going to agree. "Of course." Maryn smirked, anyway possible the two old friends were going to make sure of that. Maryn's smirk grew in size. "And, of course, they will have to hear the heart-breaking story of how the selfish father of my child abandoned us both after declaring how he was only committed to his precious little boyfriend."[/ul]

Minna took a deep breath, "Vladimir is simple enough. He just wants to belong. Now he will belong with us." Minna began to explain. Her face turned serious. "However, Turner is far from simple. And I have a feeling that I can guess right what he wants in return." she then turned to Maryn.
"And let me tell you, it's not something simple. It's big and would probably involve me. That much I know. He keeps popping up everywhere I go at Hogwarts." she explained to Maryn so that she'd have a clue what Turner could want as well.
"Vladimir will be the least of our problems. Having them to agree to helping is what we should worry about. We don't have to tell them a fake story. For them to help us, they should know the truth. And I for one have already, probably turned Turner's trust or loyalty to our side." she said confidently.
"We'll have to make things up as we go. This plan will be the first that I myself have no control over since it will involve other people aside from ourselves." she added.

Minna's eye twitched when Maryn said her theory out loud. She couldn't even say it out right in her own mind but Maryn did. "I hope not, Mary. Because I find him appalling and distasteful. his very presence makes me want to hex my whole house into the next century." Minna said as her hands curled into fists.
"I don't know what he wants directly but for both our sakes, Turner better not want me or I will castrate him with a dull wooden spoon myself." she threatened. Then she inhaled and exhaled to calm down. She didn't want to scare her elves and destroy the house. with her anger.
"I can't say I know them better, but since I ran into them more often than you do, I can say that I have a vague idea how each of them might react. McArthur might just love to belong but I can never say the same thing for Turner. Than man needs to be watched. Carefully and quietly." she said.
Minna then remembered her plan of revenge on Brent. She wondered how that went. She had yet to hear from Andrew and she was expecting good results from her own house. She just had to smirk, an evil smirk to be exact.

Minna didn't like the smirk that was on Maryn's lips. She was clearly trying not to laugh at her statement about Turner. Ugh! That man will be the cause of her death at a young age because of anger issue. She'll probably pop a vein anytime soon.
"I'm leaving you in charge of Turner. Find out what he wants and I'll see to MacArthur. As much as possible, I do not want to be anywhere near that flying instructor. He makes my blood boil just by the mere glance of his presence. Argh!" Minna said as she stomped her foot. It had been quite long since she had a temper tantrum.
Then she gathered herself and smirked at Maryn. "You know, I just remembered that I sent someone to destroy your ex-husband's reputation on Jackson. And as I recall, it went better than I thought it would." she smirked as she crossed her arms.

going to be the one dealing with him for now, not you." she smiled comfortingly at her best friend. She didn't like seeing Minna so angry. There were only a select few people that could make her loose her temper like this with such ease. Maryn wanted Minna to calm down just incase she ended up doing something stupid. Maryn was glad to hear that whatever Minna had set out to do to ruin Brent and Chase, it had worked well. Or better than Minna had thought at least which suggested that nothing disasterous to them had happened. "Oh, really?" Maryn beamed excitedly, wanting to know how Minna had gone about this, "What happened then?"[/ul]

Minna smirked, "I sent someone to make Brent get in trouble with Chase. Let's just say that my pawn did even better than I thought. Brent kissed him and Chase saw it with his own two eyes." Minna laughed. She was glad that Brent got caught red handed.
"I was told that Chase was crying and everything. However, it seemed enough for me. Since McKinney and Chase had fought. I hope it would take them long to get back together. If they get back together that is." Minna added before sitting back down on her arm chair.
"Yes, take charge of Turner. If I do, I might just strangle with my bare hands." she told him as she crossed her arms. She really didn't like the man at all.

Maryn thought as she rolled her eyes. She was surprised he'd ever had the decency to admit to her what was going on. But she'd told him he and Jackson wouldn't last, considering his track record. He was pathetic. He couldn't even be trusted by his own best friend, let alone his wife. "That's great news. I wouldn't have expected any better of him, the idiot." she smiled, grateful to Minna for arranging all of this, "Hopefully Jackson will see sense and just leave him, any sane person would. I think he's unable to have a stable relationship... not for long anyway. He'd mess it up because he's Brent McKinney and that's what he does best." she growled venomously. The more she thought about her ex-husband these days, the more she realised what I fool she was to love him, to ever have loved him. But there was still that something about him... "Yes, I'll get on with everything as soon as possible." she nodded, not wanting to think any deeper into what she thought of that pathetic Mudblood.[/ul]

Minna turned away and looked out the window, "However, I do feel a little sad for Jackson. He was just a victim in all this. My pawn had told me that Jackson cried and it was just heart breaking, just like when you came to me and cried. I didn't want to have Jackson suffer but it was a sacrifice since he he was going out with McKinney." she told Maryn.
She did feel sorry for Chase. Minna didn't want him to have been hurt that bad but since he was the other party of the relationship that broke Maryn's heart, Chase had to get hurt. But that didn't mean Minna wanted to do it on purpose. Chase was a good man. It wasn't his fault why he fell in love with McKinney.
Minna sighed in frustration. "Sacrifices had to be made. Since the beginning of time, sacrifices had been a necessity for survival and revenge. That hasn't changed up 'til now. It only got harder." Minna spoke sternly.

want to make Jackson suffer? Well, why on earth not?" Maryn cried, a deep frown etched upon her pale features. She couldn't think for the life of her why Minna wouldn't want Jackson to get hurt by this. Everything that had happened between her, Brent and Chase was as much his fault as it was Brent's. He knew Brent was married. He'd still gone and had an affair though, hadn't he? Not to mention that her and Chase had never actually gotten along at any point in their lives anyway. "Hurting Jackson has never been a sacrifice. It has been a goal." Maryn spoke just as sternly as Minna just had done. She honestly didn't know why Minna was sticking up for the Gryffindor head in the first place. It just didn't make sense.[/ul]

Minna expected the reaction from Maryn. She couldn't blame her. "You see, Jackson might have been in love with your ex-husband but played nicely since he respected you but it was McKinney's fault. All of it. If he just didn't swing the other way and remained married to you, none of this would have happened. Jackson might actually meet someone else and fall for him." she explained.
She sighed, "But let's not dwell on that fact that I feel sorry for Jackson, shall we? All I want is to kill or skin that mudblood alive!" Minna hissed. She hated every fiber of Brent McKinney and for that very reason, she wanted to ruin every second of his life whether it makes Jackson an enemy once more.

"Like I said, let's not dwell on that subject shall we? Besides, Jackson would be the least of our problems. What we have to focus on is that mudblood ex-husband of yours. None of these things would happen if he just kept quiet and not blab it out to the whole castle of what he really is." she hissed at the wind.
Minna had to get a grip. If she showed Chase any more sympathy, Maryn might get on her case and ask more questions. And that was the last thing Minna wanted as of the moment: being asked questions. She hated being interrogated like she had done something wrong.
"So, talking to Vlad shall be easy. Since he seems like an alright bloke. However, this coming weekend, you will keep Turner company. You shall not leave me with him alone no matter what happens, do you understand that, Maryn?" she told Maryn. It wasn't a request, it was an order.

." Maryn sighed deeply. Okay, so she was definitely going to stop bitching about Chase Jackson now. She wasn't going to waste another breath on that man... or at least she wouldn't until something else caused her to start on him again. And she didn't know how long it would be until that happened. Maryn did a bad job of hiding her smirk as Minna ordered her not to leave the Head of Slytherin alone with the flying instructor. "Of course, Minna." she nodded, knowing better than to refuse an order from her friend. Maryn was used to being ordered around by Minna from time to time after knowing her for as long as she had.[/ul]
