history;
Jackie comes from an Italian family that has amassed a notable wealth from their vineyards scattered all over the Tuscan region. They specialize in the production of a variety of white wine called Vermentino. The family business has been passed down through the generations, Jackie being next in line, but the young man wishes to have nothing to do with it and never has. His father has driven the business with a firm hand and only Jackie really knows just how far the man can go to assure that the family business thrives. All this was made easier due to the magical blood that flows in the family line, Jackie being no exception.
His animagus is a Common Wood Pigeon, a bird that can be seen on his family's crest since it appears every so often in the Piazza bloodline. He found out when he was only small, around seven years of age, but when it happened he didn't freak all that much - his father had warned him that it was a possibility. Some weekends, young Jackie would just enjoy transforming into a pigeon and fly away into town to watch people go about their daily things. He finds it entertaining in a way to peer into others' lives. That was until his father caught him and gave him the scolding of a lifetime. Jackie was forbidden to venture outside the family grounds in his animagi form.
At the age of eleven, he was carted off to a magical school hidden deep in the Alps and was there for a few years. When it was time to sit his NEWTS, Jackie was sent to Hogwarts - his parents thinking that it would be best if he sat them in a more prestigious school. He was only there to sit the exams, not attend class, so he wasn't sorted or anything like that. But it was still enough time to meet a few people - one of those people being a boy called Alexander Torres. In a way, the boy represented everything that his parents forbade him to do back home. He partied lots, he didn't care and there was a peculiar beauty to his carefree nature. After a whirlwind romance of a weekend and a couple of days, Jackie flew back home.
Jackie acquired enough NEWTS to get a decent job for himself, but he never did and was pressured into tending for the family business by his father. He quickly learnt the tricks of the trade and soon became as cold as his father when it came to negotiating. A short while after, this bitter façade stretched past just business matters and affected his daily life.
Such a stone cold man he became that when his mother passed away after a gruelling battle with an illness, Jackie didn't even bat an eyelid. These things happened. Life was a flowing river, you could divert the waters but you'd never be able to stop it. A few years after, Jackie's father retired and he was given full control of the business.
Jackie managed it well but soon began to crave a change in his life. He was tired of paperwork, tired of grapes and wine tasting. He wanted something different. Jackie began to do some research on the Alexander character he left back in England, just out of curiosity - maybe the guy would remember him and point him in the right direction. Having money, it really wasn't too hard to find him. So a short while after, Jackie packed a few possessions and left for England for the change in life he wanted a taste of.
all that matters is the present ,
personality;
In his teenage years, Jackie was a cheerful guy, always with a smile and quite the joker. But these past few years under his father's tutoring, he's changed terribly. Only a trace of his former self remains. Now he's quite the cold character and likes things to go his way. If something is out of his control, it angers him to no end. What he can't control can only cause him trouble. He's never really fallen in love and deems himself incapable of it. He had what he guessed was a girlfriend on returning after sitting his NEWTS in England but it turned out to be nothing worthwhile.

[His heart was thrumming in his chest. The beat was constant, calm and even. Yet it beat firmly enough for the man feel it vibrate throughout his body. This was probably the only notable notion of the panic that was steadily growing that he could feel. Jackie made a bridge with his hands and leaned backwards into the leather armchair. You do not show distress. And you do not let them know when they have you cornered. To do so would be the first step to losing.
"I understand." Jackie grunted, his voice was monotonous but lacked the gruff note his father had after years of smoking. He was working on it though. He lifted his hand to slip the tobacco stick from between his lips, blowing out a long puff of grey in the direction of the three men stood on the other side of his grand, oak desk. "You will have an answer within the week."
Jackie swivelled around in his chair to gaze out the large bay window that was, coupled with the desk, the main feature of his office. This was a signal for the men to leave and they went without another word. Only when he heard the door close with a muffled clunk did Jackie breathe a heavy sigh which left him deflated and a shadow of the big man he played before business interests. His father had left him with more than just few problems on his plate. Jackie grumbled and stubbed out the cigarette on a silver plate that he juggled on his knee. This was going to prove a long week indeed. ]
