Aiden laughed heartily as Brent looked away then he sighed. "My apologies then, for assuming such an indecent thought. Brent, I want to be part of your life like I was when we first met. Even if its just being your childhood best friend. I'd accept almost anything that you'd give me...." Aiden trailed off. And looked away a little before looking back at Brent seriously.
"however, I must ask you that when you and I are with Chase, please do not be so close and be Brent- like with him. It would only make me feel bad since I know that you love Chase in a way that you would never be able to love me." Aiden told Brent. it was the least Brent could do if he wanted Aiden to play nicely to Chase and the rest of his friends.

Aiden simply nodded and was glad that Brent was being agreeable. He knew that if Brent didn't stop himself, he might curse Chase and Aiden didn't want to do such a thing since it was a sure way to get Brent mad at him. Aiden began to smile again, "Now, let's talk about your summer job with your friends. We need people who we can test our products on. Don't worry, all the products are safe and won't get you killed." he told Brent.
Aiden's summer was going to be fun since Brent was going to be spending time with him at the lab, testing products and such. But Aiden knew that Chase , Alex, and Reid were going to be there too. So much for a fun summer with Brent.

Aiden wanted to blown himself up when Brent mentioned that he and Chase were getting married. But he didn't. It took a little while for Aiden to come up with something to say any he had to speak up before Brent would say anything else. He smiled and hugged Brent.
"I said that I'd be happy for you, no matter what. And I would have to attend your wedding in order to give you away to Chase. It better be me who would give you away to him or I'll really be sad and not talk to you." Aiden said with a mock pout. If he had to watch Brent marry some other guy, Aiden just had to do it.
Besides, at some point, knowing Brent, he'd fall short and cheat on Chase. Aiden just smiled at Brent again.

Aiden smiled and chuckled at Brent. "No need for you to apologize, Bren-Bren... Maybe I'm just meant to stay in your life as your friend, not a life partner. No matter what it is, I'll gladly accept whatever position your going to give me in your life." he told Brent as he gave Brent a tight hug.
"You know what, I already know what to wear on your wedding day. I'll even dye my hair white so people will think I'm your father and I'll put glamours on my face to look older." Aiden joked and laughed heartily as he fell back on the cough, clutching his stomach.
"That would certainly be hilarious to those who know me." he added in between his hearty laugh. He wanted to make Brent feel assured that Aiden wasn't going to do anything to ruin his thing with Chase.

"Anyway, I think its starting to get dark outside. As much as I want you to stay for the night, your students might not be so happy about it." Aiden said as he stood up. "Come, I'll see you out the shop." he added with a smile as he extended his hand towards Brent.
Aiden had things to plans and it was going to take most of his time now. Add the fact that he was going to prepare for the arrival of his parents, knowing that they already know where he is and that they are just waiting for the right time to come and strike a bargain.
Aiden knew that if he couldn't have Brent, then he'll have to get rid of Chase to have Brent. He smiled sweetly at Brent. He loved this man from the first time he laid his eyes on him.

Aiden did nothing but hug and nod back at Brent. "You know where to find me when you are ready to introduce me to Chase." he said with a smile and fixed Brent's hair. He was going to have to do something fast since Brent was going to get married. And Aiden knew well that he was not going to ruin Chase before the wedding.
No, Aiden was smarter than that. He wants Chase to be ruined after the wedding. "Tka egood care of yourself, Brent. 'til we see each other again." he said and waved at Brent.
He entered back his shop and closed the door. Aiden already knew who he needed when it came to thoughts about pets. And he knew exactly where that friend was.
