Andrew entered Zonko's for no apparent reason. It would be the last place he wanted to be. But for some divine purpose, he was there. He sighed and slowly went around the shop. He didn't know why he was there nor why he was even bothering to walk around the shop.

He was near the corner when he saw something, rather someone that caught his attention. A young boy, obviously from Hogwarts. He knew that from the look of the child, he was a first year. A sneaky first year. Andrew wondered from which house he was from. He slowly went closer to the boy and bended low to talk to him.

"I don't know how you got out and made it all the way here, but I'm definitely sure your a first year. I admire you for having come this far on your own. You are alone right? No other first years running around Hogmead unattended?" he asked the young boy. "Second, you seem to trying to blend in. I have to tell you, its not really working very well for you. It's kind of obvious." he added.

He smiled at the boy and stretched his hand out, "I'm Andrew Sebastian Maxwell of Slytherin House. Seventh year. You are?" he didn't know why but he seemed to like the little wizard. Maybe because he was able to get out and come without being noticed.

[/i] the young Lion thought to himself excitedly.

"Yup, I'm a firstie, the only one brave enough to escape from school too. I did offer a few people but they said no... So, yeah, I'm alone." Tommy replied brightly, shrugging his shoulders a little, "Well, it's worked okay... ish. So far, anyway. Professor McKinney didn't notice me, or anyone else. Apart from you right now, obviously."

Grinning wider than before, Tommy took Andrew's hand a shook it enthusiastically, "I'm Tommy Ellis, from Gryffindor."
Tommy was about to ask if Andrew knew he friend Blaze, another Slytherin seventh year but didn't get the chance when he was interrupted by an angry hiss.

"Oh, hey, Proffie M!" Tommy waved a hand at his elder brother. Since Tommy had revealed to Brent that they were in fact brothers (and had also promised not to tell anybody) he hadn't really spoken to him at all. He had a slight suspicion that Brent was avoiding him too. "I'm just looking around. I managed to sneak out. But, oh yeah, I could've just used the secret passageway to get here!" Tommy face-palmed, he couldn't believe he'd forgotten the most obvious way to get to Hogsmeade![/color][/ul]

Andrew smiled at the little boy. Tommy Ellis of Gryffindor eh? How strange for Andrew to have noticed such a boy from their rival house. But then again, he didn't care much for the inter house rivalry. He found it stupid really.

"You're a brave little lion to have gone out on your own. What would you have done if you got caught by a teacher? I doubt you can buy yourself an escape route then." he told the young lion cub. He couldn't think of any way he was going to escape detention if he was going to get caught.

Just then, as he stood up and turned around, he saw Professor McKinney. He looked mad and Andrew knew that it wasn't towards him. "Good day, Professor McKinney." Andrew greeted and politely bowed at the man who might blow a fuse in the next few seconds.

"Professor, I found him here alone. Should I take him back to the castle?" Andrew asked. "If so, would it be alright if I could bring him with me to buy a few more things before heading back? I will take full responsibility for him." Andrew sounded confident. And it obviously showed.

[/i] to you, not 'Proffie M'." he snapped. Really, Brent really wasn't too bothered about the nickname. It wasn't appropriate in the current situation though.

It was times like this when Brent got extremely irritated with his younger brother. "You." he pointed his index finger at Tommy, "Are in big trouble."

Brent frowned at Andrew. He really wanted to look after... that? But at least Tommy would be off Brent's hands for a while... Which really would be a miracle. It wasn't that Brent disliked the first year, it was just that he felt uncomfortable when with him.

"Yeah, yeah, fine." he sighed, "Just bring him straight to my office when you get back, okay?"[/color][/font][/ul]

[/i]." Tommy beamed. It was a little strange though, Brent had never been bothered by 'Proffie M' before. Oh... before he found out about the whole them being brothers. It still didn't make much sense though, did it? "Oh, and I know. Obviously... since I, like, escaped out here when I really wasn't allowed. Not that I really mind, it was worth it in the end!"

Tommy clutched Andrew's arm tightly and grinned up at him. "Thank you, Mister Snakey!" then directed his grin to his brother, "You too, Professor. Not about the having Mister Snakey bring me to your office after wards though 'cause you're probably gonna lecture me then give me, like, fifty-six billion detentions. Ah, oh well. At least I completed my goal of wanting to get to Hogsmeade..."[/color][/ul]

Andrew was relieved that Professor McKinney agreed to let Tommy tag along with him. "I shall deliver him to your office once we arrive at Hogwarts later, Professor." Andrew said and bowed politely.

He then turned to Tommy with a smile, "You can call me either Sebastian or Andrew. Mr. Snakey doesn't sound so appealing and it might sent shivers to those who might hear." he told Tommy.

He held out his hand at Tommy, "Shall we leave now? I promise to buy you sweets after we do a few errands of mine." Andrew said, smiling warmly at Tommy. This child was easy to be around with.

"Before I forget, do you know anyone else from your higher years that can help you avoid having detention with Professor McKinney. Any sixth or seventh year? I think that if they talk to the professor, they might convince him to change his mind about giving you detention." he added.

[/i]!" he giggled. Really, Tommy and sugar combined were a nightmare. It was really too bad that Tommy had such an addiction to sugar.

"Maybe Blaze?" Tommy shrugged sighing a little, "I don't think she'll be able to talk him out of it though... he's really stubborn like that..."
Tommy didn't particularly mind another detention as he'd hopefully be able to talk to his brother and he was so used to them by now anyway. He just hoped that maybe Brent would be in a good mood for once...[/color][/ul]

Andrew smirked as he watched the teacher walk away and leave him with Tommy. Then he turned back to the little boy when he mentioned Blaze. The Blaze Livington of Slytherin? How could that possibly happen?

Andrew looked at Tommy strangely. "Blaze? You mean Sophia Blaze Livington of Slytherin? How come you know her? And what makes you sure that she would speak on your behalf? From what I know, she doesn't talk to other students aside from her cousin who is in Ravenclaw and to us who are in her year." he told her.

"You must be mistaken. Blaze would never be friendly with first years, must less to you who is from Gryffindor. She doesn't approve of them really." he added.

Then Andrew smiled, "You can call me Mister Snakey when there is no one else around. But you have to call me Andrew or Sebastian when we are in public. They might laugh at me and I don't like to be laughed at." he said.

Tommy pouted a little and insisted that he was perfectly sure of what he was saying, "I'm sure of it, Mister Snakey! Honestly!"

Deciding that this would be fair, Tommy nodded his head in agreement. "Yeah, okay! I guess I can deal with that!" he replied brightly. Tommy doubted he would even remember any of this agreement though and would just stick to always calling Andrew Mister Snakey. He wanted to try his best to remember though.

Tommy had been standing around for too long and started jumping up and down on the spot. "Hey, can we gooo now?"[/color][/ul]

Andrew took a step back when Tommy made his point. He was steadfast and sure that the Blaze he knew and the Blaze that Andrew were the one and the same. He had to see for himself if Tommy really meant Blaze Livington of Slytherin. It was too hard to believe.

Then, Andrew soften his smile and offered his hand to Tommy. "Very well.. If you say that you know Blaze then I shall believe you." he told him warmly.

"We should really go if we plan to finish all my errands before the night befalls us. Come, brave cub. We have to by a cake for someone first. Then, we'll by the sweets I promised you." he told him with a big smile.

Andrew wondered what he ought to tell Tommy. It was no one's birthday. But he wanted to buy a 'good luck'' cake for Blake. They needed all the support he could get. Then Andrew smiled and turned to look at Tommy. They were standing outside Zonko's now.

"It's no one's birthday really. I wanted to buy a cake for a friend to make him feel better. He hasn't been himself since his been very worried about something." he told the lion cub. He didn't have to worry whether he was being too honest or not. Tommy was a little boy.

"How about you? When is your birthday? Since we're friends now, I'll buy you a gift for your birthday when it comes." he said and smiled. Tommy was easy to be around with and lifted whatever uneasiness Andrew was feeling. "This little lion cub is certainly special. And a handful too."" he told himself.

"So, tell me about this Blaze you speak of. What does she look like? How does she act around you? She seems really nice for a Seventh Year snake. Most of the ones I know are either mean, cold, or non-caring." he spoke as he looked left and right before stepping out.
