Aiden was busy roaming the shop that was busy with customers. He smiled and chatted with a few that asked about their products. Since Aiden came to the wizarding world, his life had been busy with meeting new people and having fun with them.
But then again, despite being busy, he had not forgotten why he came to London in the first place. The only reason he came actually. It have been almost six months since he came and he had not seen Brent still. Aiden was beginning to lose hope of seeing his friend again.
He smiled at a few gryffindors and ravenclaws as he passed them by the love potions area. Those girls were rather scary, in Aiden's view point. For them to have to use such means to have their love ones love them back was just... sad.

Aiden was just about to get away from the girl when he heard voice calling his name. He turned around and saw Brent making his way towards him. And before Aiden could even say anything, Brent had already flung his arms around him.
"Brent?" was all he could say as he was holding a man in his arms. He pulled away and smiled. "How could have I told you, you dolt! I've been really busy! But I was hoping to have caught you in this shop since I came. But you haven't and I haven't seen you so, I couldn't have told you." he told Brent.
Aiden saw that he was now taller than Brent now. He smirked and patted Brent's head. "You were a lot taller the last time we saw each other, weren't you?" he teased.

Aiden had to laugh as Brent punch his arm. "I'm sorry, Brent. You're right. It doesn't matter now. At least now, I've finally found you. And this time, I'm not letting you go far away from me again." he told Brent as he held the other man's waist with a smirk.
"Come on at the back, you owe me a lot of stories." he told Brent as the smirk widen in his face. He released Brent's waist and grabbed his hand instead, twisting his fingers with Brent's. " You know, not only did you seem smaller, your hands are like a girl's hand too." he teased Bent once more.
he had really missed his friend. It had been far too since they had talked for hours and just have fun while talking and teasing each other about their flaws.

as we hold hands... No, nothing to see here, folks." He and Murph didn't really have many boundaries, they'd known each other since what felt like forever. And despite what things looked like, Murph was his friend - just his friend- and that was all. ...In Brent's mind anyway. He couldn't do that to Chase anyway, not again.[/ul]

Aiden simply laughed at Brent. "When I said stories, I really meant stories. We haven't seen each other for quite sometime so you owe me a lot you know." he told him na dlet go of Brent's hand. "You have girly hands, period." he teased as he brought Brent into his office where they could talk without ears listening.
"You working here with me would be great! We could test our products on you since you always wanted an extreme kind of adventure, Brenty." aiden said as he sat down on his couch and pulled Brent beside him.
Aiden was not stupid. He'd never let anything happen to Brent. Since he started working at Zonko's, a lot of crazy things happen when testing products. He wouldn't want anything to happen to this man. Yes, Brent was no longer the small beautiful boy he first saw. Brent was now a gorgeous man.

didn't have girly hands, not at all. (Or that was what he told himself anyway.) "Yay!" Brent chuckled but then realised what Murph had said, "Wait.. what? We're not testing products on me? I might accidentally test a couple on you though." he smirked as he flopped down on the sofa right next to Murph. "I suppose I'll have to start with telling you about Chase Jackson 'cause he's kinda involved with most of these stories and you really have to meet him soon... I'll arrange something with him later... Sooo, anyway, he was the first friend I made after moving to England we started a band with a couple of our friends Reid and Alex and you'll have to meet them too. So, yeah, he's been my best friend since I moved here... not that I've ever forgotten about you though." he smiled at Murph. Murph was way too awesome to ever be forgotten by anyone. "And then, around a decade ago now, there was this year when we dated... except it was more of an experiment to me, Chay was more into it. Then I kinda ended it and then... I'll fast forward a few years. Now, the short version of this is, I get married to this woman, try and convince myself I'm straight and that I don't see him as anything more than my best friend but that kind of didn't work out. I ended up cheating on my wife with him and then I got divorced and Chase and I are still together. Properly now... and I love him. A lot. Even if I mess up sometimes..." Brent continued smiling, rushing his speech towards the end and a light blush covering his cheeks. "And, yeah, that's why you need to meet him."[/ul]

to say that Aiden was shocked was not enough to really explain how he felt. First, Brent finally realized he was gay was great news to Aiden. But the second one wasn't so great. Chase? He's dating a guy named Chase? Aiden had someone else to run over then, And he hoped that he didn't have to fight tooth and nail for Brent.
He smiled at his friend, "I'm glad that you were ablt to make friends when you moved away from America. It wasn't easy for me when you left, you know. But it doesn't matter now since your here and I'm here." he began and patted Brent's head.
"Band eh? Sure, I'd love to meet them some time. And this Chase seems like someone great. But I'm sadden that this guy you speak of can bring out the blush on your face. I came here hoping that you and I got work out something and just take it from there." he explained.
Aiden tried not to show Brent how angry and furious he really was because that would not be a good thing for the both of them. they just saw each other again after a long time and Aiden knew that until now Brent would hate anyone who would hurt the ones close to him and the ones he cared for.
"You see Brent, I might as well tell you since we're on the same page now, I was hoping that you and I could go out... You know, like on a date and just catch up on each other and get to know what's new." he began as she scratched the back of his head. he looked away as he leaned on the couch.
"Ugh... I'm really bad at this... Brent, I've liked you. Ever since we were kids. When I first saw you at the park when we were kids, I thought you were the most beautiful boy I had ever seen. And i was glad to have been friends with you. I was disappointed and saddened when you left me there with all the idiots that we call neighbors."
"And I thought that when I see you again, you and I could just be like before and probably more..." he sighed. "So much for that idea." he ended and placed his face on his hands, covering them and not looking at Brent at all.

? He was about to ask, but then, even Murph wasn't that great an actor and wouldn't be so cruel as to make a joke as twisted as this. But Brent would've still preferred it if Murph just was trying to get some amusing reaction out of him right now. "W-work out something?" Brent echoed shakily, his voice barely more than a whisper and his cheeks flaming a darker red than before. He decided to just let Murph continue but watched him with wide, cautious eyes. Okay. This was really weird. Brent was kind of freaking out now. "Oh my God. Why the fuck didn't you tell me earlier?" he cried before running a hand through his hair. This was way too much for Brent to even begin to take in all at once. "Dude... you're like... my brother. Just. This is messed up. So, so, messed up." he muttered quickly, nervously clasping his hands together and staring straight ahead, away from Murph. "I-I'm sorry. I've already hurt Chase and I don't want to hurt him again but I don't want to hurt you either." Brent stammered awkwardly.[/ul]

Aiden turned to Brent, "We were eight or nine then Brent. If I told you then, you'd probably left me and never talk to me again. You think I would risk it then?" Aiden asked him. Had Brent lost his reasoning as he grew older? Aiden knew Brent didn't normally use his brain when doing things.
He sighed then looked away again, "A brother eh? Hmmmm... If I told you earlier, would it have changed anything? Would you have married a woman then come to me when you realized that you weren't meant to spend the rest of your left with a woman?" he asked Brent without looking at him.
Then Aiden just sat then, not saying anything afterwards. What was left for him to say? Brent had already said that he was just like a brother to Brent. That already added injury to an injured heart.
He stared at the ceiling of his office. "I wonder what would have happened if I told you that I liked you when we were just eight. I bet you would have hexed me and never spoke to me again. I knew that you would have done something like that then." he said, his heart was aching now.
But he had gone too far to turn back now. He'd have Brent one way or another. But this time it will take time and effort and plots to ruin the current relationship he had with Chase. That was the first thing Aiden had to destroy.

' then it would've been before I dated Chase. And that was ten years ago. Not that I'm saying it could've actually happened but - I dunno. This is a lot to take in." he told Murph honestly before sighing loudly. Why? Why was it always him that ended up in these sorts of situations? "I... probably would. Yeah. But still, you could've told me a few years later and maybe gotten a different reaction." Brent mumbled, unsure of how his teenage self would even react to that news. Brent gnawed down on his bottom lip, searching in his head for something to do or say. There was only one thing he could think of that wasn't all that helpful but it was a start. Murph looked like he needed one anyway. Brent put his arm around Murph's shoulders and pulled him closer so that his head was resting on Brent's shoulder which was probably uncomfortable considering their vast difference in height. "I'm sorry... I don't want this to make things all awkward with us so... just... I'm still your bestest buddy in the whole world, right?" he half-smiled goofily at Murph.[/ul]

Aiden wanted to just scream and shout at everyone else at the shop. But he didn't. He was way better than that. Brent tried to comfort him and pulled him close which was the last thing Aiden wanted as of the moment: being that close to Brent. He pulled away after Brent spoke and gave him a small smile.
"Of course. But that doesn't mean I'd stop loving you, you little man. You sent me on a crazy adolescent life you know. You will have to take responsibility for that. Because of you, I was never able to love anyone else. It had always been you and you alone." he told him and patted his head.
He took a deep sigh knowing that he had a lot of things to do before he could have Brent to himself. And for that to happen, Aiden had to know everything about Brent's life after leaving America. That was the first thing Aiden knew he should do.

Aiden tried to laugh it off. "Im not making you feel guilty or anything, Bren-bren..." he said as he messed up Brent's hair. "It's not your fault that just having you sit with someone, that person would go crazy in two ways: either they go crazy of your jokes or because they would instantly fall for your charms." Aiden told him.
He leaned back on the couch. He wondered how he was going to go about his task. Brent had been his world since they were kids. And now he finds out that he has to share him with someone else and that someone else is his boyfriend was something Aiden had to think about.
"In some ways, I do regret not telling you how I felt when we were younger. But then again, it was something I knew I did right. Because if I told you, I know you'd freak out and never talk to me again." he added with a sigh.
"If I told you when we turned of age, what would you have done then? Would you have said that you'd return my feelings? Or you'd never speak to me since you didn't even know you were gay then?" Aiden asked.
