London was proving to be a completely new experience to Jackie. He had been down town in Italy many times but no visit compared to this. This was something surreal - he had never been in a neighbourhood where wizardry was flaunted openly. Jackie had only ever been to the odd shop or small street but never a whole high street comprised of solely magical shops. It was incredible.
Jackie had been wandering the main street for the past hour, just peering amazed at the colourful stands that each shop had to offer. But, after a while, he had been drawn to a line of shops that were away from the crowds. This alleyway was cooler in temperature and had a gloomy feeling lingering in the air. Jackie enjoyed it.
Squinting his eyes, Jackie observed a particularly gruesome looking artefact through a grimy, almost translucent window. Was this thing even legal? It certainly looked rather dangerous. Jackie smirked at his reflection in the window - something like that wouldn't look out of place on his desk back home.

Scorpius sighed. He did that a lot, he didn't like it, but it was habitual, he had no control over it and it seemed as time passed he sighed more frequently. Once again he had relented the urge to spite his father, but, his mother had been furious (for the first time, at least about something to do with his father and him). Scorpius had no idea how his father felt, he had bolted as soon as he spotted his mother's glare.
Knockturn Alley, Scorpius resisted the urge to turn around and run with his (non-existent) tail behind his legs, no one would look for him there, he had spent too many years trying to prove himself different than his father, and Knockturn Alley would simply reiterate prejudiced beliefs, it was the perfect hideout.
Curious, he thought, wizards and witches alike never openly glanced at a shop in Knockturn Alley, it was too suspicious. He must be foreign, Scorpius thought grimly. Despite all the "reforms" it had been subjected to the Ministry remained partisan throughout it all, not out in the open (in regards to muggleborns, muggles and halfbloods), but through whispers. Relations between Britain and the rest of the world were fragile, that, Scorpius knew (his mother enjoyed, unlike other pureblood women, reading up upon the world's state, specifically related to Britain that is, and often informed him of such matters, for reasons he still didn't understand).
Scorpius squared his shoulders and tapped swiftly on the man's (he hoped it was a man at least, it was no good to offend strangers with no reason) shoulder. Calling out was too risky, unnecessary attention might be drawn to him Scorpius knew.

Jackie had moved on to inspect a mysterious looking object. It was a silver circle that had engravings etched all along it, it stood on four silver legs and had no other distinguishing features. It was rather intriguing. Jackie wondered whatever its purpose could be. He had a few gruesome ideas though. The one which appealed to him most was the one of the artefact desintegrating anything that passed through the empty space in the middle; wood, stone, paper, flesh, you name it. It'd desintegrate it all.
About to peer at another item that tickled his interest, Jackie felt someone tap his shoulder. He furrowed his eyebrows and turned his head slowly to eye the stranger. They seemed a bit young and fresh-faced to be a dealer on the black market, maybe it was just a child that had gotten lost? Jackie wasn't sure if many parents would honestly allow their offspring to wander these streets.
"Ciao, child." Jackie said, just loud enough to be heared over the mutterings and callings of fellow shoppers. The corner of his mouth twitched in what was possibly an amused smile. This boy had to be around mid-teens at best. Why the goblin would he be here in a murky alleyway? "May I help you?"

Scorpius slowly raised an eyebrow.
"Ciao signore il mio nome è Scorpius Malfoy."
Finally, Scorpius found some use in all those languages his parents (well, mainly his mother) had forced upon him as a child, he just hoped he was speaking Italian, not Spanish or some other language that would no doubt confuse not only him but the other guy.
Before he could continue however he heard English, which just made him annoyed, in Scorpius' opinion if you could speak a common tongue, you must understand the common signs.
"You stupid idiot, do you know what Knockturn Alley is?" Scorpius hissed loudly, much to his frustration, as he definitely did not want to attract attention to himself. However he couldn't help himself as he punched a wall, when he felt the full force of the impact however he regretted his actions and cried out. The process is easier than the consequences, Scorpius thought.
OOC: Really, really sorry for the late reply Jenny!

Jackie let a pleasantly surprised smirk twitch the corners of his mouth. It was always nice when he bumped into someone that introduced themselves in Jackie's native tongue. "Jackie Piazza." The Italian replied with a small bob of his head. Malfoy. Now that was a family name he had heard more than a couple of times. Not very recently though. But this was a lovely surprise, he never thought he'd actually bump into one of the Malfoy bloodline during his stay.
Shame though that this particular Malfoy had quite the lip on him. But then what did he expect? Jackie didn't let it get to him though. He merely folded his arms and looked amused. "Yes, I am aware of what Knockturn Alley is... is there a problem, Malfoy?" Jackie smiled, peering back through the murky window with renewed interest. "How do you know I'm not just a tourist that just wishes to see one of London's most imfamous streets? As they say... there's no harm in looking."
Jackie frowned when the boy drove his fist into the wall. It looked as though it would've hurt yet the man didn't inquire on how Scorpius' knuckles were. This boy was quite the character with his seemingly foul attitude. Someone ought to do something about it. Firm words and firmer hands; that was the way to obedience. "Temper, temper..." Jackie chided softly with a small chuckle. "Why so irked, little one? The alley getting to you?"

Scorpius narrowed his eyes.
"Well Jackie Pizza, I think you'll find that in fact there is a problem..." Scorpius wasn't quite sure as how to finish that sentence as he had to begin it. There was a stranger, a foreign stranger, one that could potentially burden himself with suspicion for the rest of his time in England and Scorpius was talking to him because...well because Scorpius wanted to talk to someone who didn't know him on sight and judged him based on actions not performed by himself, but rather his parents, even his grandparents, but never him.
And then Scorpius sighed.
"I just, look just pretend that I don't know you and you don't know me, forget that I said I'm Scorpius Malfoy, I'm just Scorpius, and I'm tired. I'm sixteen and I'm going to rant if I don't stop myself. And yes, the alley "irks" me. Knockturn Alley is..." Scorpius didn't know how to finish that sentence either.
Then, out of the blue, Scorpius smiled.
"You know what? Screw it. Fuck it. I'm Scorpius Malfoy and I'm fucking proud of it, Jackie Piazza thank you. Thank you for doing me a favour."
Scorpius then resisted the urge to run out of Knockturn Alley, because he was grateful, he was a Malfoy, he had to deal with things as they came, because the consequences for not could be worse. That was one thing he had to thank his father for, thought Scorpius.
"D'you know what? How about we start over. Yes I'm Scorpius Malfoy and you're Jackie Piazza, my Mum's Welsh and my Dad's fucked up! How about that eh?"
