Breakfast with my own lion [James Alex Chris]

[James Potter]

James hurried down to the Great Hall just before breakfast. Blaze had sent him a note asking him to get down there early. He knew she was nervous about everyone seeing them together. People would question why she was around a Gryffindor, especially after everything that happened between her and the Chris guy.

He wasn't really nervous about all of it. He liked her and didn't care that it was...different from what most people would think of. He was thinking about asking his father about how to deal with people but he wasn't sure how his father would react. Maybe he would send him a letter after breakfast.

He came to the last set of stairs leading to the Great Hall. From his spot at the top of the stairs he could see her pacing. He shook his head and walked down to her.

He reached her and grabbed her hands. "Hey. Why are you pacing? Things will be ok. Don't worry so much."

Blaze jumped a little but James had already held her hand so she didn't get to jump back away. "Merlin! Scare the magic out of me, James!" she said then tried to catch her breath again. then she looked at him with worried eyes then smiled.

"I was worried... But not anymore. Your here." she said and held his hand with her two hands. She took a deep breath. "Are you ready? This will be a big step for the both of us you know." she told him. She just wanted him to know. Everything will go crazy the moment they enter the Great hall's door.

"I just want you to know, that no matter what happens, I'm here. I won't run away. We'll even sit on your house table to make you comfortable. Anywhere is fine as long as it's with you." she told him.

James smiled. Blaze was more worried about him being comfortable than her. It wasn't necessary though. He wasn't worried. "You don't have to worry about me Blaze. I told you that you don't have to worry about me and I meant it. I just want you to be comfortable."

He leaned over and kissed her. He interlocked their fingers and walked into the Great Hall. "So Blaze, where do we want to sit?"

[Sophia Blaze Livington]

Blaze took a deep breath as James pulled her through the doors of the Great Hall. And as expected, all eyes were on them when they came in. A slytherin girl with a gryffindor boy. Even more ironic about the sight was it was Blaze Livington, Ice queen of Slytherin and James Potter, eldest son of Harry James Potter, of Gryffindor. But Blaze held on to James.

"I told you, anywhere with you is fine with me." she told him with a smile. She clung to his arm for support. She wasn't worried, nervous yes, but not worried. It was her first time to be in a relationship so this was something she didn't have knowledge first hand.

Blaze waited for James, she'd wait on him until he'd tell her where they would go. Despite the stares, whispers and jaw drops she could see from the corner of her eyes, she didn't care. She'd get to them later. Blaze knew just how to make them all stop.

James smiled at Blaze, trying to get her to be happy, to not think of what could happen. "We will sit as soon as you smile for me. Focus on me Blaze, not what others will think about us." He brought his hand up to her face and caressed her cheek. "Don't think about them. The only ones who matter are our family and closest friends. Everyone else doesn't matter."

He hoped she believed him. He wanted this to work out. That would only happen however if she stopped worrying about what others would think.

He thought of a way to make her happy, or at least, he hoped it would make her happy. "Have you told your cousin about us? Maybe we could sit with her and I can show her that I mean well by you."

Blaze wanted to laugh when he told her to focus on him. "James, the reason I was able to bring myself out of bed earlier than I usually do is because of you. Can I be anymore focus than that?" she asked him and laughed heartily. She squeezed his hand a little and looked at him.

"I have never thought of them before. So I don't think I'd even start now." she said, "Besides, they aren't the ones who are involved in this relationship right? It's you and me. Not them and us." she added before kissing his cheek.

In the corner of her eye, she saw a few 'puffs dropping their jaws while a few 'claws bumped into each other as they were heading towards the Ravenclaw table. The Blaze smirked. "I have told Alex a few things but not everything. Time for her to here the voice of the guy who has capture my full attention. Not to mention my heart." she said with a sweet smile.

James knew he was over thinking things but he wanted to make sure she was ok. "I was your reason to get up this morning? Wow, I wasn't expecting that." He truly wasn't. He knew she liked him but this was new, even for him.

He smiled at her and lead her to the Ravenclaw table. "You are right, it's time for her to meet me. Why not spend the morning getting to know one another. I know she's a big part of your life and I want to get to know her."

Blaze wanted to laugh and hug James right in front of everyone, but she stopped herself and just squeezed his hand. "You'll have time to get to know her, if there is going to be an 'us'." she told him with a smile. She really liked him and she was getting scared now that at some point he might turn his back on her and leave.

She kept smiling despite her fear and looked at him, "So, we shall sit at the Gryffindor table since I know my cousin would be there with her own lion." Blaze said with a laugh. "That is, if she and Sutton had arrived already. they might be somewhere else doing Merlin's know's what." Blaze told James with a laugh.

James smiled. He hoped there was an 'us'. He liked her, it happened faster than he thought it could be he did. "Will there be an 'us'? Cause, I kind of hope there will be. So I guess there will be time, right?" He squeezed her hand like he did hers and smiled at her.

He looked over at the Gryffindor table looking for Sutton. He knew of the boy but didn't really know him. He didn't see him anywhere at the table so he assumed he was either with Alex at the Ravenclaw table or not at breakfast at all. "Well Sutton isn't at the Lion's table. Do you see them at the Claw table?"

She didn't know what to answer him really, "I don't know... You tell me James. Will there be an 'us'?" she threw him back the question with a smirk as she squeezed back. She really like this guy and he wasn't going to let anything get in her way.

Blaze turned towards the Ravenclaw table and saw Alex with none other that her own lion, Chris. She sighed, this was going to be a long morning, "Yeah, there they both are. Alex and Chris." she answered James.

"This will be the first time you will be officially meeting my cousin and Sutton. But I know you've seen Sutton at the Gryffindor Common Room at least a few times right?" she asked him with a bright smile. "Come on. Time for a spot of breakfast." she added before pulling him softly as she led them to the Ravenclaw table.

James kind of wished she would have just answered the question. Hopefully she wouldn't be mad at his answer. "Yes, there will be an us. Maybe you could introduce me as your boyfriend?" The last part kind of slipped out, not that he regretted it. He was going all out this morning apparently.

He looked where she was pointing at Ravenclaw table. "Ah, so there they are. Time for the craziness to start." He squeezed her hand one more time as she pulled them to the table. "I hope she likes me."

[Gabriella Alexis Knightly]

Alex was having a nice meal with Chris when she saw her cousin and James coming towards them. She nudged Chris lightly, "Look who decided to join us for breakfast." she whispered to his ear as she turned back to the direction of her coming cousin. And their holding hands too. Wow, James must have made one hell of an impression on her.

"Good morning, cousin. Would you like to join us for breakfast?" she asked with a sly tone. She was going to enjoy teasing Blaze as she did when she was just starting to date Chris. She turned to James, "I'm Gabriella Alexis Knightly, Seventh Year, Ravenclaw House, and Blaze's cousin. Call me Alex." she told James.

"And this wonderful and amazing guy beside me is Chris Sutton. My prince charming and most beloved." she said as she discreetly held his hand under the table. She smiled lovingly at him and was just happy that she had Chris and Blaze now has someone of her own.

then she turned back to James, "And liking you will not be instant, you know." she added with the same tone Blaze gave Chris. She hoped Chris could remember and appreciate what she was doing.

[Chris Sutton]

Chris was enjoying his time with Alex. After not seeing each other for so long they decided to have breakfast together every morning. If nothing else it was a bit of time they got to spend together every day.

He followed Alex's line of sight and sure enough there was Blaze and her lion. Breakfast just got more interesting. He was sure it would be a fun time.

He waited until Alex was done introducing them before he spoke. He really tried not to laugh at some of the things his girlfriend had said. "Good morning Blaze. I must say, you look...different this morning. In a good way though." He smiled at her before turning his attention to James. "Potter."

[Sophia Blaze Livington]

She wanted to give him a kiss and a him right then and there. "I.. I was going to do just that. And I am happy. So very happy, James. Thank you." she said as she gave his hand a squeeze. There was going to be a 'them' and she loved it already. "Of course, she'll like you. I know I did." she said and giggled.

"Good morning to you to Alex, Chris." she greeted the other pair as they got the table. They sat down, "Breakfast is a necessity cousin, you of all people should know that." she told Alex and turned to Chris. "Thank you for the compliment, Chris." she said.

"To formally introduce you all, "This is James Sirius, my boyfriend." she said with a smile as she turned to James. "James, this is me beloved cousin, Alexis and her own lion, Chris Sutton." she told him. Breakfast had just began but all eyes were already on them.

James had a huge smile on his face as they walked over to Alex and Sutton. Blaze was his girlfriend. He was so happy.

He sat down at the table and kept hold of her hand. He wouldn't admit it, but this, meeting Alex, made him nervous. This girl was his girlfriend's best friend and cousin; it was a big deal.

Introductions were past along the table. "It's a pleasure to meet you Alex. I've head so much about you from Blaze. Look I know how important you are to her and I promise to do everything I can to show you I am good for her. I really like her and I hope you can come to like me too."

He wondered what Sutton meant by the compliment but he let it go. He didn't need to know everything, right?
