Charlotte had never been more nervous in her life. It was one thing to talk about doing something, but another entirely to actually execute the plan.
Walking the Hogwarts Grounds seem to drag on endlessly, looking around nervously Charlotte was suddenly hit with the reason she had left the wizarding world years previously.

Chase was actually extremely nervous to have Charlotte meet Brent. He had sent her an owl asking her if they were still on with a time and place to meet. Chase had decided to make it after their Spring Break since that was easier. Chase was now walking there. He had told Brent later where and when to meet as well, and Chase hoped he wasn't too late. Knowing Brent, he would be. Life was amazing since Chase had last talked tot to Charlotte. Him and Brent were together. Life was amazing.
Walking there, Chase saw Charlotte waiting. He greeted her with a huge smile. A warm welcoming one. One that hadn't left Chase's face since the day Brent and him got together. Did he mention life was amazing?
"Afternoon, Char!" Chase exclaimed as he got closer to her to hug her tight. Making sure she felt welcome at Hogwarts.
OOC: I'm making this a little later than what we planned in the other thread. I'm making it after Hogwarts Break because that's when Chase and Brent got together.

Charlotte blinked. One moment she was wrapped up in her thoughts and regretting her decision, when suddenly Chase was there and pulling her in, numbly she succumbed to the contact before pulling away when she heard someone else's voice.
Charlotte gave a half smile in response, she hadn't quite specified the time of day so logically Brent wasn't late, however she wasn't sure how to convey that without sounding...overbearing? She tried to give excuses to the part of her brain that told her that she should hate Brent, but Charlotte shoved it aside, she had to play nice, if only for Chase's sake.
"Hello, you must be Brent, I'm Charlotte." Charlotte instinctively stuck out her hand to shake before deciding to forego and launched at Brent as if he were Chase.
Almost immediately she let go and turned to Chase, and began poking him.
"Afternoon? Hardly a proper greeting to greet your friend!"

Chase smiled when Brent finally made it down to them. "Of course not. Well. Not any later than you normally are of course." Chase smirked at Brent. He was then surprised when Char had given Brent a hug. Here he was thinking that Charlotte was about to lay into Brent about cheating on Maryn and she had hugged him.
"Well look at you being all friendly!" Chase said with a small last and a smirk on his face. He felt good about having his boyfriend and friend together to hang out. Too bad he hadn't told Brent Charlotte wanted to see the animals. He'd learn to deal with it. Hopefully.
"Hey! I hugged you didn't I! Isn't that a greeting too! Stop poking me, woman!" Chase said before grabbing her wrist that was poking her and the other one as well to stop her and held them above her head.
"Look what I caught Brenty-boo!"

Charlotte took a step back and surveyed the two men. Nickname aside from a stranger's point of view they could very well be just two friends, but she knew better.
So she smiled.
"I suppose..." Charlotte responded coyly, willing herself to have a little fun, it wasn't every day that she met one of her closest friend's...boyfriend? That led to her next question.
"Likewise, now what are you two?" Charlotte stuck out her arms and pointed with both of her index fingers to emphasize her point.

"Oh yeah. If you're not late for anything, then I'm merlin." Chase rolled his eyes at Brent. He was late for almost everything. But it was Brent. Chase was used to it. He found it cute. He didn't know why though.
When Charlotte asked what they were, Chase looked over to Brent. He knew what they were. They were boyfriends. But he didn't know if Brent wanted it out quite yet... This would be Brent's call if he wanted to tell her whether they were dating or not. So Chase looked at Brent to reply and mumbled a "Well... er. Yeah..." to Charlotte. He didn't want to make Brent feel uncomfortable about anything or whatever. He wanted to go at Brent's pace with this relationship. So he'd obey whatever Brent wanted to do or say.

Feeling a little awkward, he nodded in agreement with what Chase had said and said nothing more. What else was he supposed to say?[/ul]
