Professor Jackson was really hurt, Professor Minna. I've never seen anyone cry the way the Head Lion did. It was just devastating." he told her and looked like he was now sorry.

Andrew was beginning to grow a conscience. But he knew better than to nurture it. He was a Slytherin and no Slytherin regrets their actions. But then again, he always did say he was different. But from the looks of it, he was no better than any Slytherin in his house.

Minna was actually sorry that Chase had to get hurt. But sacrifices had to be made in order to achieve success. Minna had to make it up to Chase somehow. But then she could read Andrew's face. She knew the face well. She used to see it often on Maryn when they were in their first year.

"Don't think about it too much, Maxwell. McKinney had it coming for what he did. You were merely the bridge used for me to have extracted my revenge. Think that it wasn't you who really did it. You were just used. It'll be better for you." she told him.

She came closer to him, "You are a slytherin. Remember that. Everything we do has a reason and we never do anything that doesn't give something back." she told him as his Head of House.

Andrew knew that his Head of House was right. He was just a pawn in her plans. It was better that way. It lifted his burden a bit. He didn't feel that bad anymore. But he couldn't forget how Chase looked. It was just wrong to have been in that state.

Andrew stood up and faced his Head of House, "I shall head back to my room now, Professor. I had a tough evening. And I need to forgot how everything happened." he told her and left. He didn't want to have to do anything like what he did earlier again. It wasn't a great feeling to have.
