As much as Aiden loved kissing Brent and thought of wanting more than just kissing, Aiden pulled back Brent's hands. Aiden pulled away and panted. He had his eyes closed and just placed his forehead against Brent's. "I...Uh... I can't really do this..." Aiden stuttered. What was Aiden doing? What was he saying?
"I really want you, I really do Brent. But I don't want you like this. I don't want to take advantage of you being drunk. I love you too much to do such a foul thing." Aiden said as he pulled further away from Brent. He was giving them room to gather their brains to be more sober.
"I know how much you love Ja-Chase... And for some unknown reason, I no longer what to mess things up for you both... Chase will be good for you. I know that when I first met him. You're both perfect for each other. And because of that, I want you to be with the person who you really love and want to spend the rest of your life with." Aiden said as tears fell from his eyes. But he was smiling. Genuinely smiling.
"I will always be your best friend. I will always be your Murphster-poo. But I know that friends is what we'll ever be. And I am willing to have that with you. I love you so much it hurts but still I have to." Aiden said as he stood up and planned to find a Hang Over Potion so Brent could get sober now and he'd bring Brent back to Chase, where he truly belongs.

in his head, driving him insane. He said nothing... What was there that he could stay when he was in this utterly confused state of mind. Brent heard snippets of what Murph was saying though most of it just passed straight through his head, making next to no sense. Murph was saying too much in such a short space of time for Brent to fully comprehend; he got the message soon enough though. It made something in his mind click. Guiltily, he averted his gaze. "S-sorry." Brent whispered. He didn't even want to think of the mess he'd just caused.[/ul]

Aiden smiled though it was hurting him inside. He knew that Brent didn't understand a single word he said. And still, it was fine. Aiden simply messed Brent's hair and chuckled a little. "It's alright, Brent. Don't worry about it." he said as he stood up and went to the kitchen to look for the Hang Over Potion Aiden had been keeping around.
He soon came back with a small vile and sat next to Brent. "Come on, sit up so you won't choke while downing down the potion." He said as he smiled and helped Brent sit up properly. He placed the vile on Brent's mouth and tipped it slowly so it wouldn't spill. "Drink every last drop so you'll feel better." Aiden spoke again, still smiling.
He wanted nothing more than to bring Brent back to Chase so he could get some rest and forget about what had just happened. It wasn't as great as Aiden thought it would be. It might have been if Brent was single.

, did he have to go and fuck things up again? He stared up at the ceiling as Murph went to go and get something. Brent couldn't see what though, due to a mixture of his drunkenness and the fact that he'd left his glasses somewhere at him. "Mmm." he mumbled. Brent didn't think he'd be able to speak without saying something completely stupid. He drunk the potion with Murph's aid, knowing it would be the best thing to do right now, even if he was feeling uncomfortable and awkward in his presence after they'd just made out. It cleared his head almost instantly, and helped his vision the slightest bit. There was still the heavy ache of guilt in his chest though. "Thanks." Brent murmured, looking at anything but his best friend.[/ul]

Now that Brent was a little sober, it was time for Brent to leave. And for Aiden to disappear forever. And with that disappearance, Aiden will change his name and his physical appearance. He will probably take Jackie with him as well. He wouldn't want to leave that man alone. But Aiden wondered if Brent will look for him at all. Or even just ask Nathaniel, the new assistant manager, if Aiden was even well. But then again, that was like hoping for a miracle.
Aiden looked away from Brent. "Time for you to leave, Brent. I have completely take too much of your time. And for that, I am terribly sorry. I shall apparate you outside your home just to make sure you get home safely. But I will leave before Ja-Chase opens the door." he said as he took his jacket from the armchair. Aiden didn't want to face Brent any longer.
When Jackie hears about this, Aiden was sure that either two things will happen, Jackie will hurt Brent or Jackie will leave Brent alone and just follow Aiden. Aiden hoped it was the latter. Aiden felt happy with Jackie and it was good knowing he had a friend who understood him when no one else would.

Aiden thought of obliviating Brent. Or extract the memory so that Brent won't have any memory of having done anything worth getting into a fight with Chase. But then again, Aiden would have to do it when Brent is asleep. Not awake. He sighed. He had to tell Brent or risk making the man angry.
Aiden smiled at Brent. "Brent, I'll be leaving for a few days... Weeks.. Months.. I don't really know how long." He said and laughed. He scratched his head as he tried to laugh. He knew that he wasn't fooling Brent. Aiden couldn't even fool himself. The reason he was going to leave was for him to give Brent space.
"Brent.. You need space from me. With me around, you and Chase will just fight. I want to be good friends with you and Chase. But right now, its not happening." Aiden said without thinking. "I'll say this one last time, so please listen Brent." he added and took a deep breath.
"I know how much you love Chase. For some unknown reason, I no longer what to mess things up for you both... Chase will be good for you. I know that now. I knew it when I first met him. You're both were perfect for each other. And because of that, I want you to be with the person who you really love and want to spend the rest of your life with."
"I will always be your best friend. I will always be your Murphster-poo. But I know that friends is what we'll ever be. And I am willing to have that with you. I love you so much it hurts but still I have to." Aiden said and gave Brent a hug.

Aiden let go of Brent. He was going to start the space thing now. "Well, that I really can't promise right now, bren-bren... You need a lot of space from me. And you need to make things right with Chase. There are a lot of things you have to talk about together and that both of you need to seriously spend time to together. With no one else to bother you." Aiden smiled.
Yes, this was a whole lot painful than Aiden thought. But then again, it was what he had to do. He knew that it was the right thing to do. "Come on. I'm sure Chase is waiting for you now. You shouldn't worry him all the time." Aiden said and smiled. But tears rolled down his face. How was that even possible? To be happy and sad at the same time.
"Brent, you know that you'll always have me as your best friend right? I want you to know that someday, when we see each other again, I can be a better person for you and Chase. We'll keep in touch, that I can promise." Aiden said and extended his hand to Brent. "Ready to go home to Chase?" Aiden asked with a sincere and happy smile on his face.

Aiden smiled and just nodded. He took Brent's hand and in a blink of an eye, apparated to Brent and Chase's home.
