hello, my name is Makar Zigy Germanotta and i am 16 years old. i currently go to Hogwarts and am in my 6th year. when i was first year, i got sorted into Hufflepuff. some people like to call me Makarchik, but i honestly hate it when anyone calls me Zigzag. my birthday is on November 24 and my favourite time of the year is Spring.

Makar was born to couple in a dying marriage. Not really the best family to be born in but at least he was born into a rich family so he lived a rather luxurious life before he got his letter into Hogwarts. When Makar was 9 his parents decided to adopt a child, hoping that it would save their relationship or perhaps ease the burden of their son but, really, it would have been better if they didn't.
Makar and Gabrielle (aka Gabbie) acted slightly awkward around each other first but they soon found comfort in each others company. The two of them trusted each other and went along, trying to survive. The relationship between Vlad and Mina had gotten worse and worse as the two of them grew up. Things even started to get abusive for the kids but no one said anything. Appearances were always the most important. In all honesty, during this time, Gabbie had gotten the worse of the abuse but never complained though Makar did. She just loved him that much and that didn't change when the both of them got their letter to Hogwarts.
When they both got their letters their parents were, of course, rather confused but allowed their kids to go to this school of witchcraft and wizardry, telling the public that they had sent their kids to some prestige boarding school in the UK. The two of them went to Hogwarts, happy to escape their parents. Gabbie especially.
However his story does not end there. One of the most important events that changed him only happened a few months ago. Gabbie had committed suicide 2 months after the new school year had started. Makar was broken. Devastated. The one he loved the most was gone. His best friend and sister and comforter had killed herself. The 6th year blamed himself for everything and with good reason. He saw and knew something was up with his adopted kin but didn't do anything. Nothing. Though she had always been there for him he wasn't able to be there for her that one time and, now, she was gone. Forever. And there's nothing he can do to bring her back.

I'm not even gonna lie... Makar can be a jerk, an idiot and acts/speaks before he thinks. He can be extremely mean if he wants to be and isn't afraid to go the extremes. He's considered quite weird to others but those who actually know him know that he's more than a Gaga obsessed freak. He can be caring and loving, respectful even, though very, very few see this side of him. All the really mean things that he does to his friends really do have a purpose. He's lonely. He does those things for attention. Even though he is willing to go to extremes and is strange he's strange in a good, unique way. Makar is his own self and he's not ever letting you forget this. Despite everything I had just said about him, around his parents, he's a different person. He's quiet, submissive and will always look extremely tired and somewhat angry at the world...
