Vlad obeyed every word the healer told him. He drank the potion or whatever it was he was made to drink. If it would help him get his sight back, he'd drink it to the last drop. He wouldn't complain even if it tasted like grass.
It was just then that, Vlad could feel pain sipping into his skull. He dropped the empty cup and fell on the floor, grabbing his head in pain. "Argh!" he groaned as he tried to keep still. Whatever the healer was doing, he better be doing it right. The pain was seriously painful.
"I... Can't blame... McKinney." he said in between groans of pain. "He heard me... Say things... Not normal things... That strangers should know... It's not something I... ARGH! Can bloody control... You have... To believe me... I mean you all... No harm..." he said as he tried to take deep breaths. It wasn't easy though.

Chase knew what Alex had said about Brent was true, but he felt the need to defend him. He pushed it back though, not wanting to get into a fight with Alex while Vlad was freaking out on the ground here. "I know... I'll talk to him later. And I'm sorry about it being your break... I just didn't know who to call. I didn't want to call Maryn, and I figured you were probably better for this situation than her anyways." Chase admitted. He didn't want to talk to Maryn, let alone go to her for a problem Brent caused.
When Vlad said he couldn't blame Brent... well. Chase felt horrible. "No... it's not your fault, Vlad. Brent just doesn't like a lot of people knowing about his life... it's not your fault you knew it." Chase was still in shock that Vlad knew everything, but he didn't want to bother to ask him how. It was something.. different. That was for sure. One thing Chase did know... Vlad had been dead right about everything.

Okay, so Alex had been lying a bit when he told Vincent that it was only going to tickle. But he'd finished now so the pain should subside. He continued to massage the teacher's temples though. "Alright Vlad. If this has been caused by any injury your sight should come back but...." Alex peered down at the professor with a small frown. "...but if this is psychological it might not until that is solved. You've had Calming Draught so that should help if it is." The young man wondered what exactly had happened here before he had been summoned by a Phoenix Patronus. By the looks of things Vicent had unintentionally delved into Brent's personal life....something that his friend had got peeved off about. "You just forget about Brent, okay? You need to calm down and see if your sight comes back. If it doesn't....you might have to come to St. Mungo's. I'll take care of you though, so there'll be no reason to fret."

Vlad hoped that what the healer said was true. He would skin and murder Brent McKinney with his bear hands. He swore it. He took a deep breath and waited. The pain was receding and his tried blinking his eyes a few times.
Then, slowly, he began to see blurry lights. It was as if a plastic bag was placed over his eyes. "I- I'm starting to see a little. But it's still blurry..." he said softly. He was nervous but trying to calm himself down. Panicking wasn't going to do him any good. That was for sure.
"Chase, I am very sorry for whatever I did. I black out and do things that I can't remember afterwards. But my brother told me that I tend to know and says that about other people that I shouldn't even know about." Vlad explained. They had to know.
"Brent is right though... I am a freak." he said and looked down on the blurry floor. "I'm even surprised that despite knowing it, the Head Mistress still gave me a job and said that I'll be alright." he spoke with a sad tone yet he had a small smile on his face.

Chase was kind of freaking out on the inside. He didn't really know what to do. His mind kept thinking of Brent and how he should have ran after him. Chase was used to trying to clean up Brent's mess, but this was ridiculous. He couldn't have just pretending it was alright when Vlad went all freaky on them? It wasn't like he didn't just tell him they were dating.
"No, Vlad. Don't apologize. I feel bad because of what Brent said. It wasn't right. Brent just doesn't like people knowing things about him that he didn't tell them. That's just Brent." It was, but it was still no excuse for what he said. "Don't worry about it. What you said was true... you just told us our feelings for each other since we met. Too bad you hadn't came around when I was trying to get Brent to realize he loved me like I loved him." Chase chuckled more to himself than anything.
Without thinking Chase grabbed Vlad's hand and gave it a squeeze. "Don't worry about it, just get your site back." He smiled at him, but didn't know if Vlad's now blurred vision would be able to see it.

Vlad's sight returning was good news. Even if it was blurry. It could only be expected. Alex crouched down right infront of him and peered at each of his eyes in turn, inspecting them carefully. "Don't we all have our freakish side?" Alexander murmured with a hint of a chuckle melting into his words. "We all have things that we'd rather others didn't know. Chase and I included. Even Brent. So stop apologizing, Vlad." Alex gave him an encouraging rub on his upper arm. Sure, it was certainly out of the ordinary what this Hufflepuff was capable of but it didn't necessarily classify him as a freak. Maybe it was a sort of gift. Like seers and animagi. They weren't freaks. Yet they did extraordinary things. Maybe this was one of those things.
"Mierda..." Alex hissed, feeling his silver watch bracelet burn onto his skin. His break was over. He shook his wrist and peered at the face. It read: Working at St. Mungo's. Alex swallowed and flourished his wand once more. He cast a patronus - a showy peacock, very Alex - and it flitted away to inform his superior that he'd be arriving late. But for a decent reason.
"If the Head gave you a job here considering your.... moments, then you're definitely apt to work here." Alex nodded, pocketing his wand once his sterling peacock floated away. "You don't need to say sorry for anyone for being who you are. Brent's just got to accept that. If he's going to act like a kid, let him. Might even be better off for you."

After a few more blinks, Vlad was so glad to see Chase and the Healer clearly. He smiled at them and bowed in happiness. "Thank you, Chase. Really thank you." he shook Chase's hand then gave the healer a hug and a kiss on the cheek before rubbing his eyes and looking around. "I-I can see again!!" he shouted with glee.
He looked around and looked at his hands and the surroundings. He had never been that glad to see anything in all his life. He then turned to Chase, "Don't worry about Brent, I'll just have to apologize for saying such things. Even if I don't know what I said." he then looked down on the floor.
"You see, I space out and my seer instincts kick in. It tells the past and possible future. But then again, after my black out, I don't remember anything that had happened or the words I said." He had to explain. You guys have to know too." he told them.

Chase was glad that Vlad was able to see again fully. He had been worried that what Brent had said was going to cause him to be permanently blind. That would be horrible and Chase would feel horrible, whether Brent would or not didn't matter. "I'm glad you can see again, Vlad." Chase smiled at him. He was glad he had called Alex. Chase wouldn't have known what to do if he hadn't.
"You should go back to work, Alex... Before you get in trouble for being too late. Thanks for coming to help. It means a lot. We'll catch up some time soon, yeah?" Chase asked Alex with a slight smile. He didn't want to mention how they had band practice this weekend since the band was a secret.
Chase felt like he needed to say this... even though he was sure Brent wouldn't like it. "If... anyone else calls you something. Or freaks out because of what you can do. I'm always here if you need to talk, Vlad. I'm not going anywhere. You can't scare me away." Chase smiled at him again. Chase meant it. So he could tell things that other people couldn't and didn't remember it. It wasn't that big of a deal. Chase would learn to accept that.
