Andrew found himself alone in the sixth floor. He just had to get away from everyone and everything else. He was still thinking about the planned 'incident' against Professor McKinney and it was starting to grow on Andrew. He had never before seen someone cry because of a kiss. But then again, he never saw anyone cheat on someone that involved him.

He sighed and leaned back on the closed door. He knew he did it because he didn't want the other to suffer. Whatever Professor McKinney did to his head of house must have been very terrible for her to have done what she did. And she used Andrew for her plan.

"I did the right thing... And I did it for the sake of the other snakes too." to mentally told himself. He didn't do anything wrong. But why did he feel like he had a heavy burfen on his shoulders?

Alex had decided to head over to Hogwarts to check in on Chase and his new cat, Charlie. He wanted to make sure that the feline had settled down nicely in his new home. One of the only things that Alex disliked about visiting his friend was how his office was on the damn top floor - it meant climbing a whole bunch of stairs.

At the sixth floor, Alex slowed before his legs started cramping in protest at the exercise. If only they could apparate in here. Investing in some floo powder and forcing Chase to connect his fireplace to the network sounded like an awesome idea right now. Lost in his thoughts, Alex didn't immediately recognize a boy he spotted out of the corner of his eye. He took a double take. Andrew.

Alex's expression hardened. He hadn't forgotten what had happened between he and Brent. The memory of Chase appearing at his door as upset as he had never seen him before was fresh on his mind. Before the snake could see him, Alex stormed quietly up to him and placed a vicelike grip on his arm.
"Shut up. And don't say anything." Alex hissed, guiding him towards a door rather forcefully. "Alohomora" The door clicked and Alex wrenched it open, pushing the boy inside and locking it again behind them. He cast a silent Muffliato charm so they couldn't be overheard. Alex's temper could get rather loud.

Alex turned to face Andrew, arms folded across his chest and facing him full on. There was an undeniable angered flame flickering away in his normally soft toffee eyes. He breathed deeply through his nose. He was pissed.
"You know what this is about." Alex spat. "What the fuck were you thinking, boy? I'll give you one chance to speak the fuck up. Solo una oportunidad."

Andrew didn't know what had just happened but the appearance of an angry healer wasn't something he had expected as he was hiding out. He watched Alex destroying a door and pushing him inside before closing the door.

When Alex spoke, Andrew knew that Professor Chase had already spoken to him about the incident and Andrew had no plans to get his head of house into trouble with them. Because Andrew knew that she was going to be mad at him and the whole Slytherin house if he ratted her out.

He took a deep breath before crossing his own arms. He gave a stern look like he wasn't at fault. "If you must know what happened, Healer Torres, Professor McKinney came on to me." he hissed at Alex.

"I didn't do anything to him. I came to ask for his help concerning my homework and that was what I had in mind. Since he was the one giving the homework that was giving me a headache, who better than to ask for help." Andrew explained. There was no trace of nervousness at all.

"I didn't know what he was thinking but the next thing I knew, I was on the floor and Professor McKinney kissed me. And it wasn't a kiss I could have easily pushed away. He was on top of me and I was in no position to have moved either way." he told Alex.

Alex narrowed his eyes dangerously and they flashed momentarily. If he weren't in a school, and if Andrew were eighteen, Alex would most probably skipped this whole "talking" farce. The boy that stood before him had caused his best friend so much distress. He deserved worse than this.
"Are you fucking serious?" Alex barked. "I've known Brent for over a decade... you really expect me to bloody believe that he came onto you first?!" Alex threw his head back and scoffed a sarcastic laugh. He didn't even care that he was swearing - he loathed using those ugly words in English but he just didn't care right now.

"Do I look stupid to you?" Alex hissed, drumming his fingers impatiently on his upper arm. "Are you taking me for some sort of fucking fool?" He had his doubts that Brent would honestly make the first move. Andrew, was, well, a flirt. Alex remembered well how playful he had gotten with him the other day. Plus, Brent had just started going out with Chase again. There was no way his friend would honestly be that dim so to risk it all, including his job, for a kiss.

"What the fuck were you thinking, Andrew?" Alex's jaw clenched visibly. "Tyler know about this? What's he going to say?"

Andrew knew that ALex wasn't going to believe him dead on his first attempt. But he had to stick to his plan. There was so many things at stake. When Alex mentioned Tyler, he froze. He hadn't told Tyler yet. How was he going to say it? How?

"And you really think that I flirted with Professor McKinney? I wouldn't even look his way. I was merely asking him questions about my homework and smiled since it was the polite thing to do. We even got into a verbal disagreement when he first saw my homework." he told Alex, trying to remain calm.

"You think that I would actually flirt with any man I see, don't you? Just because I flirted with you during the party doesn't mean I do that to any man, Alex. I'm no whore. Tyler will know about it soon as I tell him. When I see him again, that is." he said as he rubbed his arms together.

He was now worried of losing Tyler. He'd probably go crazy.

Do you really think that I flirted with Professor McKinney? Yes. You think that I would actually flirt with any man I see, don't you? Yes again. And as for the whore comment... Alex would have to think about that one.
"I'm actually heading up to Gryffindor Tower right now... I could always pass the message along." Alex smiled sweetly and placed a hand on his hip which was cocked slightly. He knew how much Andrew liked Tyler. He could only imagine that what the lion thought about him would mean alot to him.

"And even in the case that Brent did go for the kiss first... why didn't you pull away, eh?" Alex tilted his head to the side, letting his eyes roam Andrew while he inspected him. "You knew that he was dating... you say you're no whore, but that's what one would do. I think I should know." The smile that tickled Alex's pink lips slipped away, tightening into a thin line. He was in a bitchy mood now. Going to find this Tyler boy just to screw things up for Andrew seemed like a great idea. After all, why not?

"I was at home when Chase came to see me. You fucked up my best friend." Alex hissed. "I think its only fair if I return the favor, don't you think?"

Andrew froze. "You wouldn't..." Andrew said without thinking. He was going to go insane. He couldn't afford to lose Tyler now. "And what? You'd destroy me with Tyler like how Professor McKinney destroyed himself with Professor Jackson? From what I heard, Professor McKinney cheated on Matron McKinney, or is it Matron Lovegood now?" he spoke again.

"What do you want me to do, Alex? Tell you that I did the first move and everything even if I didn't? You want to hear that I was the one who flirted? Is that what you wanted?" Andrew asked him with a tone. He wasn't going to burst, not here. Not ever.

Andrew smirked, "However, you already see me as a whore. And I know better that nothing I say will make you believe me. No one will. I'm just a student right? I'm just a boy in everyone's eyes." he said with a glare. "Go ahead, go and tell Tyler for me. Send him my love as well if you please. And if he comes to me and says he'll leave me, I'll make you remember me that you were the last one I was with before Tyler leaves me." he was already getting dizzy.

He was planning to head on over to the Astronomy tower and jump off. He didn't care about anything now. He didn't care if he'd die. Losing Tyler was going to be like death already.

"Oh but I would though." Alex peered down at his nails and began to check them out. The anger in his voice had subsided but it didn't mean that things were getting better. It just gave way to one of Alex's uglier sides. He knew that Brent wouldn't be stupid enough to make the first move. He knew that Andrew thought nothing of flirting. He knew that most Slytherins were well practised in the art of deceiving people.

"Tell me the truth and I won't do this." Last chance. Alex was already conjuring up a plan of action in his head. Strike up a friendship. Talk about guys. Gossip about Andrew. Even say that Alex had had a sort of tryst with him. If Reid were to find out, it wouldn't be too hard to prove himself. Veritaserum wasn't too hard to make.

"I wonder if you would of done this had you of known just how much I love Chase." Alex looked back up at Andrew, smiling again and with his head tilted to the side. He ran his fingers through his hair and slid his fedora on. "You don't mess with my friends. But don't worry. I have a bone to pick with Brent, too. You're not the only one I'm after."

Andrew didn't know what to think anymore. He was exhausted already. And his world was crumbling. The thought of losing Tyler was the only thing his mind seemed to be thinking. "I'm going to lose him... I'm going to lose Tyler..." he whispered to himself and then let out a small laugh.

"Nothing matters now, Alex. I don't care what you do. I didn't even know about you having a thing for Professor Jackson. But then again, I envy Professor Jackson. To have Professor McKinney and you caring for him seems wonderful... I wish I had people like that... But the only one I have will be gone soon enough..." he said in a low tone.

"Nothing I say will make you believe me, Alex. You're already hell bent on trying to make me say that it was really my fault when it isn't. Sad, judging me as a typical snake like everyone else. Nothing new there..." he said and looked away. He was going to kill himself.

"Nothing left for me now... Better just finish everything today before the sunsets... That's Tyler's favorite time of day... He'd probably be by the lake, on that very spot I met him... Watching the sunset... Alone... And I won't ever be back there after I leave this room..." he gave Alex a weak smile.

"But you have turned out to be a typical snake." Alex sneered, undeterred by the sudden gloom that clouded the teenager. "You knew they were dating. That didn't bother you. Would you like it if someone did that to you?" If Reid ever went ahead and kissed someone and Alex were to find out... he wasn't too sure what he'd do. Getting angry was a likely possibility.

And now Andrew was babbling on about sunsets and Tyler and... bleh, Alex wasn't paying attention - he'd found a beauty spot on the back of his hand that he hadn't seen before. It was interesting.
"Don't get like this now. You really thought everyone would just let it slide?" Alex said, prodding at the small, brown mark with a nimble finger. "Every action has a reaction. You're just learning the hard way."

Alex stopped gazing at his hand and hooked his thumb into the ring on his belt. He gave Andrew a shrug. He wasn't going to make him feel bad for what he was going to do to the boy. Heck, Andrew hadn't seen the state Chase had been in when he turned up at Alex's. Remembering his tears, anger boiled in his veins again. Chase was too much of a softie to make anyone pay. Alex wasn't.
"You made Chase hurt so much." Alex growled, his accent making it sound more like a purr though. "Its time someone taught you just how much heartache pains."

Andrew slowly shook his head. "I didn't mean to hurt the Professor... He wasn't supposed to be hurt... He's a nice man, isn't he?" Andrew asked unconsciously. His world was falling apart now. He didn't know what to do. He turned and saw a window at the other side of the room.

He walked over to the window and opened it. He was on the sixth floor and he didn't care if he was going to die right then and there. Alex was going to tell Tyler about what happened and Andrew didn't know how Tyler would take it. They weren't even that close yet. He sat on the window sill, his back facing the outside.

Andrew turned to look at Alex and gave a weak smile, "Please send Tyler my love and please tell Professor Jackson that I'm really sorry. My world has began to crumble already. Thanks for everything, Alex." Andrew closed his eyes, and just wanted to lean back to fall to his death.

"Chase is one of the nicest guys I've ever had the pleasure of knowing." Alex growled, narrowing his eyes as he watched Andrew make his way up to the window. "A nice guy who didn't deserve any of this." He put extra stress on the word "any". Chase was a good man who only did good. He'd had a troubled past and, for once, it looked like things were going right for him. But, of course, things are never simple.

"If you knew Chase... you just... he... ah, fucking forget it." Alex dismissed the sentence with an impatient wave of his hand. "What does it matter now? You've done the damage." The Spaniard exhaled lightly on feeling a soft breeze whisper through his hair. It was cooling and aired the room, lifting a bit of the tense atmosphere that hung heavily.

"And no. I am not apologizing to Chase for you!" He looked the boy up and down with contempt raging in his deep, amber peepers. He was not doing this teen any favours whatsoever. He didn't deserve them. Alex scoffed a small laugh and folded his arms. "I have no idea why you're thanking me. You brought this all on yourself. Why on earth would you do such a thing being so infatuated with another, hm?"

Andrew just kept smiling. He didn't really care if Alex was going to apologize to Chase for him or not. But Andrew knew that Alex was dead serious when he said he was going to tell Tyler. And that was something Andrew might not take too well.

"If you won't apologize to him for me, its alright, Alex. It won't matter now anyway. But thank you still for being a nice friend when we met." was all he said before he leaned back on the windowsill, his back out of the window already. He was planning to just die then and there.

Andrew knew that his parents were going to be disappointed but he didn't care. He was going to die anyway so opinions of other people won't reach him.

Was Andrew a complete idiot? Or he just didn't care? He'd had this dopey smile on his face for a while now and it was a bit annoying. Alex could deal with anger, tears, frustration and all those things but it annoyed him to no end when they acted like Andrew right now. And the snake was being weird, too. He was saying peculiar things.

The more Andrew leaned back, the more Alex's eyes widened. Reacting on instinct, the skinny young man lurched forward and grabbed the boy by his collar. Thank you body for adrenaline - it'd probably be the only way he'd be able to stop the Slytherin from falling into nothing.
"Qué coño estás pensando?!" Alex yelled, resting on hand on the window pane to give himself leverage to heave the boy inside. With one mighty tug, he pulled the boy to what he hoped was the floor.

Alex breathed heavily, flushed in the face. Scared. He'd never meant for Andrew to actually want to kill himself. That was surely a punishment way too severe for his crime. And there was no way that Alex wanted a kid's suicide on his conscience. With a hiss, the Spaniard channelled his upset into anger - it was the only way he knew how to affront these dire situations.
"What game do you think you're playing at, fucker?" Alex growled, narrowing his eyes but positioning himself by the window. "Trying to throw yourself on the window? Honestly? No one. I repeat, no one, should die for the sake of a teenage crush."

Andrew didn't know why he was still alive. He wanted nothing more than just to be dead. The guilt wasn't much but if Tyler knew what he did, that was something Andrew wasn't sure he'd want to see.

The next thing he knew, he was on the floor and Alex was yelling at him. "Por qué me salvaste? I won't want to be alive to hear Tyler say that he now hates me after you go and tell him what happened!" Andrew pushed Alex away. Tears were already coming down his eyes.

"You won't ever understand how I feel because you have someone like Reid Rutherford by your side and take care of you and love you! Times are way different from your time, Alex. And I am not strong like you! I can't face Tyler nor can I face Professor Jackson! I can't even look at myself without feeling so disgusted with myself!" he continued pouring out his feelings.

Andrew was on his knees now. He was near his limit and there was no way he was going to keep the facade if Alex didn't stop now. He was already on the edge. And being that close, Andrew was inches from admitting the truth and that was the last thing he wanted to do. It was going to end badly when his Head of House finds out that he told the truth. He had to hold on a little longer.
