Aiden had come to Diagon Alley to look at some shops and think of expanding Zonko's and have a branch at Diagon Alley. That would double the profit for sure. And Aiden was hoping that he'd run into Brent there as well. but if Chase was going to be there, Aiden would just have to be nice. He had heard wonderful news and he was glad about it. Aiden was so glad to have heard from Green that Silver, Red and him were going to teach at Hogwarts. That was an advantage to Aiden since he now can keep three pairs of eyes on Brent and Chase.
He just hoped he'd run into Brent alone. He walked up the street filled with students and their parents. Being the manager of Zonko's had it's perks in some ways. He was able to meet a lot of students who proved to be worth having a deal with. Especially the older ones. He looked around, hoping that he'd find Brent in the midst of the crowd. Diagon Alley was indeed a wonderful place. And Aiden had not regret moving there from America.

[/i]. Brent was in Diagon Alley to collect supplies for Pepper and had just left the shop, having had the things delivered to his and Chase's new house. Like Brent was going to bother taking it all back with him, he probably wasn't even strong enough. He perked up a little, spotting Murph in the crowd. It was a good thing his friend was tall or Brent probably would've missed him. Muttering a few quick apologies as he went, Brent made made his way through the crowds to get to Murph. "I wasn't expecting to see you here." he beamed at Murph, grabbing onto his arm so he wouldn't get pushed away by the masses of people surrounding them.[/color][/ul] |

Aiden was surprised when he felt someone's arm cling unto his own but smiled when he saw it was Brent. "And I didn't expect to see you here either. But I did hope a little." he said and chuckled. Aiden was having a good day now that Brent was with him. "So, what brings you here to Diagon Alley?" he asked as he noticed the stuff Brent was holding.
"Pet food? It doesn't seem like dog food, Brent." Aiden pointed out. He knew for one thing that Brent hated cats and would prefer dogs instead. He the smaller man had no patience with birds. He held on to Brent so that the crowd would sweep him away. "Come over here." Aiden said as he pulled Brent and himself on the side of the busy street. It was going to make their talk better.

Aiden was smiling, "Well, I'm glad that you finally made a decision regarding Tommy then. I just hope he won't drive you crazy." he joked and laughed. Brent had little patience with children and Aiden knew it. He wasn't really that good with them. Being a teacher was different.
"Well, cat food... Wow... I thought you wanted a dog, Brent. But a cat? Really? Since when were you a cat person?" Aiden asked. He didn't know Brent liked cats. Jackie did and treats Alexander Torres like a cat but it was different. But Aiden pushed back Jackie at the back of his mind for the moment.
"I see you came alone. Anything else you need here? Or are you free now to come and look around Diagon Alley with me?" Aiden asked as he held out his arm to Brent. he wanted to spend what was left of the morning and the while afternoon with Brent before Aiden had to apparate back to America for a bit.

Aiden slowly ran his thumb on the scratch. The cat was going to be in for a very rude meeting. "Well, I hope that cat won't harm you again. You don't deserve to be scratched, Brent." he said and sighed. He smiled a few moments later when Brent took his arm. "Since you put it that way, why not we have something to eat? My treat. And I think it's time for you to hear the whole truth about my family, don't you think?" Aide asked as he turned to Brent with a small smile.
Aiden was a bit scared about telling Brent the whole truth but he had to know a few things just so Aiden wouldn't feel guilty for leaving Brent in the dark. "If you'd like to listen that is." he added before looking over the heads of the people passing by.

"Very well then, I shall tell you the whole truth about my family and what had happened to us after you left." Aiden said and smiled at Brent. The smile was painful because he was going to dive into the memories of his past that he would rather for get.
"Where do you want to have snacks? At a tea shop? At Zonko's or somewhere else?" Aiden asked. He just wanted to be with his beloved Brent and he was lucky that Chase wasn't around. And he wasn't going to ask where that other man was.
