Chase slowly pulled away from Brent, breaking the kiss in the process. Chase needed to be able to breath for one, and two they had probably been snogging for quite some time now. They were grown adults, most of the time, they shouldn't be snogging like this. Or should they.
"How long do you plan to snog for, lover boy?" Chase smirked at Brent and gave him a little chuckle. He was glad to see Brent distracted from what he had originally came out to the forest for. And that alone made Chase think that maybe they should just snog all day. Otherwise who knew what Brent would do. Probably go off his piano or guitar. (I think he named them Charlie and something... not quite sure. It's Brent.) Or worse, he'd go off and get smashed to try and numb the pain. Chase hated when that happened. He didn't mind drinking for fun. But when it came to the point where Brent needed the booze. That worried him. Because it was like his dad.
"Not that I object of course." Chase acted like nothing was on his mind, continuing to smirk at Brent and giving him a quick wink.

mean to me, Chay-Chay." he sighed, looking at the floor. Brent was trying his best not to start laughing though. Maybe they'd done enough snogging for now... Maybe... "Forever." he replied almost instantly, looking up and grinning at Chase. Definitely the truth in Brent's mind, even if it was very unlikely to happen. Caught up in his own little happy world and still oblivious to everything negative in his life, Brent just smiled. Because Chase was too perfect and him being with Chase was... even more perfect, if that was even possible. "Nobody would even dream of objecting to snogging me forever." Brent smirked back at Chase, holding back another chuckle, "I mean, just look at me, who wouldn't want all of this?"[/ul]

"I know I am. But you love me anyways, right McKinney?" Chase winked at him and laughed. it wasn't like he wanted to break up the snogging session, but it wasn't good for two grown men to be making out in the forest. Chase didn't think many people would come out this way, but you never knew, it was possible.
The way Brent said forever made Chase's heart melt. He loved the way Brent and him seemed to just go together perfectly. Like they had been dating all this time instead of being just best friends. Only in my dreams.
"Ha! You are so full of yourself, Boo-Boo." Chase threw his head back in laughter. "But you know. I do believe you're completely right." winking at Brent yet again. Brent was completely wonderful. Who wouldn't want to have a good snogging session.

much. "I know I am, and proud to be." Brent exclaimed with a wide grin. He said the same thing to anyone who told him the same. Brent kind of knew he tended to be quite... over-confident from time to time. But he saw that as a positive, "And, y'know, I'm always completely right." [/ul]

"I do nothing of the sort!" Chase laughed with Brent. It was nice to be joking around with him. Everything, when they weren't snogging each other senseless, was so serious between them lately. Chase hated it. Yet he loved how much time they had been spending with each other. Sure, they always spent time with each other before too, but not as much.
"Good. You better. I love you too, Brenty-Boo." Chase smiled up at him. This was bliss. Complete. Bliss.
"Yeah. Sure. Allllwwwayyysss right. That's you." Chase laughed. Brent had such a big head, and yet Chase loved it.
Noticing that Chase still had Brent pined against the tree, from lack of wanting to move, he decided he should probably do something about it. But he wasn't quite sure he wanted to let him go.
"Hmm. What do you think. Should I unpin you from the tree? Or not?" Chase smirked at Brent, leaning towards the not. He loved this too much.

right." Brent chuckled. Pretending to think about it for a moment though his answer was already clear in his mind. "Hmmm, I'm fine here, thanks." he grinned. Okay, so the tree wasn't comfortable but being pinned to it by Chase made up for that. Obviously. Brent didn't want to move, he supposed he was comfortable enough for now. Or for a while; a long while.[/ul]

"I will, thank you very much." Chase smirked again. Why did it seem like Chase could never stop smirking when he was with Brent? Or winking, or giggling like a little fucking girl. Brent brought of Chase's good side. The side where he could relax and joke. When he was alone, or with someone else Chase always seem to be angry.
"That depends." Chase said, trying to make his tone serious. "Is it working?" Chase squinted his eyes, to try to show he was serious. But he had never been a very good actor. It was why Chase was best on the drums. He could be in the back and not do much. Ahh. The drums. Chase wished he had his set here. He must make a trip to the choir room sometime and conjure a set so he can play them. He missed it.
"Good. Because I really didn't want to move anyways." Chase winked at him. He was perfectly fine staying like this forever.

working. I'm not scared of you." He jabbed Chase in the ribs like he'd done before on numerous occassions but it wasn't as popular as kicking Chase's shins. That was Brent's favourite punishment; easy but very painful. "I know you didn't." Brent winked back, "Moving would just be ridiculous." Brent would probably end up kicking Chase again if they did move which would have to happen eventually. Unless he though of a better alternative... [/ul]

"Lies? You wish!" Chase laughed with Brent. Those eyes, those lips, that smile. Chase thought he could pick out Brent in any crowded room. Anywhere. They were so close. Brent and Chase that is. And Chase wasn't just talking about their proximity right now. They knew everything about one another, and Chase loved to have that. Even if in the end, it was just as a best friend. Chase would accept that.
"You should be Girly Haired man!" Chase barely got out the words before Brent jabbed him in the ribs. Chase thought that that hurt more than getting kicked in the shins. "And you said I was abusive!" Chase croaked out between trying to catch his breath.
"Nope. Never going to move. Not gonna happen." Chase laughed again. "Very ridiculous."
(OOC: Sorry it's short. I had to hurry to do it before the quiz bowl bus leaves. If you need me, or want me to try to get on with my phone, email me. I'll get that on my phone.

went and lost his temper, maybe that was kind of scary. Brent could deal with it though, having a temper of his own. He couldn't help but laugh after he'd jabbed Chase perhaps a little harder than he'd intended to. "That's because you are. That was just self-defense." Brent grinned as he explained. Self-defense... Brent found it hilarious. He figured Chase deserved an apology so he leant in for a short, sweet kiss then smiled innocently at Chase. That apology totally wasn't an excuse to kiss Chase again. "Oh yes." Brent agreed, "And we're not ridiculous at all." Staying here was all he wanted to do now. Being away from the castle for a while always made him feel a bit better.[/ul]

"How am I not scary! I'm vicious!" Chase knew he wasn't really scary, but he could wish he was. He could be if he wanted to, but he never did with brent. He just loved him too much. It wasn't worth getting scary and pissy around him. Almost impossible really, what with that adorable face and all.
Chase was going to retaliate, but Brent's kiss stopped him. Chase just smiled in response. Brent was too adorable. Chase knew that that was Brent's way of apologizing for jabbing him in the ribbs. Even though he more than likely wasn't sorry for it. But that was Brent, and Chase loved him for it.
"I swear you are the Devil, Brent McKinney. You sure know how to woo a man into forgiving you." Chase smirked at Brent. That was completely true.
"Who said anything about being ridiculous?" Chase laughed. "'Cuz that's definitely not us!"

"Me?! A softie?! You wishhhh lover boy! I'm not a softie! I'm vicious! Verrrrrryyyy vicious!" Chase was hurt that Brent didn't think he was vicious! Okay, maybe he wasn't really hurt, but still. It was still the principle of it. Chase could be vicious if he wanted to. Okay, so maybe he couldn't.
Chase got a huge smile when Brent began to sing one of their hit songs. He always loved it when Brent broke out in random song. It was the main thing Chase and Brent had in common. Their love for music. It was what had, essentially, started their relationship in the first place. Had fueled their friendship.
"I love that song. Ya know." Chase winked. That song had to be one of Chase's favorites. Ever.
"Most definitely."
Chase sighed heavily before carefully unpinning Brent from the tree and putting him back on the ground.
"Perhaps we should go back up to the castle now. "

vicious!" Brent rolled his eyes and smirked at Chase. They both knew he wasn't vicious, it made Brent laugh. "You, Chay-Chay will always be a softie." Brent's smile mirrored Chase's. Because Chase had an amazing smile that always made Brent feel happy. "What a coincidence; we both have great taste in music!" Brent exclaimed. Of course they did. That was why they'd become friends and started a band. And why they were the awesomest and second awesomest people on Earth. Brent guessed what was going to happen after Chase sighed heavily. Which was kind of good since his back was beginning to ache a little. But just a little, Brent still didn't mind at all. "Fine." Brent sighed, pouting at Chase and kicking his shin again, just for good measure, "I'm sure there's lots of other things for you to pin me against back at the castle." he added with a slight smirk.[/ul]
